Upgraded to latest Os 6.1.2, keep asking for iTunes. Can not reset.

I just updated to OS 6.1.2.  The USB icon appears on the screen asking to be connected to iTunes.  I can not hook it up to the computer now.  Is there anything I can do to roll back update?  I can not use the iPad now.

I am afraid you have to connect to iTune to Restore/Recover your iPad.

Windows 8. I've bought one movie, but on the second try, the Code redemption keeps asking for my password.
    Thanks for your advice.

    Me too.
It is asking me for my iTunes password too often.
I would be okay with it _if it was just for when I hit UPDATE for an application, or buy a new one_... but it seems like it's constantly asking for my iTunes password.

  • I cannot upgrade itunes keeps asking for itunes.msi

Tried to install upgrade to ITunes, asked for the file "ITunes.msi, could not find. Tried to remove it from control panel and asked for the same file. Looked up and followed the instructions, Tried to do an fresh download and it stilled asked me for the same file. Did a search and the file was not to be found.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Keeps asking for iTunes password

Every once in a while when I unlock the iPad, it asks me for my iTunes password. I think that it might be related to a movie rental download that I have paused (probably because this problem has been popping up ever since I paused the download), but I don't know for sure. Any ideas?
    Thanks,

HI and welcome to Apple Discussions...
First, if you will take a moment and click My Settings and tell us which computer model and which operating system and geographical location for your forum profile. Thanks!
    For password help...
Tap Settings, tap Store, the "View Account". You will probably have to tap "Continue".
    Enter your Apple ID password.
If that doesn't help, go here for help with your account if you are in the U.S. http://store.apple.com/us/help/your_account

  • Keeps asking for PW and not recognizing it. Can't use Thunderbird; used to work fine

Every time I try to send mail I am asked to login. I login and it doesn't recognize the PW. I am able to receive and was able to send as well before you started with more security settings. Since then, I'm unable to send.

Now that you say so it's probably their problem. I don't remember what they sent. Unless there are generic settings I guess I'll have to take it up with them.

  • IBooks keeps asking for iTunes password

Everytime I start reading a book, a little popup window asks for my iTunes passport.
    It's annoying.
It didn't do that in the beginning.
    Any way to stop that.

On your pc go to itunes then to store and select download available downloads.
That should fix it if not then post it

  • Icloud ios8 keeps asking for log in

my iCloud iOS 8 on my new iPhone 6 plus, that I've had for a month, keeps asking for my login not only mine. (also the person I share my cloud family share). I've also experience or my phone partners 6plus has used cellular data instead of the Wi-Fi that it's on, it's strange because I am on the same Wi-Fi with my 6plus so I know that's working. both bought a month ago at ATT. ATT has no information.

If you still have the old MBA, consider wiping the new one, reinstalling the OS using the recovery mode, and on first boot, use the Setup Assistant to do the migration. See Pondini's Setup New Mac guide for details. Eliminates all keychain and ownership issues.

  • Just uploaded latest ios6 to ipad and iphone 4gs and the hotmail account keeps asking for a password then telling me it is invalid.  Any ideas?

Just uploaded latest ios to my ipad2 and iphone 4s and my hotmail account keeps asking for my password. When i input it, it tells me its wrong. Hotmail was working fine till ios upgrade. Any ideas? I have deleted account username and password and reinput but no difference

Try deleting the yahoo email account, and then recreate the account so you are sure all the information is now correct.  I have had email information get corrupted for unknown reasons and found just removing and recreating the account to resolve the issues most of the time.
Check the ports, incoming and outgoing, on your iDevices to be sure the same are used on the iMac.

  • After upgrade to mavericks: time machine keeps asking for my back up disk and won't open unless i plug in the disk. any solutions?

after upgrade to mavericks: time machine keeps asking for my back up disk and won't open unless i plug in the disk. any solutions?
before the upgrade, i could open time machine without the need for having the back up disk plugged in.

Ok. I got it to work, sort of....
As I mentioned before I tried the "disk password" and the "Time capsule Password" options to see if I can start the back up again or start a new backup. Neither worked. So I tried the firmware down grade, but like you said that did not work. I then decided to try the "Account password" option and I have never used this option before becasue it states that if there is data on the drive it would not be acessable after creating an account. Since I wiped out the disk that was nno problem. When I created the new account and choose the drive it asked for the user name and password. I entered the info for the new account I just created(FYI this has nothing to do with your login username and password), bingo! It worked!
Now I have two partitions on the TC disk. The old one and now the new account. I am guessing this is to be used if I have multiple computers, which I don't.
I any case, I am going to wipe out everything again and try again to do a backup the way I had it before.
