i am not sure if this is why my ipod itself is stalling out when playing games. Please help

Ok i went to my neighbors who had high speed internet and after a few attempts i got it upgraded. Now my question is how come when i am playing some games it still stalls out. it will stop for a few seconds then start again. Do you think i need to take it in to a apple store?

  • HT202159 Mountain Lion upgrade download stopped, now it states in purchased apps that 'an error has occured' and resume button is blank & will not work

Mountain Lion upgrade download stopped, now it states in purchased apps that 'an error has occured' and resume button is blank & will not work. Tried to re download, but it states code has already been used

    Danielle...
From the App Store menu bar top of your screen click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
If that doesn't help, disable anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
Keep in mind, for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk using Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband (high speed internet) access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.

  • Question about upgrading/downloading

I have an older version of iTunes on my windows computer right now, but I was wondering what will happend if i upgrade/download the new 7.5 version? will i lose all of the stuff that i have on my version right now, ie-songs, movies, podcasts, etc....??

I went thu this painstakingly difficult task a year ago when I downloaded the most recent version. With the help of several Top Users and multiple tries, i was able to get iTunes open. But the path to all of my songs, stores on an ext. HD, were lost. Only when I deleted the updated version and installed the older version did my ipod work correctly. The hardest part of this was having to "re-path" all of my 2500+ songs once the older version was installed and working correctly.
Which brings me to my current post. I recently purchased a new 80-GB ipod for my wife, hoping for this to work off my cradle and my iTunes library. However, the error message pops up and will not allow the newer ipod to work with my older version of iTunes.
I do not want to be in the same situation as before if I download the newer version. Is there anyway to download the newer version of iTunes for the new ipod while keeping the older version for my 60-GB? I would like to be able to set up two different iTunes and teach each ipod which iTunes to download from. Is this a pipe-dream or can this be done?
    Thanks as always.
    Rence

  • Upgrading to Mountain Lion using free upgrade, download froze halfway, tried again and unable to use same code twice. Please help?

Upgrading to Mountain Lion using free upgrade, download froze halfway, tried again and unable to use same code twice. Is there a way I can get a new code without having to submit other information (scan/photo of proof of purchase)?

Open the App Store and navigate to the Purchases tab. You should see Mountain Lion there. You can click there to restart the download.

  • Error message in Photoshop CS6 upgrade download

I just purchased the upgrade from Photoshop CS5 to CS6 as a download. I downloaded the download manager as instructed, and installed it. I then downloaded the CS6 upgrade. But when I went to install it, it asked for my serial number, which I (double-checked and) provided. It gave me a message saying that although it is a valid serial number, there is no product available that matches that serial number. I don't understand. Help?

You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

  • Can't find the Mavericks upgrade download

    I have a MacBook5,2 Core 2 Duo (4 gb RAM) that's currently running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
I want to download/install the Mavericks upgrade, but the links to Maverick are gone -- they go to the Yosemite download page.
Is there any way to find/download/install the Mavericks upgrade? Or is it no longer available?
Would an Apple Store be able to install Mavericks? Or would they also only have access to Yosemite?
If I really can't get Mavericks, should I upgrade to Yosemite (although I'd hate to do that before I see more feedback on it)? Or should I upgrade to Mountain Lion (I do have that on disk that I got from Apple a few years ago) for now?
The problem I have with my Macbook is that it's unbelievably slow. A friend suggested Mavericks might help.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I don't think HD space is the problem. I'm not an experienced user, but AFAICT, I have 63 GBs of space left.
When I bought the Macbook, it had only 2 GBs of RAM. A friend told me that was probably why it was so slow, so I added 2 more GBs. It didn't seem to make much difference. It seems to be a resources issue -- when I open and close apps, I don't think the resources are being freed up. I can only run one or two apps at a time. If I run Firefox with more than 5 or 6 tabs, open, operations slow to a crawl. Chrome is better, but if I have several tabs open, it slows down somewhat. Running Open Office's spreadsheet app at the same time also slows things down.
Anyway, my friend said that Mavericks was better at handling resources, so I wanted to try it. But it looks like I can't get it.

