Upgraded to new software version - now phone wont work

i use vista - i plugged my phone in today (whihc isnt jailbroken) - it asked to download the new software and install - when trying to install - it wanted the mobile device recovery drivers - i have tried everything sugguested - manually selecting the drivers from common files - also completely reinstalling itunes.
this is a business phone and is now unusable
please help

Can you please explain the steps you took to "activate" your phone again?
I am having this problem:
1) after upgrade to the new software, phone was stuck in recovery mode (usb-itunes picture). Not jailbroken either.
2) have done the "reset" i.e. off button & home button together
2) I reinstalled itunes many times
3) switch usb port many times
4) de-auth / re-auth many times as well as purchased / download free apps (however, unable to sync due to itunes not recognizing the phone)
5) BUT it still won't restore (error codes such as 13, 14 0r 1604)
Can you or any here help me?? Can't use the phone at all. Very frustrating.....

Who installed the new battery? If you had it done by Apple, take it back in. Something is wrong. If you had it done by a 3rd party, take it back to whoever installed the battery. They broke it.

I have the iphone 4 and just updated my phone to the newest software. The download went fine but I realized a little while later that the apps that I have purchased won't open. I replugged it into my computer and syncd it again, but that did not help. When an app such as Facebook or Twitter is clicked on it looks likes it going to open but then just closes. Any suggestions?

Try switching off your seurity software and restore the device http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
NB: using that article will erase everything so make sure you have a backup
try restoring on another computer if this fails, and if that doesn't work either, the device needs hardware repair.

Did you try shutting the phone off and then re-powering it with any results.. ? Give that a try see what it does it may help push the Number through or Try this Dial * 228 send then 1 to reactivate it try that see if that works.. Downloaded app Now phone wont work

When I tried to run it it would not work...Tough luck...Now I find my browser wont work my phone wont work
When I try to use my browser I get a message
THe radio on the device is currently off or the battery is to low for the radio to be used. As a result the browser cannot retrieve any web pages
The phone is fully charged I deleted I heart. I tried turning the phone off, I pulled the battery fo 30 sec. Nothing helped any ideas???

The "radio" on the BB actually refers to the network connections. Go to Manage Connections and Turn all connections on. Let us know how it goes.

Upgraded to Belle from anna now wifi wont work on ...

tried everything but due to some reason wifi wont work on my e7, it was working al well on symbian anna but after the upgrade to *belle* it says connected but gives no browsing ,on the same wifi network my other android phone works well
is there a fix for this ??
nokia can be suchha torture with their upgrades.phew.

Downloaded updated software and now ipod wont work... help please

I downloaded the software and now my ipod touch will not work. It has the itunes logo and the usb cable on the screen and nothing works. I have held down the top right button and the center button and the apple logo comes up, screen goes black and then the itunes and cable pictures are back on the screen

Try "resetting" ...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that didn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
You won't lose any data as a result of a "reset" ...

Migration to new mac and now compressor wont work

after a migration - new 6 core - my final cut studio (2) - doesn't all work. final cut works, but compressor tells me to restart or verify that my instillation is correct. DVD studio doesn't work either....

David is spot on. Follow his advice.
You need to understand that if you were running a G5 - a PowerPC chip computer - and migrate to an Intel chipped computer, the binary code to run the program on the new computer will not be present. Your G5's FCS installation doesn't have any intel code on it. FCS requires intel specific code on intel machines.
Also, you will need FCP v5.1 or higher to run on the intel machine. v5.0 or lower is not supported.
Heck, even migrating pro apps between machines on the same processor can be problematic due to the specificity of the chips and how FCS stashes system files. Sometimes they are not copied over or the frameworks are the wrong one for the processor or version of OSX.
Best practice is to always do a fresh installation from the disks (or disk images) then use software updater to bring it up to the current update.

Tried to install ios 7, now phone wont work!?

I plugged my 4s into the wall and started the ios 7 update. Last I looked it was about half done. My phone must of died during the update, and now it will not turn back on, cant do anything, wont charge, wont turn on, or plug into the computer, only shows empty battery needs charge screen.

After connecting your iPhone to the computer did you restore using the iTunes on your computer?

Just updated to new IPOD files, now it wont work

updated my ipod files to the 1-10-06 files, now nothing works, all i get is a screen showing a wall outlet and the plug...which i dont have, i charge in car or thru my USB connection. none of the buttons work, itunes wont recognize it, and neither will the updater. any help would be most appreciated

Your problem is - you cant do the restore for your iPod as it could not be regonized by your PC. Recently, I discovered a better way, but you need to have a Mac computer (or borrow from a friend), you got better chance to see your iPod got mounted with a Mac when you put your iPod in Disk Mode. Open the Disk Utility in the Mac and do a ERASE (format in MS DOS) and re-connect it with your PC. Then you open the iPod updater in your PC, wait for few minutes and click the RESTORE. Bingo.

IMac 5k Upgraded to 10.10.3 now Bootcamp wont work

So as the title says, I upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.3 and now I can't log into bootcamp at all. It just boots my Mac Operating system rather than my Windows 7. I've tried reinstalling my operating system but that didn't work. I also can't find it in the finder on the sidebar as well as repairing the disk permissions in disk utility. You have 2 solutions:
1 - You can use 2 differents icloud account
2 - You use the same account but you don't sync yours contacts.
You configure that in Settings > icloud
You activate or desactivate what you want.
