Upgraded to iOS6 on iPhone 4 iPad2 "Exchange" email issues

After upgrading to iOS6 on both of my devices, I downloaded all my emails (I have a lot) from my exchange email account. Was extremely slow. When opening an email, takes a long time to display email. Tried reboot, did not fix problem, in fact it erased all the emails that I had downloaded from the exchange server and I had to download them all again. Help!

Same exact problem here with my 3GS. SMTP or IMAP email will not update since upgrade to iOS6, but can send email and attach photos via phone email. When I ask it to update email, it does the little spinny circle thing, but never stops. Can access gmail account via Safari on the phone & see current messages. Have tried restarting phone & turning off & on the account with settings. I only have one account that all my messages feed through, so there's not a lot to go wrong.

The attachment is an .xls excel 97-2003 spreadsheet. I viewed the file in the email and did not edit it with any software. I can forward the file to anyone that is may want to check it out to see if they can help me. I was wondering if there was some way of forcing another ios6 install on my phone and maybe that would solve it.
Is there anyone out there that is viewing .xls files in email using ios6 w/o any other software installed like numbers or any other add ons? I am not upgrading my ipad from ios5 to ios6 so I can still continue to view the emails on my ipad. Is there an email viewer .xls plug-in that will be availablle in the next ios6 update?

Actually all are affected, but i manage to solved it running Virtual test version to trace the issue and finally able to fix it. Thanks for asking.

TS3899 Problem with e-mails after upgrade to IOS6 on iPhone 4S

I can no longer sync my e-mails (Yahoo) on my iPhone 4S after I upgraded to IOS6. It was fine with my previous version of IOS5...
I tried all of the methods suggested already (restarting device, deleting and adding mail account again) but still no luck.
Is this a bug I can fix?

Its not the carriers its the IOS 7.0.2. I never had this problem until I did this darn update. Im getting mad and about to go back to the samsung. My hubby has the same iphone 4s but didnt do the update and has no problems. Apple needs to fix this fast or Im trashing this phone

Iphone 4 deletes exchange emails if they are read on desktop

My iphone 4 is receiving my exchange emails but as soon as I read the emails on my desktop computer, my phone deletes them. I do not have Outlook set to view "unread" messages only. It is set to read all messages. It was working fine last week until we switched to a new Exchange server. Three other people in our office have the same iphone 4 and their exchange accounts are working fine. Same thing happens on my ipad so it has to be an outlook setting somewhere. I would 1st speak to your corporate IT department maybe there is a setting within outlook that needs to be set, as far as you iPhone I would go into setting>Mail> tap the account in question>advanced there is a delete from server setting there you may want to disable.

Exchange Email Issues

Hello Guys,
been trying to setup my exchange email on my new iphone 4. I got all the details from my IT department. Setup is complet, it sync'd the following:
- calendar (all up do date)
- contacs (all up to date)
- email folders (all up to date)
but no emails in the folders; it only shows emails in the deleted folder! I keep getting "can't get mail, the connection to the server failed".

i also have encountered a similar issue following upgrade to 4.1, i can no longer connect to my exchange account using vodafone but work ok with wifi? i also get same message. I have had no problem up until upgrade

IPad / exchange email issue.

My exchange email on my iPad constantly says I have three unread emails. There are no unread emails on my iphone or iMac outlook mail systems. Any thoughts how to fix this would be welcome.

Since your mail is tied to the Exchange server and probably an IMAP account there is no way to do this in Airplane mode and remain in sync.

Exchange email issue

I am having an issue with my exchange email inbox. When I'm in Mailboxes, i am not getting a count for how many emails i have in my exchange account. I can see the number in my Comcast account as well as the All Inboxes. Can anyone help with this? Thank you.

Microsoft Exchange - email issues

There are 5 of us at work that have the Iphone 3G. I was the only one that already had an Itunes account and an apple laptop. After I connected the phone with my powerbook, all worked fine for about 12 hours. At that point my email account went blank (white screen on the Iphone) although my calendar and contacts were still on the phone. The longest I've went is 40 hours before it happened again. The others created Itunes accounts on our work computers and then synced the phone up and all has worked well. I'm the only one that is having a problem.
Yesterday, I downloaded Itunes to my work computer, erased everything on my Iphone and then synced it with my work computer. It worked for a whopping 10 hours before I got the white screen of death again. It has happened again today.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I love the Iphone but it is getting old deleting my account on the phone and then resetting them again. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Is this only happening each and every-time the Exchange account is added?
I know you are in a business and rely on email. But if this is happening with Exchange. Could you possible test the iPhone without the Exchange account for a day and see if it does the same thing?
You state you restored iPhone. Did you restore from backup or as new iPhone? If you chose backup there is a possibility whatever it backed up that has been causing this was since returned.

After upgrade to iOS6, my iphone is not charging

I just upgrade OS of my iPhone4s to iOS6.0.
During upgrade first upgrade failed with unknown error (6).
After that I restore my iphone from backup and I got most of my stuff from backup (except lot of apps).
Now it is not charging my iPhone.
Not sure if someone else also got same issue?

I am able to resolve it, after restart of my laptop. Now there is no issue.
I was using most of my available space in iPhone (hardly free about 100MB), that might be cause of initial failure of upgrade and some how, anti-virus software might have block itune.

After upgrade to iOS6 my iPhone deletes sms-tickets, notifications etc.

After updating my iPhone to iOS 6 all my old tickets and other "notifications" I got as SMS was deleted when I tried to re-open them. Why?
Will the phone be able to receive and keep new SMS-tickets/notifications? This is a vital functionality since I only use SMS-tickets/notifications when traveling or getting a reminder from e.g. the postoffice that I have a package to collect etc.

Mine works fine. You might want to try a restore on the phone.

I have tried different solutions , reset the network settings , resetting all settings , nothing helped. I am able to send txt messages and receive txt medsages (not send thru imessage) i can use internet via 3G - but i just cant make calls. Everytime i try - it immediatly replys - "call ended"

Has nothing to do with the carrier - tried tree different with 3 different sim cards