  • Where is the CS5.5 to CS6 Web Design Premium upgrade download link?!

I purchased the CS5.5 Web Design Premium equivalent to avail of the free upgrade to CS6 when it came out.
After too much fluffing around with Adobe's customer services (weeks upon weeks), I eventually received the upgrade disk through the post (I'm based in the UK).
The problem I now have is that this disk has become scratched and I can't wait to receive another disk.
After speaking with someone through the online chat, I was told that only those who purchased an online copy could download it. As I purchased directly through Adobe over the phone, I was not entitled to an auto-generated download link.
The upgrade also doesn't appear in my Product pages.
So, can someone please help to find out where I can download a copy of the upgrade, rather than wait for it to come through in the post?

As long as you have the serial numbers for the upgrade version and the base version(CS6 and CS5.5 respectively in your case) the programs will install fine. Download the trial version from www.adobe.com/downloads/ and install the software. During installation you may be asked for the CS5.5 serial number(after you enter your CS6 serial number). The installer file or setup.exe file is the same on the disks and on Adobe.com.
    Thanks
    Nikhil

  • ITunes upgrade download will not resume

Since the beginning iTunes has had one glaring failure in the upgrades. The downloads will not resume. I cannot even pause without it starting from scratch. Torrent technology is old stuff. But evidently too new for iTunes.
For testing do what the pirate sites do - unplug the connection, crash the OS, reboot, etc in the middle of a download. If it is corrupted you are doing it wrong. It should resume with minimal loss of packets. NOT start all over again.

It might also be worth submitting feedback via this form:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html
That will guarantee that someone from Apple will see your requests ... we're predominantly a user-to-user forum here, and so there's no guarantee that someone from Apple will see what you've posted here.

  • Upgrade Download Failed & So Did The Solution

I attempted to upgrade to 7.6 resulting in the following error message: "iTunesSetup[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application."
I followed the "troubleshooting solution" suggested by this website, but am still receiving the same error message.
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you

I solved my problem. After reading all the posts about problems with 7.6 I decided to download 7.5 instead. All I wanted to do was download music so needed 7.2 or higher. I found this link: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/11/07/direct-download-itunes-75-to-activate-i phone-anywhere-internationally/
and did the direct download. Now I'm downloading music no problem!

  • Where did Designer 1.3.2 to 6 upgrade download go?

    Hello,
The OTN downloads page for Designer used to have a download related to upgrading Designer 1.32 to 6.0 which has now disappeared. Where can I get hold of the r132to60 software?
    Thanks
    Ian

    Ian,
Sorry, we didn't realise it was no longer there, so thanks for alerting us to the fact. We must have let it slip when
updating OTN with the latest releases. We have now reinstated this. You should have visibility of this tomorrow or early next week.
Please note, you need to select the latest Designer 6i release and step through the agreement document to get the upgrade CD.
However, it is also worth noting that this is still available though http://Metalink.oracle.com.
You'll find it under Patches. Take a look at the Designer 6i patches, you should see a patch# 2093669 ID# 1142617. This is it!

  • To switch PCs, do I need the original install disk or can I just use the upgrade download and s/n?

I need to download my Acrobat 9 Pro on a new PC, but I cannot find my original product installation disk for Acrobat 8.   I have my serial # and the download link for the Acrobat Pro 9 upgrade.   Do I need to install Acrobat 8 first, and then download the upgrade?  How would I do that without the installation disk?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
You say that you have Mac OS X 10.7.5, so if it came preinstalled, see that you can't reinstall it because it's registered to the old owner. Call Apple to get replacement DVDs
If you want, you can upgrade to Mountain Lion. See if your computer is supported > http://www.apple.com/osx/specs Open App Store and purchase Mountain Lion
