Upgraded to IOS 7 and phone sometimes rings and sometimes doesn't. What's going on? I've missed several calls but my phones been sitting right in front of me (Yes, the sound switch is turned on on the side)

Your phone might be on do not disturb mood... So, when it's locked, you receive no calls. If you see a crescent at the top of your screen, go to setting, do not disturb, and turn off the manual

I bought my 6 plus last night decided to upgrade the IOS 8 like they suggest and now all I see is a white screen with the apple sign in the middle with an occasional flashing red screen. Did my new phone seriously just crash? What do I do now? I left it overnight with the white screen, thinking maybe it'll go away and needs time to upgrade. First turn the iPhone off and back on and see if it works. If that doesn't work then do a Reset by holding the Sleep / Wake Button (The Power Button) and the Home Button at the same time until the white Apple Logo appears, the release both Buttons and wait until a Full Reset occurs. The iPhone 6 should come back to your Lock-Screen. If that doesn't work then you could connect the iPhone 6 via the Lightning Cable to a Computer with a Current Version of iTunes. Then open iTunes on the Computer and wait until your see a Button that represents your attached iPhone and click on it. This should bring up a Summary Screen on the Computer within iTunes. At that point your can choose Update Software if an Update is available or Restore the iPhone to Factory Settings / New In The Box, or you could try to Restore from your Backup if a current Backup had already been saved from a previous iPhone.
If you don't have a computer with iTunes and you can get the iPhone back on, then go to Settings>General>Software Update and see if the iPhone is still on iOS 8.0 or if it is now on iOS 8.0.2 -

IPad 1 Safari crashes frequently. I went to many Apple stores in different countries and each Apple staff member had their own different opinions with no help. I had upgraded my iOS to 5.1.1 and the Safari crashing started about one year after the upgrade and some Apple staff blame this- but this started one year later after the iOS upgrade. Recently at the Apple Store in Vancouver an Apple staff reset my computer (erased everything and sent to iCloud to reset the iPad) and I hoped this would fix the problem. IPad Safari still crashes. Short of booking an appointment for taking it for repair to Apple technicians which will cost me money can anyone help me to fix this Safari crashing.

If you are using a USB hub, try disconnecting and restarting with just your keyboard and mouse connected.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...
from the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.

It contains fixes that might help. Then repair disk permissions.
Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

By the way, Mattban and Sancasslano, are either of you also experiencing any of the following issues:
* Problems with Contacts either crashing or listing no names
* Problems with turning iCloud on or off for application under Settings->iCloud... On both mine I just get a pop up saying that iCloud is being turned off but Contacts then just locks up.
* General problems when trying to synch applications on the iPad or iPhone over iCloud?
I am wondering if all these issues are in someway related to and whether it is worth trying to turn off iCloud somehow, though I cannot work out how this can be done once set up. -
I have the i phone 3G version 3.1.3. I am currently upgrading to the i phone 4 GS and want to transfer all data from old phone!
Unfortunatly my 3G will not sync to i tunes :( and I don't want to lose all my photos etc!

I just finished my multi-device upgrade to iOS X. Now, Keynote freezes and is basically dysfunctional. Anyone else have this problem?
What did you upgrade? There is no such thing as iOS X, there is iOS and OS X. iOS is for iphones, ipads, and ipods and OS X is the Mac operating system.

Well last night after I had got off the phone it had froze up (never happened before) and then it it went blank. I would call it from my house phone and it would ring and vibrate but nothing showed up on the screen. I don't know where to go from here I just need desperate help. Please and thank you!
Try doing a hard reset, Hold the "Home & Power Buttons" down at same time, until you see the Apple Icon appear. Then let go of the buttons.

I regret upgrading to IOS 8 now because I cannot see the artwork for my video's. That is the only reason I downloaded them through iTunes because I liked the way they displayed the art work of the video. Now all I get is a gray box with the title in small letters below. I hope they fix it.

Close iTunes
1) Plug in Device
2) Go to Device Manager/Portable Device
3) Right click- update driver
4) Browse my computer
5) Let me pick from list
6) Click Have Disk
7) Type in, or look for C:\Program Files
8) Go to Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device\Support Drivers
9) Dbl-CLick "usbaapl" file - let it do it's thing, until status bar is finished
Unplug Device- Open iTunes- plug in device- should work!

I used my appleid on my husband's phone. Our contacts merged, both phones ring and he sees my texts. I deleted his contacts from my phone and they deleted from his phone also. How can I get my appleid off his phone and retrieve his contacts?

Bad mistake. You shouldn't have used your Apple ID on his phone. And you made it worse because now the contacts are gone, as you deleted them from your phone, they got deleted on iCloud. Your husband should have his Apple ID.
There is really no way of recovering the deleted contacts unless you backed up using iTunes and even then you will only be able to recover those contacts that were on a call list. Read here:

Phone not ringing and voicemail notifications on SMS not occurring
Can someone help with this issue as it is beginning to drive me nuts ! Phone is not ringing and any voicemail message is not being notified by SMS. This seems to have been happening since late 2013 but can't be sure of that. Is this a SIM card issue, or a possible software issue.

I would do a security wipe on the device first:

Once the wipe is complete you can restore your backup. Keep in mind that data in the backup may be the source of the original problem and restoring it may restore the problem, as well. To alleviate this I recommend not restoring the Settings portion of the backup.

How can i upgrade system IOS images of routers, switches and firewalls

I am very much surprised and less of understanding yet how Cisco's licensing program or IOS upgrades are done. I have many routers, switches & ASA's of whom i wan to upgrade the IOS's but i cannot do so. How ever i can download those images from internet but i want to know how can i do this from Cisco as i don't want to trust those IOS's available over internet.
As per my study what i have found that i need to have Cisco Service Contract number for that devices so that i can download updated IOS Images for them.
Someone kindly explain what are the best methods for the above requirements.

@MohammedYou're correct regarding a service contract. Cisco calls this Smartnet support. It includes both hardware support (i.e. returns for failed hardware), software support (including right to download and upgrade your software) and technical assistance (via the Cisco TAC). Smartnet is charged separately for each covered device. Once you have it, your cisco.com userid needs to be associated with your service contract number. Doing that will then allow you to download the software from cisco.com. (There are some very limited cases in which you don't have to have a support contract - mostly when there is a security advisory (PSIRT) indicating the Cisco software was flawed as it was initially released.)
Every product (or product family) has a product support page on cisco.com. That page includes release notes, configuration guide, users guides, and a link to software downloads for that product. Start by reading the release notes and determining which (if any) upgrade is appropriate for your product. Then you can download and upgrade the software as necessary. -
