Upgraded 4s to iOs8 and now can't update any apps

Facebook will not work. It crashes and returns to home screen. 11 Apps need updates (including Facebook). When I try to update them the wheel spins for a while and the update button reappears. I have tried a Restore and it still happens.

Set it up as new device, make sure all the apps are updated in the iTunes library and try to use iTunes to restore it again from the latest backup:

For whatever reason, very clearly a simple typo, it logged me into '[email protected]'. I don't know how, I don't know why. I do not have a password for that account, to my knowledge that account does not exist. Yes. I have also wiped and restored the ipad. I have also tried updating the apps via itunes on my mac. It always says the account is [email protected] It isn't. I have proof I bought it with [email protected] I have credit card receipts, apple receipts, et cetera. The account has always been, and will always be @gmail.com.

Updated to OS5 and now can't open any apps (free or purchased).

I'm worried about losing all the data in the Budget app I have been using all year. I can open all the apps that come with the phone but anything I have installed myself just flicker and not open. I have tried re-syncing and re-booting with no luck.

Upgraded to Tiger and now can't open any illustrator files! Please help me!

I upgraded my OS to Tiger and then updated to 10.4.8 and now can't get any of my Illustrator EPS files to open. I have spent the whole day trying to figure this one out (Launch Services advice in other posts) without any luck. What is going on here?!!! I have so much serious work to get done this weekend!

It's hard for anyone to offer any advice when you don't tell us what specifically is happening or not happening. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say? What version of Illustrator are you using? Does Illustrator open at all? Does it open regular Illustrator files? Have you reinstalled Illustrator?

Check System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced
Click: Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Then empty the Safari cache.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop > Empty Caches
Quit and relaunch Safari then try Flash on a website for sound.

icloud just keeps bringing up my old email address & asking for my old password which doesn't exist anymore and when I try to sign out of icloud it wants my old password, when I tried to change my primary email back to the old one it wants me to verify it through an email address that doesn't exist. Please can you help me sort out this nightmare.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.
If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud - Apple Support
Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

I've tried opening straight into other apps and just get error messages, and I the mail preview there is just a grey screen telling me the file name and size. It worked fine until I did the IOS upgrade

Welcome to the Apple Support Community!
It sounds like your Apple ID is used for both the iTunes & App Stores and iCloud. If you edited that Apple ID before signing out of the iCloud on your devices, it may be necessary to edit the Apple ID back to the original email account so that you can sign out of iCloud. Once signed out, you can edit the Apple ID back to the new email account and sign back in. Please use the attached article for further information.

Absolutely right. I restarted in Safe Mode. This enabled me to see the actual text on the screen. Then I backed up. Then reinstalled. All fixed.
