Upgraded to ver 12 and problems, problems...
I have a ipod 160 gb classic and the new version of Itunes won't let me sync my Ipod. Also since version 10 my playlists are all screwed up and there are missing songs, some of which I purchased. Are they on my computer somewhere?
Apple products are really getting me and I am currently searching the market for a mp3 player that works and isn't so controlled.
Any suggestions?

iPhone 5S running iOS 8.1, iTunes running 12.0.1. Windows 8 PC (fully updated)
AFTER downloading iOS 8.0, previous syncs would partially sync playlist (not all songs, or just the Pic icon for video files but no video files themselves and would show overloaded GB storage while syncing and stop syncing)
Recent patch seemed to fix it.
NOW after 'upgrading' iOS and iTunes, making sure Apple Mobile Device Driver (AMDD) is installed and working, updating PC drivers, uninstalling, rebooting, and/or restarting multiple times and in different combinations for the last 3 days the following: iPhone, iTunes, PC, AMDD, as well a doing every 'online' fix/suggestion I can find, i.e, switch off WiFi/Handoff/WiFi Sync, everything the iTunes Help suggest, reset network setting on iPhone.
Currently - iPhone 'seen' on Windows, NOT on iTunes, Can open iPhone in windows to access photo folders, whenever you plug in the Lightning USB it asks the "Trust" question were all familiar with and nothing!
APPLE- Millions of your Customers complaints are falling on deaf ears. This is an issue that seems to get a little worse each iOS update that affects all previous models of phone. DO SOMETHING! SAY SOMETHING!

After upgrading my iPod Touch 4G 64 Gb and iPhone 4G 32 Gb to iOS 5 and installing iTunes 10.5 x64 a one great problem appears, well, when I'm adding songs by drag'n'drop method (auto sync is off) into device(s), for example, a folder which consists 41 tracks, in devices I have a lot of albums with the same name , editing tags with iTunes is not working, in programm tags changes, but in devices - not. The same situation when I'm trying move this folder to my old iTouch 2G 16 Gb!!! ***?! Any suggestions???
With iTunes 10.4 and iOS 4.3.5 the was no this problem ............I have the same problem - drag and drop a playlist into iTunes, and it'll go into the playlist, but NOT into the iTunes library! (How is this even possible? ) As a result, those new songs will never sync to the iPod!

Does the ext directory have the php_oci8.dll? In the original steps the PHP dir is renamed. In the given php.in the extension_dir looks like it has been updated correctly. Since PHP distributes php_oci8.dll by default I reckon there would be a very good chance that the problem was somewhere else. Since this is an old thread I don't think we'll get much value from speculation.

Upgrading to mountain lion and problems with time machine
I recently upgraded from Lion to Mountain Lion. Now Time Machine does these huge hourly backups even when nothing has been updated. When I have VMware running, the update aborts, eventhough nothing in the virtual machine is supposed to be backed up. I am wondering if TM is trying to back up some work files that were created during the conversion. Has anybody seen this before? Any ideas?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the word "Starting" (without the quotes) in the String Matching text field. You should now see log messages with the words "Starting * backup," where * represents any of the words "automatic," "manual," or "standard." Note the timestamp of the last such message. Clear cached web content does not always clear to 0kb, only since upgrading to vers.14, and now 15
Cache would always clear to 0kb before, now it does or not depending
on which websites are visited. What has been changed?Are all tabs closed when you try to clear the cache?<br />

Even though I upgraded through ver 4 and now ver 5 the icon in question has not changed. How can I update this?. I also thought I saw some reference to XP losing support in later versions. Is this correct?
You are showing Fx5. You could check at Help>About Firefox.
My memory is that the desktop icon doesn't change. You could Right click>Properties and change the name to Firefox 5. -

Intel iMac; upgraded adobe flash; bluetooth keyboard no longer pairs but magic mouse still OK. With Bluetooth switched on the screen splits into 4 areas and open windows seperate and shrink. Switch off Bluetooth and problem disappears and iMac works OK with plug-in keyboard and mouse

Sounds like Spaces is being activated somehow. With the wired keyboard and mouse in use, select the Exposé & Spaces control pane in System Preferences, click the choice in that pane for Spaces. See what the settings are. There are some activation settings in that pane - by default, F8 activates it.
It could be that the bluetooth keyboard has some stuck keys and is activating Spaces; or that the activation command has somehow been reset to something that the bluetooth mouse, or bluetooth itself, is triggering. -
After upgrade to iOS 8 and after to 8.0.2 I can't use my iPad because of wifi problem
I am having a similar experience. Since upgrading my Ipad 2 to iOS 8 and then iOS 8.0.2 I have not been able to use wifi consistently and it is very frustrating. I can no longer watch any video because the wifi shuts down and won't come back without a complete reboot of the iPad. And forget about consistent bluetooth! My ipad worked perfect before the "upgrade" to iOS 8 and beyond but now it is really worthless. I have spent a lot of time and have tried every fix that I have read about online and NOTHING has corrected the problems created by the upgrade. After spending a lot of time trying to resolve this I am certain the problem is the buggy "upgrade" but I feel like no one at Apple is listening. I have always loved Apple products but this rotten Apple experience is making me think about exploring what else is out there. Apple folks, I recommend getting this fixed quick or your stockholders won't be smiling!

I restored my settings my I got the new phone but I think I heard that with the iOS 6 updated that can be an issue and it is better to start from scratch rather than restore your settings.reset all settings

now reconnect to wifi
settings - wifi- click network name - enter password - join
if issue persists backup info and restore via itunes

since update to 9.3, when I click thumbnails of photos i get an error message that original photo cannot be found. Didn't have this problem prior to upgrade to 9.3 and 9.3.1. Any thoughts?

I'm not trying to minimize your issues, but I have an iPhone 5S and find that I have not had these types of problems on AT&T. I'm wonding if something has gotten stuck in a loop that is continually trying to use data. If you make a good backup of your phone, try restoring it as new, and do not add anything to the phone right away. Let the device run like this for a little while and see what kind of usage you have. You report you phone is showing usage of 21GB. Did you rese this setting on the phone to begin at your billing period? The reason I ask this is some people believe this setting resets on its own with your billing period, it does not. This has to be manually reset by the user, so it might not be that accurate depending on the last time that you reset it.
If the phone seems to not use so much extra data during the period the device does not have extra apps on it, then try restoring from your backup and see what happens. If this increases your data usage quite fast again, then there is probably something corrupt in the backup that is causing this issue. -

Pay no attention to iinami, the amount of replies to people saying their handsets must have been jailbroken everytime iTunes throws out an error is tremendous. (Clearly you don't need to have any real knowledge to get to level 3 on these forums, let's hope apple's geniuses know a lot more than some of their customers.)
