Upgrade to 4.2.1.00.08, but unable to branch to pages?

Hi, this must just be a tweak that I need to make....we recently upgraded to 4.2.1.00.08 from 4.1 (.3?) and I am able to run an application, but when I press the EDIT link on a default REPORT, nothing happens. The same is true for our logon page. I press the GO button after user/pwd is provide and nothing seems to happen.
any hints? thanks
ps. it is as if the page does not submit. For example, in the version we have running with 4.1, if I type in a username and then show session, the username is displayed. In 4.2, if I type in username, and then display session, the username is blank or NOBODY

Hi Karen,
based on the errors you describe I would guess that you haven't copied the images directory as specified in the installation instructions. What is returned if you enter
http://yourdomain:port/i/apex_version.txtas URL into the browser?
PS: BTW, if the APEX Builder is working fine it could be that your admin has setup APEX 4.2 with a different #IMAGE_PREFIX#. Normally it's /i/. If you view the HTML source of an APEX Builder page, what does it show? And what does it show if you do the same for the login page of your application?

(X230) Connected to Wifi with excellent signal but unable to load internet pages:

Hey everyone,
Hoping for the community to help me figure out a problem of mine.
Trying to connect my X230 to internet through a new router (Asus - security type WPA-Personal) and although the laptop connects without a problem (98% signal strength), internet pages are not loading. The diagnosis tool isn't finding anything and I could add that other laptops do not have the same problem when connecting to this router.
My tech level is rather low so I don't know what more I could add to help you guys get a clear view of the situation/problem so if more info is needed, let me know. I won't be far.

To answer your questions:
1. The machine connects fine on other routers. For example Starbucks (Unsecured), friends house (Linksys on WPA2-Personal), two different schools (WPA-Enterprise and WPA2-Enterprise).
Maybe it's a coincidence but its the first time the machine tries to connect to a WPA-Personal...
2. Several other computers connect well to this router. Which leads me to believe that the problem is with the X230.
3. How do I do this if I can't access internet with the said machine? (sorry, a bit of a noob).
Extra notes:
A) When I open up the Wireless Network Connction Status, it says ''No Internet Access'' next to IPv6 Connectivity.
B) Although this router is set on WPA-Personnal, the Lenovo Access Connections manager seems to think that specific router is in fact a WPA2-PSK
Hopefully this will generate more thoughts on the subject.

Connected to an active network but unable to load web pages

Hi,
I am using an old Powerbook with OS 10.2.x and am trying to add it to an existing network at home. The network is a DSL/ADSL connection, which is received by a modem and is passed on to a wired/wireless router. I have a PC which connects successfully to the router either by wire or wireless and is able to load web pages.
My Mac, however, does not. It indicates that it is connected to my wireless network, and shows full signal strength. It is assigned an appropriate IP address by the router. However, I cannot load any webpages. All I get is a 'server not found'. This is vexing me, and I have been at it for hours, but no solution.
Let me add that with the same settings, I was able to browse on my Mac also yesterday, but for some reason, I have no luck today. Can someone please indicate what is going on?

I am having the exact same problems. My laptop (Gateway) connects fine to the router, but my Mac does not. They sit right next to each other upstairs. The signal will SOMETIMES come through to my Airport card and when it does it is at full strength, but when i run Safari, nothing. I have tried to enter all the information that my PC has printed out and displayed for me, but i have no clue what half of the things are. and my applecare has expired so the people at Apple will not help which is extremely annoying. Sorry i can't help. But if i find anything i will let you know.

Internet connected but unable to load web pages

Hi - My computer is an Imac, late 2006 model. For some reason I seem to be having problems connecting to the internet using the Airport connection. Using the Ethernet cable everything is fine no problems whatsoever, but wireless connection just doesn't happen. I have run through all the relevant diagnostics and checked the wireless router modem settings. My wife recently bought a MacBook - it connects wirelessly without a hitch. I even changed the iMac setting to exactly the same as the MacBook, but still nothing. I get the green lights in the Network Diagnostics screen, but when I try to load a page in Safari I just get an error message " Not connected to the Internet, or Server failed to respond".
My broadband ISP is Virgin Media (not a cable connection - it's ADSL) and the wireless router modem is a Netgear DG834GSP v3.
Any ideas anyone as am getting really frustrated at not being able to connect wirelessly.

