Upgraded to firefox 3.6.3 now it wont open when I click on it

I upgraded to the new firefox saved the application and when I click on the Icon to open the browser it doesn't open. I have tried to uninstalled and re-installed it as well and it still won't open.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.
Now try to launch iTunes.
Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)?

I have to click the link several time before it will load and sometimes when they do load it does not show the page right. It is like the HTML is messed up or something. I have tried everything I can think of. I started in safe mode, still did it., I removed add-ons, still did it., I reset Firefox and still did it., I completely uninstalled Firefox and re-installed Firefox and it still does it. I have tried Malware Bytes Anti-Malware scans and Avast boot-time scans and found no malware or viruses. I have found that those websites open the first time with no problems on my IE9 and they used to do so in Firefox 26.0. I'm at my wit's end. The website links are in my bookmarks and are used all the time so they are trusted and my avast is set to allow them. They range from news websites to gun websites and everything I have read says that Mozilla does not filter those unless something has changed recently.

Having upgraded to Firefox 24 it will now not start at all after clicking on the icon. My OS is Windows Vista premium. It will start in safe mode.

Upgraded to Firefox 24 and now nothing at all works despite uninstalling and reinstalling it several times and losing all my bookmarks etc. However it does start in safe mode. At first I thought it was my security Norton 360 but after 2 hours in contact with them I'm still in the same position. When I double click on the Firefox icon I can see the cursor timing out and then it just disappears and nothing loads.
My OS is Windows Vista Premium and I am using Windows internet explorer at the moment.

Did you already try to reset your phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting the phone.

After upgrading to Firefox 8 on Mac and while in gmail when I click on a msg to open it all I get is an advertisment; not the msg text. Help.

Happens when try to open any gmail msg, older saved or new received msgs.

I had the same problem and finally noticed it had to do with AdBlock Plus. When Adblock is switched off, the messages were viewed correctly.

Upgrade to Snow Leopard from Tiger - Front Row wont open when eyeTV open.

Hi,
Following a recent upgrade in the operating system I am having a few problems: -
1. The remote doesn't work when EyeTV (Eye Diversity to be exact) is open but I'm not watching TV. This is a problem because EyeTV is designed to be open ready for use with the TV remote. I have to open another programme in front of EyeTV for the remote to work.
2. The iMac seems slow to open programmes or to respond from waking. Is this just a normal feature of Snow Leopard?
Overall I like Snow Leopard but at this rate I'd be better off going back to Tiger.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.

Report any errors it has.
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

I downloaded firefox, now it wont open, and i have tried re-downloading and it wont work, and i have recent windows.

i tried to update, and now it wont open. when i try to re-download, it tells me that i have to shut down firefox, and that its already running so it wont install. when i click the icon to make firefix start, nothing happens. this is true of my desktop shortcut, and also in the start menu.

I had same problem too. Sometimes Firefox cannot start its interface but its task does run. I can try to turn it off by Windows Task Manager (end process firefox.exe) then start Firefox again. Or else remove it and install again. Hope this help

I ended up putting it in DFU mode. It's kinda hard to tell it was in DFU mode because nothing showed on the screen, it was just black, but the sounds from the computer helped to tell me it was connected.
Itunes still didn't recognize the device for whatever reason.
So I used redsn0w. I don't know if I can say that on these forums, but considering itunes was worthless at this point I am going to give credit where credit is due.
Now I am giving itunes a second chance to upgrade to 5.1, if it doesn't work, well, back to redsnow and maybe I will even jailbreak it this time rather than just using the fecovery fix found under extras.

Upgraded from 10.3.9 to 10.4.8 and now Logic wont open at all! Im using Logic 7.1 Everything was fine till I upgraded.... Now when I click to open Logic it never gets past the startupscreen, and then I get a message saying "Logic has unuexpectedly quit" and I get an option to either close it or restart it or report it to apple, whatever option I choose freezes Logic and I have to right click it in the dock to end the program because it is not responding. Any help is really appreciated! I have wirk I need to get done! (teaches me to upgrade in the middle of a project... what a rookie mistake!)
