Upgraded to OS X Mavericks. Now I no longer have iPhoto or Microsoft Office.

I recently had my hard drive replaced and upgraded to OS X Mavericks. Now I no longer have iPhoto or Microsoft Office. Do I have to purchase them again?

If you have them on a backup of your system you can restore them from there. If your system shipped with Snow Leopard or earlier then you should have an applications DVD that came with it, which would have iPhoto on it. IF your sytem shipped with Lion or later then you can download iPhoto from the Mac App Store from the purchases tab.
