Upgraded Software to 4.3 and facetime disappeared

Hi all. I updated the software and I cannot figure out what happened to my face time. I am in the USA and brought my phone from At&t nothing special here. Please help if you can...

hey! my facetime is still not working. my facetime slider was already on..but I switched it off and then on..still not working.. I reset all in the general>phone>reset all, then also not working...I cannot see the facetime button on my home page after os4.3 upgrade...help!

Upgrade software... location and backup?

I purchased the new apps from iTunes last night, and upgraded my iTunes/QuickTime to the latest versions. Is the iPod upgrade software part of the iTunes library of that machine? And, if so, can it be backed up somehow in case I have a system (or iPod) problem?

I installed the 1.1.3 update (which was very small and free of charge), but surely that little 12k file doesn't contain all the new apps...?
The purchased software download said ("153MB" or close to that) as it was trying to download. It failed with network timeouts every time I tried it last night... that's the one I'm wanting to back up (once I get it to download, that is...)
I thought perhaps I could try downloading it from here at work, where my net connection is more reliable, but I'm guessing I have to do it from the machine that's associated with my iTunes account.

Too worried to upgrade software. The pros and cons

I am all for making improvements and fully understand that we can't always get it right first time every time but atm I am too concerned with the fact that updating my software will create problems that are non-existent in my eyes.
My girlfriend updated her (my old) N70 software last week and now her phone is in the repair shop. This could just be a coincidence but....
I had an N95 (on orange) and was stung when the "unlucky for some" version 13 was installed on the handset. See the epic thread here "N95 firmware upgrade affects battery life" (couldn't post link)
I carried out the full back up to my card as instructed but the games I purchased would no longer work so had to re-buy them. The battery life was killed in eight hours due to the wlan making a connection attempt as long as the battery would allow it to happen. The point is... all of this was not happening before the update.
It was that bad that in the end I was forced to upgrade / get a new contract before I was entitled to one from Orange and had to fork out for two contracts to get the handset spec I needed.
I now have an N95 8GB and have no qualms with it what so ever. It has version 20 atm and pc suite informs me there is an update every time I boot the program up. So far.. I have declined to update.
So what are the pros and cons and is it more of a risk to chance losing the licenses I have paid for and update if nothing is wrong?

I myself am also worried. A friend of mine told me if there is no porblem with your current version of firmware for your phone then why update? It is not a assurance that after updating there would be no problems/bugs with the new version.My friend has a point. Why would we update if there is no problem with your current firmware version? Some would say it would be faster, there would be more improvements to the music ( which I know would be depending with your hardware and not the software).
I am thinking of updating my firmware with a Nokia Service Center here in my country (Philippines). It is for free at the moment because my phone ins under 1 year Warranty. But I am thinking twice after what my friend told me.
I hope my opinion helps you all out here.

I upgraded today, and after doing so, opened my iTunes app, and all my music movies and TV shows saved to the hard drive were gone.

As the topic says, can I update firmware in Palm III and Palm V?
Could a Palm III update package be beamed to Palm III from Palm V?

If the information is in iTunes on the computer you have synced with in the past another sync, being sure you select the items you want on the iphone, should copy those things back to the iPhone.

After IOS7 upgrade I have lost iMessage and FaceTime.

Does anyone have a solution, Apple have not been very helpful, i.e. Technical support recommended waiting 24 hours to see if that helped, it didn't.

Try using Spotlight by swiping down on the middle of any home screen and typing for them, just in case they are "hidden" in any folders. If they show up in the results, you will see the folder they are on the right part.
Check as well that you don't have restrictions enabled in Settings > General > Restrictions

Messages and facetime complain about incorrect ID and password

I have an issue after upgrading to Mountain Lion - Messages and Facetime dont sign in? Is anyone facing this problem and if anyone found a fix for it, please reply back to this post....

I have just posted a similar post, i am also having issues with messages, i have not tried to use facetime
I am getting told password is incorect, even when i know what it is, and it works for everythign else.
I believe is it something wrong on Apples side.

My camera and facetime are not working

The icons for my camera and facetime disappeared. When checking the internet for help, some said to go into "Settings" then " Restrictions" and then enable the camera and facetime. I see these 2 items and they show that they are turned off. But when I try to turn them on nothing happens. I tried other switches such as Safari and it turns on and off. IMessage and Facetime issues after upgrading to iOS 8

My husband has a Mac-book pro, and I have an iPhone 5C and an iPad (with retina display). I just upgraded my phone and iPad to ios8. Before, my husband and I were able to send messages back and forth with iMessage and he was able to call me on Facetime and now we cannot. I did not accept the iCloud drive on the phone and iPad, but I think he may have on his end. He is currently out of town so i wasn't able to tell him not to when it popped up. We do use the same Apple ID for iTunes and the computer, iPad and iPhone, however for iMessage and Facetime he has his own Apple ID. Is there any way I can fix this so we can talk again with the iMessage? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Sounds like Spaces is being activated somehow. With the wired keyboard and mouse in use, select the Exposé & Spaces control pane in System Preferences, click the choice in that pane for Spaces. See what the settings are. There are some activation settings in that pane - by default, F8 activates it.
It could be that the bluetooth keyboard has some stuck keys and is activating Spaces; or that the activation command has somehow been reset to something that the bluetooth mouse, or bluetooth itself, is triggering.
