Upgrading from AE CC 2014.0.2 to AE CC 2014.1 - Made my keyframes all move to the right by 1 frame??
I have files that I last worked in in AE CC 2014.0.2. Today after doing the update, I began working, and noticed something was off with my masks... Come to find out all the keyframes had been "moved" one frame to the right. Not that big of a deal to select all keys and move them manually. But I have many, many shots with many, many keyframes that I would like to try and avoid spending the time to manually move the them back one frame where they should be. If anyone knows how to fix this, or if this is just a bug, I would appreciate some advice regarding this particular issue. Thanks!

Okay, my comp settings are 23.976 fps/1280x720. I'm referring to ALL keyframes on ALL layers in my comp. Every keyframe is offset 1 frame to the right of where it is supposed to be. I know I can hit "U" on all layers in every comp and slide them over to fix the problem. I was just wondering "WHY" this was taking place. I have about 15 different files that I would have to make these adjustments if this is a bug. Unfortunately I can't give comparisons because I have upgraded and can go back to a previous version. I have this question, too. I was advised by someone at Mac App store to purchase OS Lion 10.7 for $ 19.99 which I did. Only to find out after the purchase and download that I only had 1 GB and needed at least 2 to use Lion. Now Apple refuses to credit my account for the $19.99 charge sending me some sort of coupon, but cannot be used to purchase the ram needed for my IMac. nor when I do increase the ram, I would not be able to re-purchase Lion.
I was wondering about Maverick or Yosemite on the older IMac. They are free. Don't understand why the older versions are not free, also. I have Yosemite on my MacBook Pro and like it very much. -

I have an Intel Desktop iMac and I am upgrading from Tiger to Snow Leopard. I keep getting an error when it tries to load the Mac OS X update combined. It says that it was corrupted during download. Have try loading from Apple website Mac OS X V10.6.7 upgrade combined but it still won't do it? Any other suggestions. The printer is not working either - I am not sure if they are connected. Everything else is fine.
Please excuse, but I have to ask an obvious question: Did you already update using the Snow Leopard Retail install DVD? (You must do this first; 10.6.7 is just an update if you already have 10.6.) Are you, then, trying to update from whatever version was on the install DVD to 10.6.7?
Otherwise, I'd keep trying. The 10.6.7 Combo is a huge update. -
I upgraded from snow leopard to mavericks only to find that my backup files of all my CS3 indesign, illustrator, photoshop wo't run, how do I uninstall mavericks and get my old system back. I retired from graphics a few years back but still have old clients I do work for and maintain files for. Would not have upgraded if I had known of the incompatability.

#1 Do a complete bootable backup of your drive before upgrading. That way should anything happen you can revert back to the start and try again.

BE CAREFUL with Quicken!
When Intuit finally released Quicken 2007 for Lion v16.1.1 in March, 2013 it was a godsend for older Quicken PPC users. It will directly open the data file from Quicken 2005, 2006 or 2007 PPC versions. The upgrade to 16.1.2 with the release of Mountain Lion was also stable.
I found version 16.1.3 to crash on opening on my Lion Mac, so I downgraded back to version 16.1.2 and all is well. Others are now reporting that version 16.1.4, the current version sold by Intuit, is also causing some problems. I have not been able to isolate these reports.
My point: purchase Quicken 2007 for Lion, but ALSO:
1. Make copies of your Quicken 2007 PPC data file and back them up BEFORE you attempt to open it in 16.1.4; and
2. If you run into problems, let me know by email (michaellax) at AOL dot com.
If it works fine for you, please report that too!
PS: Baltwo will tell you he has encountered no problems and good for him. But the reports of others with problems keep mounting... -
