Upgrading computer and moving Creative Cloud to new
I have creative cloud on my laptop and desktop but will upgrade laptop soon. How do I delete the old laptop and start to use new laptop with Creative cloud and the 2 computer liscence agreement. I will not be using the old laptop so its still only two computers.
Launch a product and from the Help menu choose Sign Out. This will de-activate the Creative Cloud subscription on the old laptop.

There is a bit of confusion in the way you explain what you want... more on that in a minute. Whatever the scenario is, you are allowed to have the software installed and working on two machines, so if you like you can leave the original installation intact as a backup and just install on the new machine like you did originally.
Back to the confusion... You say "unsubscribe" which would be associated with the Creative Cloud. You say "creative suite" which would not be a subscription (I think they stopped CS subscriptions when the Cloud came into being). So if you have a Cloud subscription you would sign out of it on the old machine if you no longer want it there. Then you could uninstall if you like. If you have a licensed Creative Suite then you would open any one of the applications in it and choose Help -> Deactivate. Then you could uninstall if you like. -
Hi I am just now downloading Creative Clouds :-) as an upgrade from an old Creative Suite 5.5. Before that I hade a Creative suite 3 etc. Is it necessary that I keep all these old programs etc on my computer to make Creative Clouds work or is it better that I uninstall them? Kind regards, AnnaReet
It is not necessary to retain the older installations. YOu might want to consider if you will have any need for them in terms of working with older files, but other than that you can probably uninstall them without missing them.

I am a new Indesign user and a Creative Cloud member. I was using the Window/Pages drop down window to view my pages alphabetically or by page number and also to determine whether or not my JPEG files were sufficiently HI-Res for the printer. I don't know how I did it but somehow the window has changed so that now it does not have the alphabetical/numerical/Hi-Res information. It just shows the pages in a two page spread in numerical order. How can I restore the window so that I will be able to view the information as I did previously.

[Personal Information Removed]The pages panel is not the place where you see this information. You can customize the Links panel to show all sorts of things, including the page number, effective and actual ppi, and whether the link is OK or needs updating.

After downloading you can sign in to creative cloud desktop application with your Adobe ID and the applications would be activated.

There is no need to uninstall on the old machine, but you can sign out thru the CC Manager if you like and then uninstall like you would any other software (depends on your operating system).
To install on the new machine repeat what you did originally with the old machine...
Download/install the desktop application, sign in, install the subscription application(s).

I have just reformatted my drive and reinstalled creative cloud and lightroom. When i open it, it says there is another version running the catalog and i have to switch to it to fix the problem, but there is no other version on my computer. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Where did you put the LR catalog?
Did you install the same version of LR, which one?
OS and version?
Open the folder where the catalog (*.lrcat) is located. If you see a file with lock in it while LR is not running, delete it.
Now try to start LR again. -
I own CS6 from DVD and have just upgraded (by paying) for Creative Cloud. Is there an upgrade price or do I just start with monthly/yearly subscriptions to CC2014?
You get a discounted first year on your subscription if you own a previous product, which you should have been asked for when signing up.

if you have it installed on windows, you can use belarc advisor to recover your serial number.

I installed elements 12 on a Win 8.1 computer and moved all my photos from my old XP machine. I updated to elements 12.1. Now, many/most of my photos will not open because I do not have "permission" to open the files. How do I fix this so I can work with MY photos?
Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think? -
Illustrator CC2014 and Update Creative Cloud Desktop App

I am using the Creative Cloud Student edition on Windows 8.1. Right now I have some problems with Illustrator and the Desktop App itself, however I absolutely need it to work right now for University. I try to explain the problem as clear as I can, I hope you can help me!
First, the problem I have with Illustrator: I installed the newest version (CC2014) a couple of weeks ago. It all worked fine at first. After some time, when opening the application, I got a message saying it can't be opened and that I should go to the .exe file and operate it as Administrator. When I clicked okay, Illustrator opened without me doing what I was told.. This kept going on for a couple of days until now. I cannot open it anymore, a message appears saying: The localized source files for this application could not be loaded. Fix this application or reinstall. Then try again. .The problem is, I cannot fix or reinstall the application, I can't even uninstall it (It says there were problems and not everything was uninstalled..) Now I don't know what to do?
Second, I cannot update my creative cloud desktop app. It says: Creative Cloud desktop could not be updated. Error Code: 50. I have searched for that error code, but could not find any explanation.
I would be very happy for your help!

I sold my ipod (which has always been backed up to itunes/computer) and am waiting for a new Ipad.

You can sync your music and apps from iTunes. However since you are moving from an iPod to an iPad, many of the apps will have iPad versions which you will need to redownload.
