Upgraded to ios 5, my deleted emails are all back
I updated to 5.0.1 and now all the deleted emails I had are back. I delete them and there are 50 more. UGH!!!
Go to: Settings>Mai.....>the account(s) in question>Advanced>and change the Deleted from server setting to what you want (never?)

Hello waybk,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I have upgrade my phone to iOS7 and my company recently upgraded to Exchange 2010. My emails are not synching to my inbox. I can only see my Sent items. I have already deleted the account 3 times but this did not fix the inbox problem.
You need to have a different Apple ID for each of the other devices.

Deleted emails are duplicating in trash
deleted emails are duplicating in trash
I am using an Exchange email account. I recently cleaned out my inbox from work. I am showing zero unread emails from my Exchange account from my desktop at work. However, my iPhone 4 (after 2 days and 3 attempts to sync) is still showing 143 unread emails and I cannot access these alleged emails from my phone. It simply shows "143" on my mail icon from the home screen. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Does upgrading to iOS 8.1 delete your voicemails?
I'm using iOS 8. Does upgrading to iOS 8.1 delete the voicemails on your phone?
YYou would need to know your voicemail passcode and enter it and your voice mail will be intact.
you can get that info from your phone carrier. -
Upgraded iPhone 4 to IOS 5 the default tones are all cut?
I upgraded iPhone 4 to IOS 5 the default tones are all cut short now example is the choo choo just does a single choo. Also all of my custom ringtones were all messed up had to replace them too.
I was searching around to find out why this was happening to my wife's phone after the iOS 5 upgrade. Kinda really sad on Apple's part. Almost all of the text message tones sound broken now. We thought something went wrong in the upgrade. Too bad.

My incoming emails are bouncing back to senders. Administrator says the user account is temporarily over quota. I have emptied all trash and most of the inbox and have rebooted, but still am not getting emails. Any suggestions?
have you tried deleting emails directly on your webmail? see if it works

When i delete my conversations on my iphone 4s my messages will not send, then i restart my phone and yhe are all back, what can i do about this?
Same way it works with any computer...when you delete something, the data isn't actually deleted, just the pointers to the data. As you use your device, the data gets overwritten, since the iOS views it as "free" space..
If you want the data truly gone, you need to erase your phone. Same way it works on any computer. -
This has only occurred since the last update. I delete my e-mails. The next time I log on all the e-mails I had deleted the last time are all back in the inbox. I then have to delete them all a second time before they are gone for good. This is very annoying since it can often be as many as fifty or sixty e-mails at a time. How can I fix this?
Are you talking about the Inbox?
deleted emails can reappear where a folder may have some corruption. This is usually due to keeping too many emails in the Inbox and not compacting on a regular basis.
Make a copy of any emails in that folder which you do not want to lose; perhaps store them in Local Folders.
then delete the emails.
then compact the folder. - right click on folder and select 'Compact'.
If you lost any emails due to compacting, then do not worry because you saved a copy of the ones you wanted to keep in Local folders, so you can move them back.
Select the 'Deleted' folder, right click on folder and choose to 'Empty Deleted'.
then right click on Deleted folder and select 'Compact'.
Emails should now be deleted.
Note: the Inbox should be used as an Inbox and not a general storage.
Please read helpful information on how to maintain a healthy Thunderbird and also read information on compacting, what it does and why it is important.

Does icloud delete email on all devices
Does icloud delete email on all devices?
iCloud doesn't. Whether or not this happens depends on the type of email account you are using. If you are using an IMAP email account such as iCloud email, Gmail or Yahoo, or an Exchange email account, when you delete an email (or read one or move it to a folder) on one device you will see these changes on your other devices. If, on the other hand, you are using a POP/POP3 email account, you won't see these changes on your other devices.

My file folders are still visible, but most of the emails I saved have disappeared. My inbox emails are all highlighted as if I have never opened them. Is Thunderbird crashing??

Deleted emails keep coming back on my iPad Air
Deleted emails keep coming back on my ipad air
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.