Hi I have been having exactly the same problem for the last couple of weeks, and can't explain what is happening either. The Mac seems to be connected to the Internet with all of the status 'lights' in Network diagnostics green. I am picking up an IP address but can't load any Web pages. Very puzzling !

Flash 9 installed, but unable to view on pages

I've been helping my uncle with some recent software updates.
Recently, he renewed his Norton Internet Security subscription (for
2 years) and got a free copy of Systemworks out of the deal. Around
the same time, MSN just updated his browser and connection software
(he's on MSN dial-up).
Ever since, his Flash hasn't been working. He had 7, so he
thought he needed to update. Going to the Flash 9 install page
failed to work. Through the MSN browser, no ActiveX control
security dialog happened. I did a clean uninstall of Flash and was
able to get that security dialog. That didn't help, since no
download box came up.
So, I came home. On my computer I downloaded an
install_flash_9 msi package, burned that to a CD and installed it
on his computer. When we go to a site that has flash, it still just
shows a box with an X. I can right click on that and get the
"about" "settings" and "About Flash 9" options, but nothing there
helps.
I searched all over MSN's settings, but haven't found
anything that would block flash. I tried temporarily disabling
Norton, but that didn't help either.
His computer is slow because he has a million spyware
blockers and popup blockers, but I did make sure to shut those
down. I also went through plain IE and checked the Norton Settings
there. I made sure to allow all Flash and ActiveX content there.
Still nothing.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

MSN uses the MSN Explorer, which I think is IE6 based. He
also has IE6 installed, and that's where I can get to the Norton
Internet Security controls. I have already gone to Internet Options
and enabled all the Active X stuff. That didn't work.
I could try to run getflash again, but I think it's installed
OK. Sites report that flash is installed, but applets aren't coming
through. I *think* MSN has foisted on him an MSN Firewall which he
doesn't need with the Norton stuff.

Wireless signal but unable to view web pages

I have a WRT54G version 6 wireless router, it's security enabled and my XP laptop recognizes the signal and says I'm connected, excellent strength. Problem is that when I open IE no pages will load, if I connect the modem to my ethernet connection I can connect fine.
Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem. This morning I went to the website to follow the directions from Easy Answers: How to set up PPPoE DSL connections with Linksys Router......just a great help this was...after all the plug/unplug/plug/computer off/on/off/on....When I clicked on IE icon to connect to the internet, All it Connected to was this LINKSYS page...couldn't go any place else!!!
I've had to unplug everything and go back to the DSL modem direct to this PC to get on the internet to go to this link....Now, interesting it does make sence that both the modem and router can not have the same IP address, but if I change the router..what do I change it too??? May DSL works at 192.168.1.1 which is the same as the link I went too to get the Linksys page. Thanks

Installed 11.1.1.5 version but unable to open EM page

I installed BI version 11.1.1.5. All the services are started and can view the dashboard SampleApplite catalog. i can login to console but I am not able to login to EM. I need to change the repository and catalog but since EM is not working I can't change it.

Buying calendar but unable to find price page

Is apple not supporting Iphoto 6.0.6 for making and buying calendars?
When I click my options+ prices I go to a page with:

Without contract is not the same as unlocked. The update to iOS 7 relocked
the iPhone to the wireless carrier to which it was originally locked. You must
contact that wireless carrier to see if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
If you used jailbreak or other hack to unlock the iPhone initially, the method
used may prevent a legitimate unlock from succeeding and may render your
iPhone unuseable.

