Upgraded to 7.6 and still can't download itunes plus songs
iTunes requests that I upgrade to a newer version in order to purchase iTunes Plus songs. I've downloaded the 7.6 version about 10 times and still get the message that I need to upgrade. What's up???
Did you actually install the new version or just download it?

If you're in the USA, it would be hard to zero balance a gift card just with purchases as there are sales taxes in most areas that you don't know the amount of until the purchase is complete. My guess is that the issue is with the last purchase, there wasn't enough credit left on the card to cover the sales tax.

Still can't download iTunes 11.1
Hi guys... i just downloaded iOS 7 for my iPhone5 and now can't download iTunes 11.1 for my MacBook Air OS X (10.7.4). After clicking download button, it redirects me to the Thank You page.
Anybody got same problem?
I know from current discussion that the Apple server seemed to be very busy on Sept 18th while million of users are downloading at the same time (maybe). But today is Sept 22nd. Any clue that the problem still persists?
pls... I can't sync my devices and have lot's work to do before Monday.

Did you try in the App Store app of your Mac and search for upgrades? iTunes should appear there.
If not, I'd suggest you to clear all cookies from Safari and try again or try to download from a different browser you may have installed.

Can not download iTunes Match songs on my Mac. iPhone, iPad work fine.
I can not download iTunes Match songs on my Mac. It gives an error stating that only one Apple ID can be used at a time with iTunes Match and asks me to wait 72 days until I can download any songs!? Tried to turn off iTunes Match in an attempt to reset it. And now I can't turn it back on. Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm pretty sure the songs will need to be physically present on the computer you are syncing the Nano with, but I'm not 100% sure.
Edit: I just attempted to sync music that I have stored in the iCloud, but not written on my harddrive to an iPod Classic and it only syncs the music that is present on the computer. I tried to grab a few iCloud file and throw it on the iPod, but I had to download them before it would work.
So, yes. You do have to have the files already downloaded to sync to a non iOS 5 iDevice. -

Downloading iTunes Plus song upgrades problem - network connection msg
I recently upgraded to iTunes 10.1. I also purchased the iTunes plus song upgrades for most of my library. When I try to download these upgrades, I get the same message, which is something like "iTunes Network Connection Time Out". However, I have purchased new songs since and been able to download without issue. I have tried all of the following fixes with no avail.
-Uninstall and Reinstall
-disabled firewall completely
-Flushed DNS Cache
None of the above have had any impact on the problem. If I cannot fix this, I will contest the charge for the upgrade with my bank since no one at Apple has been able to help.I am having the exact same problem. I tried contacting Apple support - I explained my problem and provided the info from running Diagnostics. What I got in return was a cut-and-paste answer about being sure to log in and check my cables, as well as " please note that the iTunes Store cannot investigate every user's connection issue". So what's the point of sending an email in the first place? I'm very frustrated - my iTunes plus upgrade was over $400, and it was billed to my credit card weeks ago while I've been trying to get this solved. I am about to call my bank as well.

I am unable to download iTunes to my computer. It uses a genuine edition of Windows 7 and I use Google Chrome but once it has downloaded and I click to run it comes up with 'package cannot be verified'. I also tried to download through Internet Explorer but I got the same result. Thank you for any help.

I had firefox months ago but due to computer problems had to remove it but now I can't redownload it because it keeps prompting me to reboot to complete a previous uninstall but when I allow it to it reboots the computer than nothing happens so I try to download again and it still says reboot have rebooted 6 times and it still won't let me download.
yes I am. windows isn't giving me any prompts other than the original one authorizing firefox to run the installation program before the download starts then part way into the download firefox asks me to reboot so the download it starting then it tells me I can't finish the download because I have to reboot because of a previous uninstall that needs to complete so when I reboot it should finish the installation but it doesn't and then when I try the download again I get the same thing again like it's stuck in a loop

I need HELP! I uploaded the latest version of Itunes and had trouble. I followed the directions and removed all the dll files to the desktop. I un-installed and tried re-installing Itunes and it still won't work. There are no previous versions found on my computer. HELP!!! I need my ITUNES BACK!
MSVCR80.dll is the error message I recieved. I followed the directions and removed all dll files from the folder and to the desktop as instructed.

Still can't download iTunes purchases, please help! incorrectly says "network connection timed out"
I've been trying for 4 days to download purchased media from iTunes and I keep getting this error message "The network connection timed out." I assure you my internet connection works perfectly.
Not sure if this is relevant, but this error spontaneously happened after my most recent purchase on the night of 2/10. I was able to download some iTunes extras right before I made the most recent HD movie purchase, and as soon as I tried to download that, nada!
Here's what I've already tried, but has NOT worked:
-re-opening iTunes
-restarting computer (several times)
-deleting tmp files
-disabling antivirus ware & firewalls
-deleting & re-installing iTunes
If anyone has any other ideas to help me out, I'm all ears!

Still can't get iTunes to open
After help from this DB I uninstalled every part of my iPod Nano and iTunes from my computer, re-installed everything and still can't get iTunes to open. It thinks about it and then just doesn't open, doesn't run, nothing. I even tried going on iTunes on here and surfing around and can't get the Music Store to open. If I click on it, it opens for 1/2 a second and then flips back to the main page. Any thoughts? Sorry to be such a PITA. I'm just frustrated with a new iPod and no music.
Okay, it seems I am not the only one with this problem. Sorry... did not see the other post until I typed this. But this is frustrating. Anyone know if I can use a later version and still use my Nano?
