  • User setting upgrading to SBO 2007A

    Hello,
We are in the process in upgrading a customer from 2005 SP 01 to SBO 2007A. Because the customer has over 50+ databases, each with their own user-settings (columns in documents etc.), I like to know if these settings are maintained in the process of upgrading to SBO 2007.

  • Sales analysis zero after upgrade from SBO 6.5 to 2005 SP01

    Hi,
    I have upgraded the DB directly from 6.50.099 SP:01 EF:27 to 2005 SP01 ( 6.80.318 SP:01 PL:18)
I have a clean install of SBO since it is running on another server now.
The only problem I got is that the sales analysis shows zero amounts in the total A/R invoices row for all invoices prior to the upgrade.
The invoices itself have the correct values.
Any clue how to fix this problem?

I just ran the Update Control Report and it shows that
table CRD1 now has more records 94 before 184 after
And there are 7 entries in the System Messages table saying
[Microsoft] [ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Invalid column name 'prjcode'.

  • XL Reporter Runtime error - upgraded from SBO 2005A to SBO 2007A

    Hi Experts,
We upgraded our client SBO 2005A to SBO 2007A. We have this issue with XL Reporter that everytime we go to Advanced Report Builder-> Cell -> Transaction Row -> Attribute ->ARP_Series we are getting IXSelectionBarctl error window that says Run-time error '0', and the only option you have is OK. After pressing OK, it returns another IXSelectionBarctl window error:
    Run-time error '-2147418105 (80010007)'
    Automation error
the callee (server (not server application) is not available and disappeared; all connection are invalid. The call may have executed.
After pressing OK button the Advanced Report Builder is still visible but no longer accessible.
Here is the command under Attribute I'm trying to access.
    "FIG( SO_DocDate = @d1:@d2 And ARP_Series = "1" ) ARDT( Code = "Invoice" )"
Also, this report does not display the item quantity recorded in the invoice. It returns no data when running the report.
I think the problem is that the ARP_Series is no longer available in 2007A, if not where do I find the series or somewhat similar to ARP Series function?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

  • Dunning wizard after upgrading SBO 2005A from PL12 to PL50

After upgrading from SBO 2005A PL12 to PL50, when I run the Dunning Wizard I don't see the Open Invoices for the customers. Is there a Setting that I have to setup or which can cause this problem.

    Hi André,
Did you checked the parameters during the wizard already? For example are all levels included? Did you checked the dunning terms and conditions as well? Are you sure there are invoices that should be displayed?

    Dear Experts,
    I'm trying to upgarde from SAP 2007 A PL-42  to  PL-49.
I have currently got SQL2000 (for legend system) running under the instance name SERVER and i have installed SQL2005 (SAP uses this) with the instance name SERVER\SQL2005, both running on the same machine called SERVER.
When i try to upgrade the SBO-COMMON database, it installs the DI and reaches a point where it asks for:-
    Database Server:-              (I input SERVER\SQL2005)
    Database Name:-              (SBO-COMMON)
    User Name:-                     (sa)
    Password:-                      (password)
When i click the NEXT button, i get the error "unable to connect to database; verify that database TCP/IP port serice is started."
I have verified that the TCP/IP ie enabled, and running on port 1433.
    Addidtional Information:
During installation, it tries to access c:\windows\system32\sqljdbc_auth.dll file, when i click the NEXT button, just before i get the TCP/IP error.
    Would highly appreciate the help.

  • Upgrade SBO 2005A PL 44

    Dear all,
I will upgrade to SBO 2005A PL44, before I used SBO 2005A PL 43. I have met a problem about error reconcile and suggest to upgrade to solve this problem.
How this PL 44? What is stable patch and fix to use on application? Because if I have been upgraded it so I could not be downgrade.
Please let me know about this....
    Regards,
    agung

