Upgrading purchases

we are trying to upgrade items already purchased unable to find itunes plus download instructions that are supposed to be on the itunes store - anyone else done this?

Can I upgrade my previously purchased music to iTunes Plus?
Yes. If you subscribe to iTunes Match, you can download your previously purchased music again in the iTunes Plus format. To do so:
You need to delete the original DRM song from your library first. Doing this enables you to download the song again in the iTunes Plus format from iTunes in the Cloud.
Click the Purchased tab in the iTunes Store.
Click Music.
Locate the artist of the song you want to upgrade.
Click the iCloud Download icon next to the song you want to upgrade.

An enquirey concerning eligibility for possible 'upgrade' purchase

Hi everyone...
I recently have purchased a valid and legitimate (brand new and sealed) version of Adobe Premiere from a reseller on Ebay.
The version in question is Premiere 6.0 and it was won via a bid. Giving that no one else made any bids, I got it for a complete steal.
As I mentioned... The version is legit with a genuine license, and I obv have proof of my purchase via paypal receipt and other related emails. It was also purchased from a proffesional reseller.
So my question is... Do I qualify to be able to purchase an 'Upgrade' version of the newest Premier Pro?

states that to qualify, you just have to own a single user retail license for said software, have evidence of purchase and a registered seriel number.
I do have all of these things... However I'm not sure how tangible my eligibility for an 'upgrade' purchase is, due to the nature my purchase.

The issue isn't whether the copy you have is legit or not. It's too far back to be eligible for the upgrade. From the upgrade requirements.....

So you see Premiere 6 is too old to be eligible.
You could always call Adobe and speak with them. Perhaps they might make you a deal/

HELP! Upgrade purchasing to CS5 (or poss 5.5)

Hi all
We have a problem at my place of work. We have two computers which need to have the same version of CS on (currently CS2).
For a reason I won't try to explain one licence for an upgrade from CS2 to CS5 was purchased a while ago. Recently someone tried to buy another licence so we could upgrade both computers but we end up with a CS5 to CS 5.5
Now, we have a big problem. We need to either buy another CS2 to CS5 or a CS2 to CS5.5
There was a very short return period on the cs5 to 5.5 purchase so we cannot return it.
The only option as far as I can see is to purchase another CS2 to CS5 upgrade (thus wasting the CS5 to 5.5). I also thought now 5.5 is out CS2 to CS5 would be cheaper. However I cannot even find that upgrade anymore.
Can anyone help and tell me if they know where to get it??

There is no such thing. Adobe always plucks all legacy versions from the market whenever there is a new version coming out and for that same reason there is no discounted older upgrades. So unless you can find a authorised reseller who may still have a dusty CS5 physical upgrade package on his shelf this is going nowhere, I'm afraid. I don't really see a problem here, though - you can buy valid upgrades from CS2 to CS5.5. So what's the hold-up?

I purchased an iCloud upgrade for 10GB of storage yesterday but do not need it after I deleted my old iPhone 4 backup since I upgraded to an iPhone 5 and was able to restore my iCloud data. It says at the patent window that I need to contact Apple within 15 days to refund if I want to cancel but when I call them they tell me to use express lane for iTunes who then emails me back saying this is not dealt with in their department. HELP! I'm getting the run around. The statement to contact apple for refund made this seem so easy and commonplace. Why won't anyone help?!

Upgrade purchased Movies to HD or iTunes Extra

Two part question:
1) if I have already purchased the standard def version of a movie, can I upgrade that to HD paying only the price difference between the two?
2) if I have already purchased a movie in iTunes, and now that movie has iTunes extra content available for the same price, is there anyway to get that content? (maybe similar to the way they used to allow you to upgrade to iTunes+ from previously purchased song tracks?)

When will Captivate 6 users with upgrade purchased be sent Captivate V7 for installation?

We purchased Captivate 6 in January 2013 with the 2 year maintenance/upgrade plan so that any new releases within 2 years would be included. Since V7 has been released within the 2 year period, when will Adobe contact us for our upgrade to 7?
I was told to be patient and that Adobe would email the customers with information (typically within 2-4 weeks from the release). However, it has been more than 2-4 weeks.
Has anyone upgraded with a maintenance plan yet?

Transfer Mountain Lion upgrade, purchase to new Apple ID

I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion on my Macbook Pro using my old Apple ID. Now I have a new Apple ID and want to transfer my purchase. Is this possible, and if so, how?

The license for any OS purchased at the app store is tied forever to the Apple ID used to purchase it - if you want to download it on another computer, you will need to use the same Apple ID you used to purchase it. That cannot be changed.
You can also purchase it again with a new Apple ID......

Apple does not have a trade-in or upgrade program. If you want a new iPhone, from Apple, you'll have to purchase such and either sell your 4S or give it away.
Apple has contracted with a third-party to run a recycle program, but you'll get far more money selling the phone yourself on eBay or similar:

I’m glad to hear you upgraded to one of our fabulous Smartphones. As SuzyQ mentioned, ringtones that were previously purchased will not automatically transfer over when you upgrade your device. However, these ringtones are available for repurchase through My Media Retrieval if you login to My Verizon. Have a wonderful night!

i purchased an in-app upgrade for quickoffice for my iphone. i had to reset my phone and when i used my icloud to put everything back on my iphone it showed me as not having purchased the upgrade. since quickoffice lite is no longer available, the only option is quickoffice pro. which i had previously purchased in an in-app upgrade. apparently my account recognized taking my money but not having uograded it. yes when i purchased the upgrade, i was able to use the features in quickoffice pro, but my device still recognized it as quickoffice lite(which is no longer available). in conclusuion, What the F?

Registering the trial version as an upgrade purchase

I have LR V2 and downloaded the trial version of V3. If I want to purchase the upgrade version, would I just purchase that, get the serial #, and when I enter that # in the trial registration area, will it know that is an upgrade serial # and then prompt me for my LR V2 serial #? Or, will I have to uninstall the trial and download/install the upgrade version?

There is no difference from the trial version and the "real" version other than entering a serial number.
If you already had LR2 installed, then installed LR3 and entered the serial number, it will probably not ask for your LR2 serial. Depending on how you uninstalled LR2, that is.
Bottom line, you should be fine without uninstalling/installing.

Quicktime MPEG-2 upgrade purchase

I just purchased an upgrade for quicktime to view MPEG2 for 19.99.... (VOB files?)
I bought this mac and all I feel like all I'm doing is purchasing stuff (software and hardware) to make things work that automatically worked or were free on PC... ugh...
I got a confirmation email of my purchase, but no link or code key/auth code to the upgrade.. Can I update this plug in via Quicktime or do I go through MAC's site? other? thx for any help.

The purchase is only required if you want to convert mpg-2 to something like DV with MPEG Streamclip. The Apple Pro applications that need the MPEG-2 Component come with it included.
You can view mpg-2 VOB files with the free VLC Media Player.