I auto-accept upgrades including the most recent Firefox upgrade and the suggested upgrade to Adobe Flash 10.1. But after this, Firefox stopped working and does not work when I re-load Firefox 3.6. Also IE8 now works very slowly and does not locate major websites like Microsoft without a 'can't find the website message' and having to pressing Return a second time. When I do get to the Mozilla website and click on the button to try to download Firefox 3.6.6, I get this message "Oops! Internet Explorer could not find mozilla3.snt.utwente.nl". Can you help with what has gone wrong? As it stands, I can't use Firefox at all. Note: because Firefox did not work after the upgrade, I've downloaded the IE8 version of the Adobe Flash 10.1. I have been having the same problem as the original poster. After upgrading to Ffx 3.6.6, the program asks you to upgrade to Flash Player Plugin 10.1. I download and installed 10.1 only to find videos weren't loading.
In my case, the problem is the previous installation of Flash Player (9.0.47) was somehow messing things up. To fix this, because I already had Flash plugin 10.1 installed I had to uninstall 10.1 using the uninstaller from adobe and then manually remove any files related the old flash player plugin 9.0.47
Here is a run-down of my process:
0. To check if you have a previous installation of the Flash Plugin lurking around, in Firefox go to Tools -> Add-ons -> Plugins (tab). At this point you may seen both Flash plugins.
1. Proceed to uninstall Flash Plugin 10.1. Adobe provides an uninstaller here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
( you have to make sure you have nothing running when you execute the installer).
2. On my Mac (sorry I don't know what it is in Windows) I searched the hard drive for any files/folders with "Shockwave". I found a folder called "Shockwave 10". It wasn't removed by Adobe's uninstaller. For safety I deleted it and then emptied the trash.
3. I then went to My HD -> Library -> Internet Plugins.
Remove the file and folder named "Flash player.old"
4. Restarted; ran the Adobe Flash Player 10.1 installer. Restarted again.
5. Opened up ffx and double checked the plugins list (see step 1). Version 10.1 is installed and available. Went to problem sites to test it out and Success!

Usually the only reason it will ask you to reboot is if there is a file that must be modified that the updater doesn't currently have access to. You should try running the Firefox program once as Administrator:
* Right-click the icon and choose ''Run as Administrator''
If that doesn't help then do a clean reinstall.
# Download a fresh copy of Firefox from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/fx/ Mozilla download page] and save the file to the desktop.
# [[Uninstalling Firefox|Uninstall]] your current version of Firefox and remove the Firefox program folder before running the new installer.
# Run installer
Remember that you don't want to remove personal data when uninstalling. That way you'll still have your personal information.

I believe that all iPhones, purchased in Egypt, from official sources, are sold as carrier locked. So, your phone was hacked by someone so you could use it in Germany. Sorry, but that's what happens to hacked iPhones.
No one here can help you, nor can/will Apple, and since none of the carriers in Egypt offer official unlocking, your choices are not good.

(The only downfall to this backing-up process is that I haven't found an easy way to back-up the comments attached to each photo. Any advice on this? Part of the "horror" to losing one's photos is also losing the comments added to them over the years.)
Back to the install... I installed iLife 08 and it installed correctly. I checked to see what version of the applications I have in the dock on my desktop - I figured it would just import existing data (photos, tunes, etc.) into the newer version and replace it in the dock - +it only did this for iDVD+, of course it wasn't that easy for the others.
I can't find the newer version of iPhoto. My iPhoto in the dock still says version 2. iTunes in my dock is version 7 (7.4.2). iMovie is version 3 (3.0.3). But the new Garageband is there in the dock. And of course, iDVD is the newer version '08.
I am most concerned with iPhoto and making sure all the photos AND their comments import correctly into the newer iPhoto 08. I am nervous about this so I want to make sure I do the process correctly.
I also want to make sure my iTunes information imports correctly to the newer version as well.

If you backed up the iPhoto Library Folder then you got everything - photos, albums, comments etc

The Dock is not important. Look in your Applications Folder for iPhoto 08. That's where it should be. The Dock is just a shortcut to that. What version is in your Apps folder?
To upgrade a Library from v2 to iPhoto 08 all you do is open the Library with the newer version.
