Upgrading plugin to Creative Cloud SDK

Hello,
I've got a plugin that I'm attempting to upgrade from CS6 to the CC SDK.  The plugin loads without issues in CS6 but as soon as I change the SDK and recompile and attempt to load it in Creative Cloud I get and invalid plugin id.  AEGP_RegisterCommandHook() from RegisterSuite5() returns a 3.
The Plugin Id really makes no sense:
aegp_plugin_id
33080176
int
In CS6 I get a reasonable value like 17.  Does anyone have any ideas where to look?

Yes.  Your perpetual license won't expire.
You may keep using CS4 alone or along side Creative Cloud if you wish. 
You may install CC or CS4 on up to two machines at one time.   The main difference is that CS4 can be installed on only one platform depending on which was purchased (either Mac or Windows).  However, CC can be installed on both platforms.

    So the question is, where is this serial number located?

    Hi Christian,
    Creative Cloud subscription do not require any serial numbers. To upgrade from personal to a Company package (CCT) , you will have to cancel the personal subscription and purchase CCT subscription ( as an admin and then invite rest of the team members into the same subscription ).
    Best option would be to talk to our sales team as they would be able to get you up & running quickly.

    As answered correctly by Ssprengel and Twenty_one, you can upgrade your plan from the Photoshop Photography Program to Creative Cloud complete.  On the date the upgrade is done, you will be charged for the new plan and receive a refund for any unused days for that month on the current plan, accordingly.

    Can I use my Photoshop plugins, such as Portraiture or Retouch Me, in Creative Cloud?

    I fixed the issue for those interested.
    I copied the "imagenomic" folder that was in my CS6's plugin folder (Mac) to the CC's plugin folder.  I then "double clicked" the plug in and viola, when I now open Photoshop CC Portaiture shows up under my filters.

    Those are good questions.
    Sadly I know some third party developers already abandoned development when CS6 launched and the new plugin architecture came into play. Given the now standard versioning releases and updates pushed to consumers decided upon by Adobe for the Creative Cloud subscriptions how will third party development and testing of application add-ons work going forward and what does Adobe have in place for this to assist and ensure developers moving forward with new releases. Similar to their own recent Creative Cloud Connection debacle, can developers be assured Adobe wont also break third party plugin compatibilities? Is there a testing and versioning framework system in place for developers for use with each new release of the Creative Cloud? Is a workflow for developers in place?

    No, you do not need to uninstall CS3 before installing CC.  You should still be able to use it (not sure if there will be any issues though).
    What you might try before buying is installing CC as a 30 day trial.  That will make things clear without having to chance the investment.

    The 5 free Web Basics subscriptions you get with Creative Cloud can be redeemed only for new Web Basics sites, not for live sites.

    I have lightroom 4 and want to upgrade to 5. I can either buy an upgrade an install it on my Mac. But will I then have access to lightroom on my iPad through Creative Cloud and can I buy access and how much? Or I can get Creative Cloud/photograpy with both lightroom and Photoshop. But I don't need Photoshop and can't see I can get only lightroom. So can I get lightroom with lightroom on my iPad and just that and nothing else?
    If I start with Creative Cloud/photography and don't want to continue, can I then go back to lightroom 4 and buy and upgrade to lightroom 5 and then just use lightroom on my Mac?
