Upgraded to firefox 5 but it wont start up on my desktop

I up graded from firefox 3.6 to firefox 5 and now it will not work on my computer. I have tried to start it and nothing happens. I have tried everything on the troubleshooting web site to no avail. I have tried now loading 4 and it won't work either. I have had to switch to Google Chrome. I lost all my bookmarks. I am really disappointed, I have used Firefox for years...

Hi, Ive managed to downlade LR CC but it wont start, ive tryed to log out and in, but it still doesnt work...
What do i do now?
Im a bit desperate to get this up and going again... And would be superhappy if anyone could help me:)

Enable Hidden Files and folders option .
Open C:drive and locate folder named Program Data. ( wlll be hidden by default)
Navigate to C:drive >Program Data>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and locate folder named SLStore and rename it to SLStore-old
Once you had renamed SLStore folder , follow below steps :
Navigate to C: > Program Files(x86) > Common Files>Adobe .
open Adobe folder and locate folder named SLCache .
Open SLCache folder and move all its contents to backup folder on Desktop .
Then try to launch Lightroom cc 2015 from App tab menu in Creative Cloud app .

Entering DFU Mode (Official Instructions)
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
Make sure the device screen is blank and no logos are present
Exiting DFU Mode
Hold Home and Power Button till the Apple Logo appears

Hi, I'm using the version that came on the CD - 6.0
Here is what I have done so far:
1. Run the install disk
2. Activated the serial number - you can see that on my account
3. Installed the software.
I tried to run it, but when I do I get the follwoing message
4. I then tried to run the Adobe Application Manager and it crashed, here is a screen shot
5. I clicked the reopen button and it starts.
6. I downloaded the update, but it still wont run.
7. When I finally get the Application Manager to run again I get this message.
8. Then I retsarted my laptop.
8. I uninstalled the software, reinstalled it, did the updates again, restarted it and it still won't work.

Installing the appropriate combo update may help this issue....
For Snow Leoparrd v10.6 >    Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
For Lion v10.7 >   OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo)
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed. Then try the App Store.

Wont let me install facebook, facebook messenger or spotify apps, i use to have facebook messenger and facebook app on my ipod and now its saying i have to upgrade to ios 6, but it wont let me upgrade!!!!!!

i use to have facebook, facebook messenger on my ipod touch, and recently i upgraded to ios and now it wont let me reinstall the apps, says i need to upgrade to atleast ios 6, but it wont let me ugrade to ios 6 says it has no upgrades, that the current version is the newest!!! this is crap... how can something work and then now it doesnt work when its suppose to be improved??

When you formatted the drive, before installing OSX, did you click Options on the Partition and select Mac GUID Bootable ?
Just because it mounts as an external does not mean it's a bootable Volume ...

originally, i upgraded directly frm firefox site and it launched. then after shutting down, it has not loaded up since. i have deleted the old firefox off my laptop and attempted to re-install, but no luck. it still does not load up.

Just for starters see if you can get Firefox going. Instead of double Left clicking, Right click on Firefox icon>Open.
If that doesn't work, try opening via Firefox in the Start Menu or Programs List. If that works try creating a new desktop icon.
Then you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode - Hold down the Shift Key as you double click on the Icon> don't check any of the boxes on the page that appears>Continue. You have now disabled all extensions and also Hardware Acceleration.
Make sure your plug-ins such as Flash are up-to-date.

I upgraded to firefox 4 but it is not suitable for my version of Mac Os and don't know how to get the previous version of firefox back!

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox (ie 4) on my Apple laptop, but the fact that it is "unsuitable for (my version of) Mac Os " was not revealed to me until I had already replaced the previous version which was suitable. I don't know how to retrieve the version I was using.

Upgraded to Firefox 7 but FF logo is missing in Dock (Mac OS 10.6.8)- How do I get it back?

When I upgraded to latest version of Firefox, the logo disappeared in dock and is replaced with some generic version (i.e. white page with Application "A"). The logo still shows up when I view FF in the Applications folder. I've tried dragging and dropping it back in the dock (from applications folder to the dock) but it didn't work. Still just generic logo. Firefox opens and seems to run fine... but I would like to see the logo back. Any suggestions?

After upgrading to firefox 9.0, will not start. Error message says MOZCRT19.dll is missing.

Runnng Windows 7 anf Firefox 6. Upgraded to 9.0. Error message says try reinstalling to fix problem . Have tried with no success. Uninstalled all firefox programs and did a clean install with same error message appearing when I tried to start up.
