Upgraded from Aperture 2 to 3 and now photos are no longer in photo book

Hi,
I've recently upgraded my copy of Aperture from version 2 to 3 and after my library had updated everything seemed fine until I looked at a photo book I was working on. It appears that all of the photos that I had placed in the book are no longer there, and I am now left with a blank template.
The album I built up of photos to include is still there, they just aren't arranged on the pages of the book. Has anyone else experienced this, and if they have are there any suggestions for a solution?

Did you restore the backup of your iPhone 4 to your 5s? That's how you transfer the settings, data and purchased media to your new phone. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2109.

Well, think about it. This is a Lightroom forum. We are here to answer questions about Lightroom and how to solve problems in Lightroom. Your permissions issue is an operating system issue, not a Lightroom issue. I didn't mean to be sarcastic. But there are plenty of Internet resources that will answer that question.
I just went to Google and typed in "change disk permissions", and there are links for the Mac as well as for Windows listed. There's no sense in me rewriting instructions that are already available.

If downloading an app is interrupted
Once an Internet connection is reestablished, your purchased downloads should automatically restart. The Mac App Store may alert you that there was an issue with the download and ask if you'd like to restart the download(s). Confirming will restart all pending downloads. You can use some third party software to copy the music from your old iPod back to computer first, and then import the music into iTunes and re-sync them to yournew iPod. Here is a guide about how to transfer iPod music to computer. Hope it helps. Feel free to email me if you need further help.

Just upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite and now only one of my two iPhoto libraries seems to be available. Please help.

and could select to Switch between either of the libraries.

If all you did was sync your phone, and if you haven't synced again since this happened, you can restore your phone from the backup that was created at the beginning of the sync process (camera roll photos are included in the backup). If you have synced again since this happened this backup has already been overwritten and your photos are lost. Also, if you restored your phone from the backup of your iPod, rather than just synced, then your photos are lost too.
If you have an intact backup that contains these photos, do the following:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Connect your phone to your computer, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose your most recent backup to restore from.
When complete, you can go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing.

[SOLVED] Upgraded to XFCE 4.8, and now I can no longer suspend

I upgraded to XFCE 4.8 (from 4.6) recently, and I noticed it crippled my "Log Out" screen from what it used to be.
- "reboot" is grayed out now.
- "shutdown" is grayed out now.
- no "suspend" option anymore.
- no "hibernate" option anymore.
Things I've done to try and fix the issue:
- deleted everything in .cache regarding to xfce
- reinstalled xfce
- added privs on sudo for my user to reboot and halt
I am using SLiM for my login manager (and have been prior to upgrading).
Does anyone know a fix for this?

I only recently upgraded from iOS5 to iOS6 and now my apps are crashing constantly and my email won't load

I had put off upgrading my iPhone 4 to the iOS6 and only gave in to it about a week ago when I thought that the trouble I was having with a select few apps was because of my outdated operating system. Now, I'm regretting it terribly and would either like to know how to revert back to iOS5 or fix this irritating as all **** and unproductive system. I had backed up my phone right before upgrading thinking that that way, I could just restore to it if I didn't like iOS6, but now I'm seeing that restoring to that point does not in fact restore firmware.
Now I have a maps app that won't help me plan through public transit.
An email app that will not update my inbox or any box even though it falslely says it checked and there was simply nothing new.
Every other app I have crashes constantly.
When I turn on the iPod/music function, there's an extended delay before the music will actually start playing.
The shuffle function is messed up (if I'm playing a tracklist of 38 songs, it will only shuffle a few of them and just keep looping through those few tracks).

My contract is almost up and I was hoping that all the negative stuff I had heard about iOS6 would have been resolved by now so that I could confidently by the next iPhone, but at this rate, I'll be ditching Apple's phone entirely.

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Help Needed. Upgrade from CS2 to CS3 and now PSD Linked Files Not Read?

Just upgraded to Illustrator CS3 and I am trying to work on a document I created in CS2 and for some reason when I open the document I am getting this message:
Could not find the linked file "filename.psd". Choose repair to locate the missing file, Replace to select another file, or Ignore to leave the link unchanged.
Now I went in to try to re-link the file, but I can not 'see' any PSD files? I had a series of transparent PSDs in that document.
Why can't the new Illustrator see my PSD files and how do I fix this problem?

Hi! I just wanted to post back to say that I ran the installation CD again to fix whatever might be wrong and when I re-opened Illustrator I could go in and see the "PSD" extension to re-associate the files.
I'm now having problems with Photoshop CS3, so I'll have to sort that now. Not the smoothest of upgrades to this CS3 suite, I must say. LOL
Oh well!

I downloaded the 3.6.23 upgrade from 3.6.22 and now my computer tells me I'm running 1.5. What's up with that? I'm on a Mac osx 10.5.8, non Intel based.

Just upgraded to iTunes 10.4 and now I can no longer...

1. Drag a playlist that was created in iTunes to either of my iPods.
2. Rearrange songs within a play list by just dragging them to where I want them.
Did Apple really kill these features or is there a just a different way of doing it now?

Ok, I've been researching this for quite some time today and found a thread in which there was a similar issue and it looks like its related to the use of a Wacom tablet. I plugged in a normal mouse and I can now move songs around freely within my playlists again. Hopefully Apple fixes this annoying little bug soon.
