Rajesh,
Please note that (Patch 2304444 - Marketing Online Release 11.5.7B) is already included in 11.5.9, 11.5.10, and 11.5.10.2, and you are already on 11.5.10.2. So, why would you need to apply this patch?

  • Upgrading Oracle Financials To 11i

How long did it take you to Upgrade Oracle Financials (GL,AR,AP,FA & PO)from Rel 10.7 or Rel 11 to Rel 11i?
    null

Depends upon how vanilla your install is. Assuming you've got sufficient hardware in place the install itself takes a few days (you'll want to run some test migrations to work out the kinks and perfect the process). Once the physical work is done its the testing and validation that takes all the time.

  • Upgrading to a family pack

Can I just upgrade to a family pack if I have iWork-single user? I just bought a new iMac.

I don't agree. It looks to me that he asked that exact question and that would begin the point where it gets silly.
The way I read this thread is that someone wants to know if you need a family pack to install Leopard onto multiple computers (Post 1).
He's told that he actually needs the family pack or he will be breaking the EULA (Post 2)
He then posts a question if it will be difficult to do with just the *single user version* (Post 3) The it in the first post is to use a single user license on multiple computers.
Now if the original message didn't already say he wanted to install a single license to multiple computers, then maybe his question should be "would it be hard to install Leopard to a single machine?" That question has nothing to do with this thread.
That's the way it reads. No mind reading is possible. I read what he says and don't assume anything. If the subject is changed, then post a new thread or at least make it clear the subject has changed. He still needs a family pack to install Leopard to multiple computers. If he doesn't want to buy one, then he will have to go elsewhere for installation information that breaks the EULA.
The original post was not a silly question.
I got a feeling this post will get modified

  • Upgrading to iLife Family Pack

    Hello
I owned iLife 08 for my Macbook but we now have two more Macbooks in the house so I purchased the Family Pack.
Can I change licence somewhere on the Macbook where it is already installed so that the Single User licence is available for me to sell, as I have the Family Pack? I will just install the Family Pack on the others.
    Many thanks
    Deborah

    Deborah:
You don't need to worry about licenses. Just install the the family pack on the other Macs. That's all that's necessary.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Do we have to upgrade HRMS 11.5.10.2 Family Pack I to Family Pack K?

    Hi,
Just a really quick question. Do we need to do a HRMS upgrade from 11.5.10.2 Family Pack I to Family Pack K to get isetup working? Our DBA has identified through analyzing the recommended patches (for 11.5.10.2) that this is a pre-requisite. We really want to try and minimise testing\effort in getting isetup working.. can we avoid applying some patches? is there an alternative? or do we need to be on family pack K and apply all the recommended patches?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Well I really want to know if we have to apply the patch 5201280 which has the prequisite of being on Family pack K.. Can we skip this patch?
The README file of Patch 5201280 says you need to have (Patch 3333633 - Oracle HRMS Family Pack J) applied as a pre-req. (NOT Family pack K).

  • Upgrade single family pack?

I'm leaving Monday on a business trip for which I'll need a spreadsheet on my laptop, so today (Saturday) went to the local Apple Store and bought a copy of iWork '08. I'm working my way through Numbers right now and so far everything is going well.
Just one problem: I wanted to buy a Family Pack so I could also install it on my desktop Mac. But they were sold out of Family Packs - all they had were the single-user version, so I had to buy what they had.
Is it going to be possible to pay the extra $20 and upgrade to a Family Pack? Thanks...

No, there is no upgrade path. A search of this forum probably would have returned several threads on the subject.
You can remove iWork '08 from your desktop Mac & put it on your MacBook/MacBook Pro to remain within the single-user license.
When the Apple Store didn't have the family pack, you could just use the trial version for up to 30 days. You could then order the family pack online & just enter the serial number on your Macs after you get it (this is what I did).

  • IWeb, .Mac family pack and 2 computers

Currently I have a single .Mac account and am using iWeb. My hubby wants his own iWeb site on his own machine so should I upgrade to the family pack on .Mac or get him his own .Mac account? If we go with the family pack does everything need to be done on 1 machine?
    Thanks!

