Upgrading LabVIEW drivers from 5.1.1 to 10.0 (or compatible version)

Hello!
I can't read the files in the attachment (CCD drivers), because they are written in a LabVIEW version (5.1.1) not compatible with mine (10.0).
Do anyone know how to make them readable by my version?
Thank you very much,
Eleonora

To use Java objects mapping with Oracle object TYPES (for ex. STRUCT),

I would like to hear from you that, what is the impact on the existing application if I upgrade

Please do mention all the impact.

JDBC 10g works just fine against 9.2 database. See the interopeability matrix on the JDBC portal http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/index.html

  • HT1338 how could iI upgrade my OS from Mac OS 10.5.8 to the Latest version Mountain Lion

how could iI upgrade my OS from Mac OS 10.5.8 to the Latest version Mountain Lion

    Hello,
You need to get 10.6 & update to 10.6.8 first to be able to buy it from the App Store & download it.
    Snow Leopard/10.6.x Requirements...
    General requirements
       * Mac computer with an Intel processor
        * 1GB of memory (I say 4GB at least, more if you can afford it)
        * 5GB of available disk space (I say 30GB at least)
        * DVD drive for installation
        * Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may apply.
        * Some features require Apple’s MobileMe service; fees and terms apply.
Which apps work with Mac OS X 10.6?...
    http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/
It's been pulled from the online store, so you have to call Apple to buy it, last I heard, but quick, call before it's gone!
    Call Apple 1-800-MY-APPLE
You have to get 10.6.8 first to go even higher to 10.7 or 10.8

  • How to use a GPIB card's LabView drivers to communicate with the card?

I have an axiomtek AX4810P PCI-GPIB card and i have aquired LabView drivers from the manufacturer.
This has put VI's for the GPIB functions on the 'user palette' but i can't work out how to use them to communicate with the card. can anyone help? please.

    LS,
Thank you for contacting National Instruments.
Unfortunately, since you are not using a National Instruments GPIB card, I do not have access to the drivers that were provided to you by your card's manufacturer. I would suggest contacting Axiomtek directly to obtain support using their drivers.
However, I did write a small VI that demonstrates how to use similar National Instruments drivers with a National Instruments GPIB card. Keep in mind, this example VI is not intended to work with your particular card. The drivers you obtained from Axiomtek may have similar functions, however, and you can use my VI as a guide. My VI allows you to send a command to an instrument at address 2 on the GPIB card.
    Hope this helps!

  • Should I upgrade my NVIDIA drivers from version 301.42 to 314.07 on my Mid-2010 MacBook Pro (6,2)?

    Hello,
I was wondering if it would be wise for me to upgrade my MacBook Pro nvidia drivers from version 301.42 to the current version 314.07? Reason, I am asking this is because my MacBook Pro has the nvidia GeForce GT 330m processor with 256mb of video memory and I haven't updated my Windows 7 64bit Home Premium display drivers for about 7 months. At the time I installed the 301.42 driver it was the latest WHQL release, and back then I did the upgrade after installing the Bootcamp 4.0 drivers (from the Bootcamp Assistant which had the 26X.XX driver version), Windows 7 SP1, and all Windows Updates. I used a clean install on those drivers. So far, I haven't had any problems with the 301.42 driver which makes me sometimes double think whether I should upgrade the drivers or not to the 314.07 version. As a result this is why I go to these forums and ask what could be the best course of action in my case?
    Thanks in advance!

Yes you should by all means update to the latest Nvidia drivers on the windows side of things. I presume you are using bootcamp (since thats really the only place this is relevant).
    But yes! you should

Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!
    Thanks for the advice, Bee

    aspaceman,
Perhaps I owe you an apology.   Having re-read that downloading from HP was unsuccessful I feel uncomfortable.  Can I suggest you update your 10.6 system (as noted in your profile) to 10.6.8 (if it is not already there) by using the
Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 combo update plus any software updates that then apply.

  • Do I need to download drivers for an HP 8600 all in one printer after upgrading to Mavericks from Mountain Lion?

I am about to upgrade my Mac's OS from Mountain Lion to Mavericks.   I recently networked to my Mac on our home wireless network an HP 8600 all in one printer/scanner and an HP LaserPro 127.   I saw a note posted in a non-Apple forum stating that the Mavericks upgrade should include the drivers needed to run these products on Mavericks.   Is that correct or will I need to download a new set of drivers from HP after I upgrade to Mavericks?
    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Hello km9394,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding upgrading LabVIEW. After looking at the screenshots provided I understand that you are not able to complete the installation process due a missing local database. The problem could have different resolutions depending on the operating system that you are using. One possible solution is to register your version of Windows assuming that you are using Windows 2000. In rare cases the solution has also been to install the latest Internet Explorer patch and then attempt to reinstall LabVIEW. That patch can be found at
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/
Similar installation problems have been reported and are documented below.
[Kai Barck 10/16/01] Same problem with another customer. He installed Teststand, then
LV 6.0, and updated it to 6.02. After that he got error 1500 when trying to install Database Connectivity Toolset or uninstall LV. Killing the msiexec client and removing the reg entry didn't help. Eventually he fixed the problem by registering Windows 2000 from the "Getting started for Windows 2000" window that appears at startup (if you haven't selected not to show it anymore). After registration the installer finished LV installation. This may have been the case also when Tom installed IE5SP2 if it required to register. [Creston Kuenzi - 10/25/01] Another problem with 6.0.2 and the Database Connectivity Toolset. I told the customer that others had success by registering the OS, but he said that wasn't an option. In the end, he had to reinstall the OS.
I hope these resources help. Let me know if I can further assist you.

  • LabView update from V7.0 to V7.1

    Hi,
i want to upgrade my system from LV 7.0 to LV 7.1. Should i remove completly LV 7.0 before installing LV 7.1?
I've tried to install LV 7.1 without removing LV 7.0 and now have the problem that i couldn't start the MAX.
Could someone tell me what's the best way to upgrade it?
Can I also use the FieldPoint 4.0.1 with LV 7.1?
    Thanks for your help.
    regards
    patrick
    Patrick Etoumann

LabVIEW 7 and 7.1 can peacefully coexist on a system (make sure to apply the two patches to 7.1 to make it 7.11f2).  I'm not sure what happened to MAX, but you can either Repair the install from the Windows control panel, or update MAX to 4.1 by installing the latest DAQmx and other device drivers.  Those can be found here.  FieldPoint 4.0.1 should work with LabVIEW 7.11, but why?  There's 5.0.1 out there, and it's freely available at that same link!
Editorial comment - Also, check your calendar because for all of 2006, we've had LabVIEW 8.0 and now 8.20.  Actually, you are perhaps lucky to have skipped 8.0, but now that 8.20 is out it's time to go for it.