    Dear,
For error reconciliation issue, SAP give a great improvement on 2007 Version.
In SAP Business One 2007 A & B the reconciliation engines have been unified & partial reconciliation on journal entry level is now fully supported. Any database that is upgraded from a lower version undergoes
a complex series of reconciliation upgrade algorithms, where any
reconciliation inconsistency is identified & a reconciliation upgrade (RU) journal entry is automatically created. This RU journal does not
document any accounting transaction, but simply creates an update in the 'Balance Due' column, thus notionally re-openeing previously
    inconsistently reconciled transactions.
These RU journals are then available for internal reconciliation.
Please consult the 2007 Internal Reconciliation Upgrade(IRU)Landing Page:
Channel Partner Portal -> Solutions -> SAP Business One -> Hot Topics ->
SAP Business One 2007 Information Center -> New Single Reconciliation
Engine- A single engine reconciles the difference and eliminates the
    previous reconciliation issue. More
Click on 'More' to be directed to the IRU Landing Page.
Here you will find 'How-to-Guides' in all supported languages, links to
Expert Training Sessions & links to other pertinent information.
You will also find available for download 2007 A & B upgrade simulation
tools. SAP recommends to subject a database that is planned to be
    upgraded
This upgrade simulation tool employs all internal reconciliation upgrade algorithms & the application will display in the 'Internal
Reconciliation Upgrade Audit Trail Report' if a database is affected by
    inconcistencies.
We will alway recommend you to upgrade to latest patch.
Wish the information above is helpful for you.

  • XML file missing some schema after upgrade to 8.8

    Hi Experts,
We have already upgraded from SBO 2005A to 8.8.  We have Add-on developed ourselves to export sales order, purchase order to xml file from SBO.  But the schema <Costingcode> is missing from the file.  How to include this schema back to the 8.8 xml file?
    Regards,
    Eric

    Eric,
I am not 100% clear on your question, but there have been changes between Business One 2005A an 8.8.  I recommend that you look at the Compatibility Issues/Changes for 8.8 at this link ...
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/20f81618-0ab4-2c10-0eab-f5255034e5d7
Also, I am not sure where you originally pulled the CostingCode from (I assume the document lines object?), but it is still available via the Document_Lines Object via the DI API, so you should still be able to access this.

  • SAP Business One v8.8 (PL12) - Upgrading

    Hello Forum
this is my first post so apologies....
I am trying to establish a SAP B1 v8.8 test environment on a 'offline' server. I am encountering 2 issues when installing/upgrading...
    Original environment:
             HP ProLiant Server
             5gb RAM
             Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise Server
(Service Packed and Updated from Windows Update)
    Firstly,
SAP Server Tools / Server / Client will all install using a base of PL05, I can then upgrade this to PL10 (both of which were supplied by our Partner) - I operated on this PL level for a week or so with no trouble what so ever. Later I recieved PL12 on a disc from our Partner and went through the upgrade process from PL10 to PL12.
This failed showing 'Creatordll.DLL' error straight away when the process started to upgrade the SBO-COMMON database. I could see the Server Tools get upgraded first and then the SBO-Common database getting backed up and as soon as this has completed the error happens. The upgrade then rolls back (Restores) the SBO-Common and then stops advising also that the Server Tools will need a manual restoration.
MS Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package was the only reference that I could find on SDN so I followed the instructions here.
    Amended environment:
             HP ProLiant Server
             5gb RAM
             Windows 2008 Enterprise Server
             (Updated from Windows Update)
    Secondly,
When attempting to troubleshoot this problem, the directory "C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Server " has only the B1_SHR available in Windows Explorer. When I check this against our LIVE environment using SAP B1 2007a the same directory has "B1_SHR \ DI API \ SAP Business One DI API \ B1iServer \ B1iSetup" listed.
When in the PL05 or PL10 environments SAP operates perfectly fine despite the fact that there is no other directories showing here. The base install and upgrade to PL10 completed without error so I had no need to investigate the SAP Business One directory until PL12 failed.
I'm hoping that someone in the Forums can help me out with these issues.
    Thanks

    Hi Garry,
I would suggest you to download the latest installation package on 8.8 PL10 which is available on the Service Market Place. In order to solve the issue with 'Creatordll.DLL' please follow the steps from the Note [1408662|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1odSZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1408662]. Issue could be caused due to missing Microsoft ATL security patch.
    hope it helps,