    Apple wrote:
The Family Pack includes a master account, with everything in the Basic Membership, including 10GB of online storage and 100GB of monthly data transfer, plus four sub-accounts for a total of five .Mac accounts. Each sub-account gets its own email address, iDisk folder, 2.5GB of email and file storage, and 25GB of monthly data transfer. And there’s a shared iDisk folder just for the family. The master account administers the sub-accounts, and the membership can be renewed only through the master account.
Differences between getting 2 .Mac or Family Pack:
    1. Price: 10 $ a year (Family is cheaper)
    2. If one day another family member wants to have its own website you're better off in having the Family Pack
What's the same in getting one or the other?
    1. No matter which one you choose you could have the sites on separate computers and publish from separate computers as everyone would have it's own access data
    2. As I understand it: Family Pack Total storage 10 GB (+4*2,5GB) = 20GB and 2 .Mac accounts storage 20 GB

    Cédric
As mentioned by Chuck you can use the same account. As long as your sites are named differently. The only problem is that when you enter web.mac.com/username/ you will get to the last published site (yours or your sons) unless you replace the index.html file every time you publish. You could also both have a Site named with the same name (let's say Index) at first place in your iWebs followed by the personal sites. The Index site will be identical in both iWeb and contain just an index so people can choose which site to look at yours or yours sons (however sons mostly want only their own stuff... I think... And don't want friends looking at the father's site or so...). That way there's no problem putting in web.mac.com/username/ people would always see the same site no matter who published last

  • Using iWeb with MobileMe family pack

I just upgraded to the family pack for mobile me. I had been using it for my homepage, but now I'd like to make a homepage for my son, and my wife wants to make a homepage as well.
How is this handled in iWeb? I don't see a way to tell it where to publish which site when I add a new site.
What is the easiest way to handle multiple mobile me websites on one mac?
    Thanks.

Not having used the sharing option since there's only one user on my Mac, I don't know the ins and outs of what you want to do. Terence Develin might. If you want to share the library with all users and have them be able to access the library, import new file and perform edits then the best solution is to put the library on an external HD whose ownership has been set to off. This Apple document explains the process: iPhoto: Sharing libraries among multiple users.
The drive can also be used to backup other files as well.

  • Existing Family Packs versions !! -- 11i.HR_PF

    Dears,
I'm using this script to get the family packs and versions stuff:
    select decode(nvl(a.APPLICATION_short_name,'Not Found'),
    'SQLAP','AP','SQLGL','GL','OFA','FA',
    'Not Found','id '||to_char(fpi.application_id),
    a.APPLICATION_short_name) apps,
    decode(fpi.status,'I','Installed','S','Shared',
    'N','Inactive',fpi.status) status,
    fpi.product_version,
    nvl(fpi.patch_level,'-- Not Available --') Patchset,
    to_char(fpi.last_update_date,'dd-Mon-RRRR') "Update Date"
    from fnd_oracle_userid o, fnd_application a, fnd_product_installations fpi
    where fpi.application_id = a.application_id(+)
    and fpi.oracle_id = o.oracle_id(+)
    order by 1,2
Now my installation includes the EBUSINESS BUNDLE. i'm trying to apply the Oracle HRMS Family Pack K Rollup 1 (11i.HR_PF.K Rollup 1) --> 5055050. The readme says i must have already installed Oracle HRMS Family Pack K -->(3500000). I run the script above and didn't see any FAMILY PACK with this name (11i.HR_PF). i only got:
    GHR Installed 11.5.0 11i.GHR.J
    HRI Installed 11.5.0 11i.HRI.F
    What do you think guys?
    Please advise,
    Firas

  • Current  family pack version

    Hi
How can we identify the current family pack version in the erp.I checked the patch_level column in fnd_product_installations is there any difference between the column output and family pack version.plss clarify.Patchset.sh is there but i like to know whts significance of this patch_level column in the fnd_product_installations table
    rgds
    rajesh

PATCH_LEVEL represents the current Mini-pack level of the product (eg. 11i.FND.H, etc)
To know which Financials Family Pack you are on, run the following statement as APPS user:
    SQL> select t.application_name, t.application_id, i.patch_level
    , decode(i.status,'I','Fully Installed','N','Not Installed','S','Shared','Undetermined') status
    from fnd_product_installations i, fnd_application_vl t
    where i.application_id = t.application_id
    order by t.application_id;
