Upgraded LR5B to LR5, LR5 will not download updates.  Wants ACR 8.1 for Panos

I paid for a download of LR5 upgrade from LR5-beta,  LR5 will not connect to the server for updates and when I try to send photos to CS6 for a panorama, it can not find ACR 8.1??

Should work from CS6 to update ACR to 8.1. If not, you will find some help and a direct link here: http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2013/06/camera-raw-8-1-and-dng-converter-8-1-now-a vailable.html and there is no need to sign for the cloud to update current CS6 AFAIK.
As DdeGannes already said, for LR5 there are no updates available so far.

My wife's phone had similar symptoms, at least with the text notification alert not working.  I have narrowed it down to happening after we use the new navigation feature in the Maps.  When we power the phone off and back on, the alert sound seems to return.  I haven't tried just "killing" the Maps app after we use it...perhaps that would work as well.

  • Flash player will not download update

I am working on OS X 10.8.5 and flashplayer will not download updates because of failure to unzip metafile file. My current version is out of date and no longer works at all. I have seen post from a Yuko C. that may have some answers.

I would request you to post your Query on Flash Player Forums community.

  • SUS will not download updates

    Hi,
I've just upgraded my server from 10.4.11 to 10.5.7 and setup DNS/Open directory and other required services including SUS. The problem that I have is that when I click on the 'Update List' button nothing is downloaded. I've binned prefs etc.... from /etc/swupd/ which hasn't made any difference. I've restarted the server several time and stop/started the service through the terminal several times. What ever I do it just will not download any updates. The last check box still is saying that the last update was yesterday which isn't true as I've tried to force it maybe 30-40 times. Internet is fine.
Please help as this is getting annoying. I've set this up several times before without any problems

    Greetings All
Just wanted to comment that I am experiencing similar issues.
This is a fresh install of 10.5.6 with an update to 10.5.7
I do receive some errors and it appears that the SUS is missing some updates. I have the updates organized by date and I do not see some updates which I do see on the standalone MacBooks; such as the 10.5.8 update.
However the SUS reports that the last check occurred on the current date (sept 18th 2009) and there is a download/update from yesterday (Apple RAID Card Firmware Update) however I do not see such updates as 10.5.8
Perhaps it is a mistake on my part and the updates which I see on a standalone machine should not match the SUS, but to me that did not make sense
Here is a screen shot of the updates which I have and I am including some error logs.

  • HT201412 Will not download updates

Device indicates updates are available , however system will not download the updates. How do I remedy this?

Well, then as Diavonex indicated, you should hook your device up to iTunes on the computer you sync with and do it from there. This is a robust update. I tried to update my device a couple of times OTA, and it just wasn't able to complete the update. So, I hooked it up to my computer and did it from there.
It takes some time, so best to just hook it up, start the update, make sure it is going, then find something else to do for an hour or so....
    Cheers,

  • I purchased season one of the TV series Justified, however one episode is corrupt and will not download and I have alread paid for the full season. How can I resolve this problem?

Will I get a refund I really just want the missing episode.  What a rip!

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

  • ITunes will not download update (either iTunes versions or iPhone software)

Need some help with a connection problem. iTunes will not fully download either an iTunes update or the iPhone software update. I am quite sure the problem is the wireless connection but I don't know how to solve.
I am running Belkin Wireless N networking with Windows XP Media Center with all updates and iTunes is the only place I have an issue. If I run a hard line to my router and hook to the LAN card, all downloads work fine. If I try to use the wireless, I get this message when I try to get the iPhone software update. "There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone "XXX's iPhone". The network connection was reset. I get the same message when I try to download an iTunes update.
Any ideas on what to do to get around this?
    Thanks for the help.

I have updated the firmware on my router, reinstalled the driver for the wireless in the PC, cleared all temp files and cache. I got iTunes to update itself. However, the 3.0.1 iPhone update will not get fully downloaded before the connection resets. I tried it 3 times last night and got to 260M the 1st time, 220 the 2nd time, and 10M the 3rd time. Is there a direct weblink to the iPhone software update that I could try to get with a browser?
    Thanks

  • TS3212 my computer will not download updates a box pops up with invalid signature, what is this and how do i get round it

The Apple store has re booted my i phone with the latest software, my computer now will noy talk to my iphone because the software is in need of updating, however every time I try to update it it pops up with a box saying"invalid signature" what is this and how do I get round it, I'm running windows XP with macafee, help, Steve H

I tried to download itunes again from the web several times, I also reomved using the tools the smart screen filter, somehow eventually, after 3.5 hours of trying I managed to get the computer to talk to my phone, however it would not download some of my stuff because it says it was corrupt, I think this was my message and call history because I think that is all that was missing. Apple should come up with a simple fix for this I see that I am not the only one to have encountered this issue, Steve H

  • I have a "Security Unlocked" HTC 8x that will not download updates. Is there a way to push updates to it?

