Upgrading OIM 9.1.0.1 to 9.1.0.2 BP07

Hi All,
I am trying to upgrade the OIM 9.1.0.1 which is installed on weblogicserver 10.3 to OIM 9.1.0.2 BP07 with application server 10.3.2 on windows machine.
First i tried to upgrade the OIM to 9.1.0.2.In upgrading this i did the following steps:
1.Upgraded the weblogic server from 10.3 to 10.3.2 using the patch
2.Upgraded the database by running the bat files.
3.Upgrading OIMserver by running the patch_weblogic script.
The script is completed successfully.
Now i restarted the weblogic server and tried to login to OIM but i found like the two ear files are not deployed in the weblogic server.Do i missed any step in upgrading weblogic server.
I need somebody help who did this in their machines.

Getting error while upgrading OIM from 9101 to 9102

I am trying to upgrade OIM from 9101 to 9102 but getting following error.

Deployment Manager is not Working after upgrading OIM 9.1.0.1 to 9.1.0.2

Hi,
I have installed the following components successfully
Oracle Database : 10.2.0.1
Weblogic Server : 10.3.0
OIM : 9.1.0.1
Platform : Microsoft Windows XP
Then, I have download the patch : p8484010_9102_Generic and followed necessary documents to upgrade OIM 9.1.0.1 to 9.1.0.2.
Patch installation was successful. While restarting the server we are encountering servlet exception, Nexaweb deployment ends up in failure.
Error Details
========
weblogic.application.ModuleException: [HTTP:101216]Servlet: "ClientClassServlet" failed to preload on startup in Web application: "Nexaweb".
javax.servlet.ServletException: com.nexaweb.server.clientmgmt.ClientClassLoader
Further we faced a number of class not found exception in com.thortech.xlscheduler.schedule.task
Kindly suggest me if we are using correct versions of all OIM components mentioned above for upgrading OIM 9.1.0.1 to 9.1.0.2 and also let us know if we need to upgrade any other components before applying the patch.
Help required at the earliest

Go to Weblogic admin console and see whether both applications are deployed successfully or not.
Also see the patch_weblogic.log whether it has some exception while deploying Nexaweb.

Yes your strategies seems fine. for dropping schema you can RCU as well.
for restore, Drop all the entities manually from oim db schema So you don't have any grant issue while importing old 10g dump

OIm11g Upgrade OIM Middile Tier ua utility hanged

Hi All,
We have upgraded oim 9.1.0.2 to oim 11g 11.1.1.5 in our Dev environment, But when we try this in our QA environment, its hanged when run ua to Upgrade OIM Middile tier. There is no error messages in logs (@ TRACE level). We followed the following link for upgradation

We are getting this issue at task 12 (13.14 Task 12: Use Upgrade Assistant to Upgrade Oracle Identity Manager Middle Tier).
OIm is in progress state for this upgradation state at OIM91UPG.USER level. we got this information by running the query :select feature_id, feature_upgrade_state, is_feature_upgraded from upgrade_feature_state;

Its solved, Actually it took 8 hours to complete then task. The same task took 10-20 mins in DEV. We are expecting the reason might be the DB and App server locations are different (there it took 8 hours), locations are same where it took 20 mins.

Upgrade OIM 9.1.0.1849 to OIM 11g

We are planing to upgrade OIM 9.1.0.1849 to OIM 11g, We have some custom forms, Adapters and Lookups, I would like to know if there is any direct path to upgrade OIM to the latest version.
We were told some time back that Oracle will release a patchset will will allow us to upgrade to OIM 11g. Can anyone let us know if it is possible or not and if such a patchset is release or not.

I don't think you have an upgrade possible from 9100 to 9102.
Please install 9101 and upgrade to 9102 , there on you can apply any bundle patch.

Problem with"Evaluate User Policies"sch task after the upgrade OIM R1 to R2

Problem with "Evaluate User Policies" scheduled task after the upgrade from OIMg R1 to OIM 11g R2
After the upgrade process is completed we are having issue with Access policy not triggering if rule is set to custom attribute
- We had a Rule with custom attribute (Policy='Full-Time') the value gets populated by event handler which triggers the access policy in OIM 11g R1.. which worked fine in OIM R1
After the upgrade the value is getting populated but even after running "Evaluate User Policy" the Access Policy is not getting triggered.
We tested creating a rule with other custom attribute,policy does not trigger even after running Evaluate User Policy schedule Task in this case too
but if we try creating rule with OOTB attributes(Country='US') it works fine the access policy got triggered after running Evalute User Policy
One more issue we observed is
- Evaluate User Policy value usr_policy_update is not updated still set to '1' even after the Access policy got triggered (as it worked when rule is set to OOTB attribute)
I believe after the evaluate user policy gets triggered for a user it should update the value from '1' to '0')

well, I overcame the issue by 'fooling' the installer: on second node, change the scan ip address to point to something else (ie, different ip address to the scan in the first node, cleanup then rerun root.sh, it went past the trouble stage, then I still have problem later at the time database creation. I think scan ip address has to be setup correctly (round robin thingy)
This is how i did the cleanup before rerun root.sh
/u01/app/11.2.0/grid/crs/install/rootcrs.pl -verbose -deconfig -force

Upgrade OIM 8.5.3 to OIM 9.1

I have a number of customers that are thinking of upgrading from 8.5.3 to 9.1. The conventional wisdom is to first move to 9.0, fix the problems with scheduled tasks etc, and then move to 9.1.
I heard a rumor that Oracle might release an upgrade pack that takes you straight from 8.5. to 9.1 in order to get the last final customers off the 8.5 track and up on the new version. Anyone here that can comment on this?

the one thing I know for sure, is that at the moment there's no possibility to upgrade from 9.0 to 9.1 (upgrade script isn't present in 9.1 installation pack)

OIM 9.1.0.2 wont start after upgrade

I have upgraded OIM 9.1.0.1 to 9.1.0.2 following the document from the patch.
On running xlStartWLS.cmd to start the WebLogic domain - The command window just closes off in a second. Below is the output from xlStartWLS.cmd command
I couldn't figure-out what could be the problem. The setup is on Windows Stand-Alone machine.
