Upgrading one app in an installed suite

I have Adobe CS4 Design Premium that has Photoshop CS4 Extended in it. I would like to upgrade to PS CS5 Extended and found an online discount place that has the upgrade package for Photoshop alone.
Since the CS4 version I have came in a package suite and thus the serial number is for all the software in the package, can I upgrade just Photoshop to CS5 with that serial number? Will the PS upgrade affect the rest of the suite package applications? I'd like to know before a) purchasing the PS CS5 upgrade and b) before I screw something up using an individual upgrade instead of a suite upgrade and having to reinstall everything!

Even if that discounted software is from an Amazon.com retailer? That's where I found the upgrade software. I wouldn't think that Amazon would allow pirated anything to be sold on their website.

TS1702 More than one app is stuck installing and not doing anything

It appears to be fixed, he had multiple versions of iTunes installed (since he put his iTunes in a different folder) the iTunes icon launched the old iTunes, even though the new was installed. it's working now.

I just installed the new CC apps. Since they get installed parallel to the old ones instead of upgrading, do I un-install the old ones with the un-install app in the old folder?

Are you using a Mac machine or Windows PC?
If using a Mac machine, go to Application-->Utilities-->Adobe Installer-->old apps names and run the uninstaller for old apps.
If you are using Windows PC, go to Control panel-->>Program and Features and uninstall the old apps.
It will uninstall everything related to old apps, but your setting must be imporated to new version of apps.

Try deleting what is called the iPod Photo Cache.

We do not share an apple ID and her phone is now logged in with her account and I have since backed it up on itunes under her account as well. I have turned off automatic downloads on her phone but they still keep downloading. I delete one app and then another one just appears on the phone.

They won't uninstall even if you change accounts. However, you may not be able to update them while signed in to a different accoutn than the one who purhcased the apps.

If you have already updated to Pages 5.2 on your Mac, you may be trying to open the file with a previous version of Pages. If this is the case, you have two versions of Pages on your Mac & are trying to open Pages 5 documents with Pages 4. Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there then right-click on the Dock icon & select Options > Keep in Dock.
Installing new versions of iWork has never replaced existing versions. This is nothing new. The only thing new is that the '09 apps are moved to an iWork '09 folder if they were purchased from the Mac App Store. If they were installed from disk they should already be in a separate folder in Applications.
