i want to upgrade my imac 10.3.9 to the newest version, the leopard disc came with my new macbook, can i use it? i tried, and it says it cant be loaded on this computer? do i have to download each upgrade one by one till i get to the newest? i want leopard on all my computers! i love it

EA2700 upgrade from 1.0.14 to the newest 1.1.40

Last year I downgraded my EA2700 to the “non cloud” 1.0.14 version since I didn't “trust” the cloud version. However now it seems safer to upgrade to the new 1.1.40 version than to stay on the old 2012 version. However, I can't get the device to update.
Already tried; 30/30/30 reset, normal reset, factory reset via the web interface but at 98% it keep throwing me a short error message that the upgrade failed (in Dutch).
Should I go via the 1.1.39 version (if yes, were can I find that since Linksys removed the file??) or doed anyone have other options?

It can help users and others if users manually downloaded the FW from Linksys web site and kept a copy on hand for historical recall if needed. Maybe someone has a old copy on hand some place.

Have you filed a Feature Request for full Canon 5D MKII support with Adobe? That would be a good first step. Also, Adobe is conducting a survey right now, and you can fill in requests for formats that you wish to use. This would be worth the effort, if you have not done so already.

I suggest copying your entire iTunes library to your new computer, also you might want to copy the photos you want to save. Then sync your device to the new iTunes and copy over your music, documents and photos that you want.
If you are no longer going to use the old computer you should open up iTunes on the old computer and use the menu to deauthorize it. Be sure to use the same iTunes menu on your new computer to Authorize the new one.

Here are the steps I though I took this morning:
Backup iPad
Connect to iTunes and downlaod newest version of iTunes and then newest iOS
restart Vista Laptop
upgrade to newest iOS
I knew somethign was wrong when it took about 6 hours to upgrade the iPad
at the end it errored with this message error (-50), but the upgrade worked
I was expecting to see all my photos but didn't see them
I have tried a restore to a back up 2 times. The first time took 3 hours and just sort of timed out - it kept saying that there was an hour to go
I tried it again 2 hours ago and same message.
They are very valuable to me and so now I am panicking

After upgrading to the newest Firefox, the default search engines disappeared from my search bar. Why and how do I correct this? (Also: every time I download a Google search add-on, it goes away upon closing/re-opening FF)

I'm referring, of course, to the search bar located next to the URL window; prior to upgrading to the newest FF, I had the capability of choosing from several standard engines and never experienced any problems but following the upgrade, there are no engines available to choose from and I have only been able to find versions of Google search other than the standard one in the available Add-ons I am shown when I go to 'add new search engine' (as there are no engines displayed) via the 'manage search engines' drop down option.
Furthermore, I have downloaded a search engine Add-on numerous times (most often, if not always, Informative Google Search) and it functions just fine, but upon FF restart, its back to having no default engines to choose from.
I have searched Google forever looking for an answer to why this is happening and had no luck with my specific problem, so I've come to where I figured the most savvy FF users dwell - hope you guys got some insight cause it's really pissing me off at this point, hahahaha.

This could be a very expensive upgrade, Snow Leopard, then Mountain Lion, more RAM and all new software all for a dated machine.
I'd say upgrade it to 10.6.8 max and perhaps add more RAM and stay there for best performance.

when you opened the shared library with the newer version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11) you were given a warning that your library would be converted and could not be used by older versions - you clicked ok to go ahead - there is no updo available - either upgrade to iphoto '11 of the MBP or load your backup of the iPhoto '09 library on it - older versiopns of i{Photo can not read newer libraries

I have recently just upgraded from my old white powerpc G5 which did not allow me to edit in HD and I had to down convert all my footage to edit in DV. I have bought the newest FCP studio, and I had to order a new firewire as my new desktop does not take the old one that I had before. The new firewire that I have which is the only one that fits into my iMac from my sony Z1 is a Firewire IEEE1394-B (800) 9 pin to 4 pin .
