Upgraded to 7.5 and iTunes is Broke

Hi After upgrading, iTunes is toast. When I try to open, it flashes to iTunes and then I get the "iTunes unexpectedly quit" I've tried permissions, Disk Warrior, trashed itunes and redownloaded, tried 7.4.2 and I keep getting ....Unexpectedly quit. I have no idea what else I can do.
Any help or advise would be appreciated.

You first have to update your OS X 10.4.3 to 10.4.7 or better, then click on this latest info link from Apple, plus the additional link "Recreate" that is posted within this document.

  • Upgrading disaster iOS5.0 and Itunes 10.5!

No apps no music working after upgrading to iOS5.0 and Itunes 10.5!  I tried the restore option and it won't take me back.  The downloaded music from CDs is all wrong when played.  What have you done to m IPOD Touch 4 Gen Apple???

    Oh also I must add...
When installing the ios5 software and the phone had then been restored from back up it kept coming up an error message that the restore hadn't been successful. I ignored this as everything was as before on my phone and each time I pressed for it to restore it again the same error message came up.

  • HT2305 I want to upgrade IMovie, IPhoto, Garageband and ITunes. My MacBookAir is one year old. But what are the prices for updates?

My MacBookAir is one year. I want to upgrade IMovie, IPhoto, Garageband and ITues, But What are the prices for these upgrades. How do I get around?

Actually, if you are updating the free iLife apps (iPhoto, iMovie & GarageBand) that came with your new Mac, the updates are free. Only if you are upgrading to newer major paid versions would you be charged.
    iTunes is always free, but is located in Apple Downloads, not the Mac App Store;

  • Just upgraded to OSX Mavericks and iTunes 11.1.2. iTunes store temporarily unavailable since upgrade/update. What to do?

I just upgraded to Mavericks and iTunes 11.1.2 on my iMac (2012). When I try to access iTunes store, I now get "Store is temporarily unavailable." I quite iTunes, rebooted. I can't sign-out or access account. I can sign in to App store and iCloud on same computer. My macbook pro and macbook air both work with iTunes on the same network. I tried clearing iTunes cache and resetting warnings, just for the **** of it.
So...I don't see anything about this particular issue...where all other macs and Apple devices are working but one isn't...and where the one not working is the upgrade to OSX 10.9.
Also, I haven't changed any passwords or email addresses for my Apple ID lately.
    Ideas?
    griggsle

After receiving the "temporarily unavailable" error message on the iMac for three days, rebooting multiple times, etc., without effect, this morning the store started working on this computer as well.
Since I could access my Apple on the Apple site and in iCloud during this whole thing and also access my ITunes account (store) on my other macs, I'm figuring this was some strange anomaly.

  • Since upgrading to ios 6 and itunes 11 i have lost my usb tethering for the personal hotspot?

    Hi,
Since upgrading today to IOS 6 and itunes 11 I have lost my USB tether. Wifi and Bluetooth work just not USB. I have reset the network setting to no avail? Any advice?

I recommend taking it into the store.  Sounds to me like you have downloaded an app that has allowed itself to become the "primary" when sending and recieving images....  Apple is seriously dropping the ball!!  Just the other day, I downloaded an app called v-downloader...  Its an app that allows you to download videos through a 3rd party browser.  Well what it did, was automatically place restrictions on my phone...  I couldnt send pics, and it removed access to safari, facetime, messages, etc... so maybe try removing any recent app purchases.  Also, I would reccomend that you restore your phone.  it will redo the update off your computer and come through with less glitches
But I agree, iOS6 has been nothing but problems... I plan on removing the update when I get home

How to restore my contact since iPhone 5 need iTunes 10.7 and I am using Mac OS X 10.5.8 which not able to install the iTunes 10.7
    PS:
When I try to update my iTunes it suggested it is current.
When I installed iTunes 10.7 dmg manually it said "This software requires Mac OS X version 10.6.8 or later."
How to install iTunes by ignoring this OS checked? Or how to restore my contact to my new iPhone 5
I think I do not want to upgrade my OS or my Macbook because this Mac is still working fine and I have no reason to upgrade it.
    Thanks So much

  • UPGRADING TO 7.6 AND ITUNES WON'T WORK ANYMORE

When i tried to upgrade itunes to itunes 7.6 the installation and everything went smoothly, however when it was finished i went to open itunes and every time i do so something comes up saying itunes is configuring with windows. It always ends in saying there was an installation problem. I've done everything along the lines of uninstalling and restoring my computer. PLEASE somebody tell me what I did wrong?!? I NEED MY ITUNES!