So I destroyed the LCD on my first 8x and had to get a replacement. I bought another 8x on ebay and it turns out that it is "Security Unlocked". I apparently have full access to the bootloader and can enter all sorts of fun modes by pressing buttons
during bootup. But I am unable to install any OTA updates to the phone. When I search for updates on the phone it tells me that my device is up to date (my current version is 8.0.900.568). If I attempt to install language packs, I just get an error "Couldn't
    download. Tap to retry".
When I boot to "bootloader mode", which displays lots of numbers and bar codes, the indications are that this phone was shipped from HTC this way and was not hacked by a previous owner. I suspect the ebay seller got it like this new. The ebay seller
has not responded to any of my messages.
HTC support has been less than helpful (though the support agent did try his best to help me out) and Windows Phone support believed I was referring to "Developer unlocked" and said I would probably have better luck here. I have registered the
phone with Visual Studio and have so far been unsuccessful at finding any way to push updates to the phone directly, but I'm not sure at all where to look. Right now I just have VS Express with the WP SDK installed, but I can install VS 2013 Pro on here if
    I need to.
Since it is security unlocked, I supposedly have access to all sorts of gooey parts of the phone, including potentially the OS partition. I have the technical skill and ability to perform whatever official or unofficial or unsupported tasks might be involved
in getting this thing to work like a normal phone. I just don't have the esoteric knowledge to do so.
So the original question - are there any hacks I can do to make it function like a regular phone and download updates OTA? (To be clear, I am not trying to hack the phone, I'm trying to UNhack the phone.) Is there a way to push updates with Visual Studio
    or in some other way?

I am sorry that you don't find the answer to be correct. In THIS forum, telling you that you are in the wrong forum, and suggesting where to post for correct answers, or indeed any support, IS the answer.
I'm also sorry that you purchased a phone that you are having trouble with. If the vendor cannot help you (HTC), and the eBay seller cannot help you, then you really do need to either follow up with the forums Ken suggests, or the HTC forum, or with eBay.

  • Adobe Flash Player update will not download and receive messages that plugin for videos is disabled.

Received message that Adobe FlashPlayer needed to be updated. I try walking through the steps and it will never download. Cannot view news clips or videos sent to me. Receive a message "The plugin for this content has been disabled. Click here to manage." If I click, nothing happens.

Have you blocked a component called ''plugin_container.exe'' with your firewall by any chance? Check the logs.
Try downloading the [http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html Flash Player Uninstaller]
Next, reboot and then go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ It should give you the option to install it immediately without the need to download it.
Be aware though that when you run the uninstaller, it will also remove Flash from IE8 (or 9), so if you use either of those, you'll have to go to the same site again and download it from within Internet Explorer.

  • What is a good free substitute for Adobe Flash Player? Apple will not download this but I need it for several things I want to do?

What is a good "free" substitute for Adobe Flash Player? I need this for photos to be developed.

You cannot substitute another app for Flash because it is proprietary technology. Apple is adamant about keeping Flash out of their phones and tablets, hence why you will not find it in the App Store. If you want to be able to use Flash on-the-go, consider purchasing an Android device.
Doesn't matter at this point.  Android 4.0.3 is the last OS he'll have if he wants flash.  Adobe has already stopped development for their mobile flash player.

  • ITunes will not download updates saying I'm in Ireland not the USA. I am in NYC!

My iTunes on my iPhone4S refuses to download updates saying my account is not valid in Ireland.  Iam in New York City!  How do I update my location?

Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your phone and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select USA

  • I run 3.6.13, yet Help - Apply Downloaded Update wants me to restart for 'Update: Firefox 3.6.11'

    I run version 3.6.13 via Help->About...
However in the help drop down, "Apply Downloaded Update" is active and selecting it wants me to update to 3.6.11
    See http://i.imgur.com/PcoTQ.png
How can I remove this downloaded update? And/or make firefox not think it wants to apply an older update?
I run Win7, using a non-admin account. When I get firefox updates, normally I just close firefox then launch it as administrator so it can update. Not sure if that affects anything.

Please see this article for instructions on how to solve your problem: [[Updates reported when running newest version]]
