I have a iphone 4g. Recently I upgrade ios from 4.1 to 4.3.3. Now some priveously installed application, dose not work. How can i solve this problem? Thanks

yes, you need to plug it into a computer and upgrade through iTunes, but you will be ugraded to the most recent iOS 7.0.6, which is fine.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

Back up your iphone. Erase all content and settings and try to update again. Also on you computer make sure your signed in as the administrator and All antivirus and firewalls are disabled. http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4451

HI, Sorry for my BAD english, I'm Italian. I have an Iphone 4s.. four day ago, I upgraded my IOS from 5.1.1 to 6.1.1 (thinking that 6.1.1 was mature). This is WORST decision I was made. WIFI it's unusable. iPhone it's connected, but doesn't navigate.... or navigate like a SNAIL.
I'm a computer technician and cisco CCNP... after some speedy try, I was able to use WIFI with WEP and not with WPA....
Best result was with an 802.11/B AP with 128bit WEP (no problem at ALL)....... I think there is a problem IOS - WPA and 802.11G AP...
I hope this can help some user...... for me it's absolutely USELESS info because all my customer uses different AP with different encription so I CAN'T use anymore my phone.... I switch to galaxy sIII until apple resolve this issue.
I'm an apple fan since 1987 (MY MAC II) and NEVER has problem or problem was immediately resolved but
on last THREE year, apple was made some mistake.... using CUSTOMER as TESTER....
After 20 year of apple, if all continue so. I MUST abandon APPLE.

Upgrade IOS from 3.1.3 to 4x on my 3G was my mistake!! SLOW!!!!!!!!!

I should've done my homework before I ugraded IOS from 3 to 4 on my 3G. Apparently, I'm one of thousands having this issue. My iPhone was screaming before I upgraded with same amount of apps, etc. and as soon as I upgraded, I immediately noticed something wrong. 5-6 second to bring up contacts, texting is sluggish..have to wait till characters render while I type!!! I moved from Blackberry to iPhone...I hope Apple is taking this seriously to keep their customers. I'm about to switch back!!!!

No kidding. This was Apple's biggest mistake of the past few years. My iPhone 3G is essentially unusable. Launching an app works as fast as previously, but once IN that App I typically can't do anything for anywhere from 10 to 45 seconds. Swiping pages of apps can be slow - or completely unresponsive. EVERYTHING is sluggish. Forget going back - I'm moving to Android if Apple can't fix this. And so far I've gotten ZERO response from anyone.

Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?

In terms of the actual update, connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) - that should copy all of your apps (purchases or free) and other iTunes purchases over (music, films etc). You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes (on iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

An iPad 1 will update to iOS 5.1.1, and an iPad 2 and 3 to iOS 6.0.1 - they are the only versions that are 'signed' by Apple for them.

If those 5 steps don't fix it, the iPhone will need service.

Thank you for your question. iTunes 11.1 is required to update to and sync with iOS 7. If you are still running iTunes 10.6.3, I recommend trying to obtain the update by going to the iTunes menu and selecting Check for Updates.

This message indicates that your phone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it.
Then when you updated/restored your phone it locked back up to the original carrier.
Only the carrier that the phone is locked to can unlock it.