I did a system restore under the accessiblity option under accesories in the start menu.
It took a very long time but it at least let me get my itunes back with no errors.
I'm not sure what the problem was but now it's working so i'm not complaining.
I'm not updating to 7.6 until I absolutelly have to. Hopefully, they will work out all the kinks before I have to update to it.

  • Issues with Lion upgrade - 2-finger gestures and iTunes

I have a late 2008 13-inch aluminum-body MacBook. Until yesterday I had Snow Leopard installed. Yesterday I upgraded to Lion and installed the updates, So I'm running 10.7.1. I have had two issues already:
    1) Two-finger trackpad gestures do not work. Three- and Four-fingered gestures are working fine. I tried the unselect-reboot-reselect fix that worked for others, and it didn't help. Basically, I can't use gestures to scroll, which is exceedingly annoying.
    2) I updated iTunes to the current version. My iTunes library has reverted to a version from 2008. None of my app purchases, TV show purchases, podcast downloads, etc. since that time are showing up in iTunes, even after I connected my Store account. The store says I have no new purchases to download. Additionally, iTunes does not seem to recognize the iPod Touch that I've been using with this computer since I purchased it several years ago - it says that the iPod is connected to a different iTunes library and cannot sync unless I wipe the whole thing.
My iTunes library is located on an external hard drive, but I can't seem to locate the actual "Library" file to fix iTunes.
    Any ideas?

I just updated tonight and have exact same problem. . No more gestures with 2 fingers etc.

  • Downloaded the latest iTune upgrade on my labtop and iTunes will not open?

It used to work fine before the upgrade.  Now it will not open on my notebook--sorry not laptop.  I even re-installed it, but no help.

Do you get an error message when you try to launch iTunes? If so, what does it say? (Precise text, please.)

  • Upgraded to V 7 and iTunes won't start

    I get the following massage:
    iTunes.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x10001040" referenced memory at "0x10001040". The memory could not "read"
    OK to terminate program
    CANCEL to debug.
    I have unistalled several times
    rebooted every time
    installed from my original cd
    and finally got nowhere....
Anyone that has seen this knows what the fix is?

The instruction at "0x10001040" referenced memory at "0x10001040". The memory could not "read"
of all things, that one usually indicates a broken QuickTime (especially in itunes versions 5.0.x and 6.0.x).
let's first try a careful standalone QT 7.1.3 install.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1.3 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
Quicktime 7.1.3 Installers … get the one that doesn’t mention itunes
if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

  • Upgraded to Lion (fine) and iTunes 10.4 crashes during upgrade (while cleaning up)... ??

Any suggestion to a work-around or just stick with iTunes 10.3.1 until this is resolved ???

In my case, I found a solution!!
    1. In Application Folder, Find iTunes -> press "command + i" -> Select "Open In 32 bits Mode"
    2. Then I can open iTunes!!!
Second, I found that because I opened iTunes in fullscreen mode, that caused crash after.
After I turned iTunes in normal size, it can be opened in 64 bits mode.
    Hope this will hope!

  • HT4623 Just upgraded to iOS7 on IPhone and ITunes Stores crashes.....how can i fix this?

Just upgraded to iOS7.02 and ITunes crashes. How can I fix this?

    Hi leslie,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
To address this issue, I would suggest restarting and/or resetting the iPhone:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
If that does not resolve the issue, refer to page 146 in the iPhone User Guide to Reset All Settings:
iPhone User Guide for iOS 7
