Upgraded from trial to registered, now the entire project is gone

I was working on a trial version of PP and never manually saved because it asked me to save every 10 minutes or so and I clicked yes everytime. Then, about 5 hours after I've been working on it, I was importing a .mp3 when the program stopped responding. I shut the program down and reopened it and a dialog box came up saying my trial had expired. I opted to buy it, so I could finish my project. After buying and installing and updating CC, I clicked on the .prproj file that was saved to a file on my desktop and when I opened it with PP, EVERYTHING WAS GONE. I had made about an 8 minute long project, with multiple clips. When I open it in my newly bought PP, it looks like the blank workspace before I started making anything. I'm devastated. I restarted my computer, I looked under "archived files", I looked in the autosave folder on my PC, it's as if the hours of work I had just done never existed.
Please, someone help me get my project back :'(

So I figured it out, thanks team.
Searched .prproj in my comp and came up with a bunch of files... no idea how, why, what. It wasn't where I left off, but it definitely saved me hours of work! Thanks to my friend (:

running imovie on a powermac w 10.6.8. went through the tutorials. imported my clips, got the hang of basic editing, and created a project.
was pretty happy with it, but needed to shut down and come back to work on it later. when i did come back, the entire project was gone.

So, everything worked out just fine!
I have all my material in the ProRes Codec on a seperate drive now. The project itself was kept or rather duplicated, the bin structure etc stayed the same but is linking to the newly created files. The playback and workflow is fluent. I am happy!
Time info: For about 120 GB of material the codec change process took 25 hours.

Upgrading from Trial to registered version of Server 2012 Essentials

I believe my Trial ran out.
Arrived in the morning to see my server rebooting right after attempting to scan the registry. During the scan, it reads 0% and erorrs to “If you’d really like to know, it is a registry error”.
I’m able to restart in Safe Mode w/ Network and it appears that the entire domain tree is unresponsive. All data is intact and I’m able to get out to the internet.
Tried to use the repair feature from CD but it states that C: is locked.
Also unable to reinstall due to the drive being locked.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I noticed that you can restart the server in Safe Mode. Just a confirmation, please check if be able to run
the server in normal mode again? Then check if can convert the server to full version. Or tell us why be unable to access normal mode?

After "upgrading" from trial to FCPX 10.0.3 multi cam does not work

After "upgrading" from trial to FCPX 10.0.3, multi cam does not work anymore. Everything was fine in the trial version, but now the multicam clip I made in trail is shown, but not with the 4 windows, only the first angle can be seen. And I can not find (import) the cuts I made in the trail. The settings are the same in both versions. Am I missing something? Is it possible that I have to start from scratch and all work is lost?
When I double click the multi cam clip I see all four angles in the timeline, one underneath the other...

Can I sync my iCloud calendar with Outlook 365? I upgraded from Office 2010 and now it doesn't sync.

I upgraded from Outlook 2010, and now it doesn't update in Outlook 365. Thinking I can't do it, and it's a pity, cause I want it all to integrate on phone and on desktop. I'm running Windows 7 and Office 365. The iCloud app works fine with Internet Explorer, but I can't get the calendar to update. Any suggestions?

No. It was true, but with the v3.0 software that changed - you can now sync your Exchange contacts and calendar over the air, and your Address Book and iCal via iTunes over the docking cable.
What is the best work around for this?
None needed. When you set up the exchange account, and choose to turn on syncing of contacts and calendars, you will be prompted to remove all other data, or keep it on the iPhone. Choose the keep option. Note that in that case, your personal data will not be uploaded to the Exchange server - the iPhone keeps them separate (although you can choose to view them in a merged fashion).
I have this set up on my phone (Exchange calendar along side personal and other calendars from iCal). Same for contacts. Works great.

Upgrading from trial to paid

Hi,
I just upgraded from trial to paid (final cut pro x)
I thought it would just unlock the trial version, but instead it started downloading the 1.51 GB file again
(I clicked the buy button from the trial, it appeared to try to open the app store, but didn't,
so I opened it, searched and bought)
My questions are:
1) Is there some way to just update the trial so I don't have to wait for this download
2) Biggest one, is wil my files from the trial be accessible?

