Upgrade the MC o 4.1.5

Question

I wan to update my brnd new installed IDSMC2.1 with IDS-K9-sp-4.1-5-S189.zip file, but the update process doesn't start. The job is just waiting in the Pendig Sig Jobs List.
Any idea?

1) Verify that all process are started: Server Configuration | Administration | Process Management | Process Status.
2) Stop, Start all processes will sometimes kick off a hung job.
3) You can look in the logs (CSCOpx/MDC/tomcat/logs/std*.log) for any sensor update errors.
4) You can enable debugging:
a) cd CSCOpx/MDC/etc/ids
b) save log4j_IDS_Sigupdate.properties
c) edit log4j_IDS_Sigupdate.properties and change:
# for full debugging uncomment the folowing
#log4j.rootCategory=all, stdout, fileout
# just errors to the normal log files
log4j.rootCategory=error, stdout
to:
# for full debugging uncomment the folowing
log4j.rootCategory=all, stdout, fileout
# just errors to the normal log files
#log4j.rootCategory=error, stdout
d) stop/start daemon manager
e) try your update
f) look in CSCOpx/log/Test_SigUpdate.log for problems.
5) The recommended method for updating the sensor updates on the MC is via the Autodownload feature. You can either update on demand (check now) or once a day.