Your existing Projects and Events will still be there when the paid version is installed and you can carry on editing them if you wish.
As far as I know, you have to wait for it to reinstall - which is curious because Apple claim the versions are identical.

Upgrading from Trial version to Developer Edition

We installed SQL server 2014 trial edition in 2014 and the trial period just expired. No longer access SQL server 2014. Also in 2014 I purchased the SQL server 2014 Developer Edition.
I go in the maintenance section of SQL server 2014 and try to upgrade by entering my product key and get an error message that my product key is not valid. I called Microsoft and two different employees confirmed my product key is good.
Should I be able to upgrade from Trial version to Developer Edition by simply entering my product key?

As other post, you should be able to upgrade from Trial Edition to Developer Edition by entering product key from SQL Server setup wizard, you can follow the steps in this similar
blog. You can also use the following command lines to upgrade SQL Server 2014 Trial to a full version.

According to your description, the issue that “product key is not valid” might be caused by several reasons such as corrupted installation file, antivirus scanning and so on. There are some proposals for you troubleshooting this issue.
1. Please ensure that your SQL Server installation file is not corrupted. If you are using ISO download, please copy the content of the ISO image to the local disk on your computer and upgrade SQL Server from there.
2. Make sure you use corresponding license key matched the edition and version of SQL Server.
3. Make sure that you don’t exceed the limit of allowed activations of the product key.
4. Turn off any Anti-virus software when upgrading SQL Server.

Upgrade from trial pages to licenced

i have recently purchased pages from the app store,but im unable to upgrade from trial to licenced, i recieved email but no licence number can anybody tell me how to retrieve my licence number please.

Mark is correct; apps from the Mac App Store do not have licenses codes. He's also correct that you will need to completely uninstall iWork:

Error when upgrade from Trial SharePoint Enterprise to regular SharePoint Enterprise

Hi everybody,
a few months ago we build a VM with the Azure Template of a SharePoint 2013 which included the regular trial key. Now the key expired and our customer gave us an SP Enterprise key but then this error occured:
This product key cannot be used to convert SharePoint Server Trial with Enterprise Client Access License to SharePoint Server with Enterprise Client Access License.
So it´s say that the designated upgrade path is wrong. I am a bit confused.

I do not think the issue is related to Azure Virtual Machine, it is more related to license issue i think.
Could you confirm to your customer the key is correct.

The latest version of iPhoto - 9.5.1 - requires MacOS X 10.9.x. Is it possible to upgrade your Mac to Mavericks? Then you can buy the latest iPhoto from the AppStore.
If your Mac does not support Mavericks, you could upgrade to iPhoto 9.4.3, see: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1650 , but this version is no longer availbale from the AppStore. Buy a boxed retail version of iPhoto '11 from Amazon or eBay, and then update it from the support page http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1650 .

My family owns and operates a non-franchise entertainment facility (miniature golf, laser tag, arcade, pizza, parties...). I have a design background, so among the many things I do here I'm also able to create marketing materials and an online presence in-house which would be too expensive for us to outsource. Over a five year period, that's given us a software cost of right at $1 per day since our CS3 license ran around $1800. Our customers are the public, and the package we try to push for walk-in traffic costs $50 for four people. In exchange, they get unlimited mini golf, a game of laser tag, and a large pizza. Not a bad deal. If we were to earn $1800 from that group of four every five years, assuming they spent $50 each visit, that'd bring them here close to two times every three months. For our type of business in a city of 118,000 tight-fisted Germans, that's about right.

As far as Adobe's policy change announcement goes, I have no idea how it was announced. I DO know I was not sent an email notification, though they have my email address and record that I'm a CS3 owner. Presumably it was announced somewhere on Adobe's website, and further disseminated through various digital and print trade publications. I respect Adobe's right to not reverse its decision. If our business decided to put a sign on the front doors (since we don't have contact info for all of our past customers) saying we'd closed that night at 5 PM instead of 11 PM as usual, we aren't obligated to let in latecomers. But I'd also recognize their right to be mad at us for wasting their travel time. What I WOULDN'T do is tell them it's THEIR fault for not being proactive and calling ahead to confirm the expectation that our hours are still the same as they've been for the last decade. NOR would I be surprised if we didn't get their $50 that month. These Germans tend to hold grudges.
