Upgrading UCCX 7.0 (1) Build 109 to 7(0)2

How can i upgrade the  uccx 7.0(1)bulld 109  to  Version 7(0)2,
when i start 7.0.1SR01_build210 ,which is the  first avaialble download,  it stop and prompt the error, this build is meant for   7.0.1SR01_build168.
this are the  available upgrade file ,  but  build  168 is not available..
7.0.1-SR01_Build210
7.0.1-SR03_Build011
7.0.1-SR04_Build443
7.0.1-SR05_Build504
IPCCEx-7.0.2-254.iso .
Does any body come across this situation, how can i get the  7.0.1SR01_build168.

You can upgrade to 7.0(2) from 7.0(1)SR5 which in can be installed from any of the preceding four SRs or the base 7.0(1) release. The compatibility matrix lays this out in the Upgrade Paths cell for each release.
So, why are you attempting to install 7.0(1)SR1? This seems like an unnecessary hop.

  • Upgrade of Solaris 10 from build 69

I am currently running build 69 and I cannot connect my production server to the internet. How can I upgrade to the latest 03/05 version of Solaris 10 without doing a reinstall?
    thanks,
    Jason

Formally speaking, it's not supported. There are known bugs in the postinstall and upgrade actions across so many builds.
That said, if you're confident in your ability to repair configuration errors and reseed the smf(5) repository, I have heard of upgrades that were successfully repaired.
There are a number of caveats that are unavoidable: zone upgrades will not work, duplicate components are possible, etc.

  • Upgrade UCCX to Ver.8

Does anyone know of any links to documentation for upgrading UCCX from ver. 7 to ver. 8?
It's my understanding that Ver. 8 is Linux based and there are tools to convert the DB to this format.
Has anyone completed this migration and do you have any tips of tricks?
    Any info would be helpful..
    Thanks...

    Hi Joe,
You need to use PUT (PreUpgradeTool) to take backup from UCCX version 7. This tool facilitates the
process of backing up data from your CRS or Unified CCX cluster.
PUT software is available for download in the Cisco download area.
Please read the "Upgrading to Unified CCX 8.0(1)" section from the following document for complete detail:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_8_0/installation/guide/uccx801ug.pdf
You will require an upgrade license during the restoration of data from 7.x to 8.x and this licenses requires PAK key.
You can obtain upgrade license from http://www.cisco.com/go/license or mail the information to [email protected]
You may find the following blog useful for UCCX licensing:

  • HSE support CSS WebNS 7.20 Build 109 ???

    Hi together,
    at http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/chse/1105/1_7_1/hse_sdt.htm
I cannot find, that HSE 1.7.1 support WebNS 7.20 Build 109
I only find support for 7.10 build 102.
    Is this correct ?
I have some problems, that the HSE did not show the correct service status at "Hosting -> Activation -> <device> -> <owner> -> <content rule> -> service".
eg service is "suspend" HSE show me "active".
I cleared my browser cache and push the refresh button several times.
If I mark the service and press "Status" I get the correct status and correct colour on the screen,
If I push "refresh" again, the view show me a green colour for the service, what is definitely wrong.
So another question is, where does the HSE stores the infos about the CSS status:
    - If I mark a service and press "Status" all look fine. It seems that the HSE send a snmp request
    - If I push the refresh button, service is displaey wrong. Does the HSE use an internal database to build up this view ?
    thanks in advance
    sascha

    Hi Sascha,
Please see here for the supported devices list for HSE 1.7.3.
    http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/chse/1105/1_7_3/hse_sdt.htm#9983
It does _NOT_ support WebNS 7.20 yet.

  • After upgrading to Mountain Lion, Interface builder starts up with an error every boot.

I've got a late 2008 Macbook Unibody 13", and a few months back I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion.  Ever since the upgrade, at every boot up Interface Builder starts up with an error.  I've just ignored it mostly, but now I'm getting annoyed with it.  How can I find the programs that start up every boot to research this, or stop it from loading Interface Builder every time?

You have to delete it using the minus sign at the bottom. The check/un-check is for hiding items.

  • WRT160Nv2: no internet after upgrade to 2.0.03 build 007

    hi,
Recently I've expanded my home-network (2 wireless netbooks) with 2 wired pc's. Since then, the internet connection sometimes fails. Vista (on one of the wired pc's) reports it cannot reach the dns-server. I was using a WRT160N v2, firmware 2.0.02 build 011.
Linksys offers a newer version of the firmware: 2.0.03.007.
I've tried to upgrade the firmware a few times. The upgrade seems to happen without any problems. Every time, the connection between the pc and the router returns, but the connection between the router and internet fails.
I've tried hard-resetting the router, turning the router on and of, but the internetconnection doesn't return.
A downgrade from 2.0.03.007 to 2.0.02.011 solves the problem with the internetconnection, but the dns-issue returns...
Anyone with the same experience? Any thoughts? Thnx,
    erik jan
    the netherlands

    Binky,
Thanks for your reaction. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, but the router is up and running again, after the downgrade (although the internet connection is sometimes intermitted, as described before)..
It's just that I would like to upgrade, to maybe solve the intermitted internet connection, only thing is that after an upgrade, there is no internet connection at all..
I've entered all the settings, even loaded a previously saved config-file, but no luck...

  • How do I upgrade to latest 1.2 build for ZTE Open?

    I saw on this thread:
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/992324?esab=a&s=zte+open+1.2&r=0&as=s
it was being discussed that if you updated to 1.2 pre-release, you ran into a potential major issue which is the notification tray does not slide down. I, unfortunately have run into this problem. Is there anyone who can provide steps on how to pull the latest build from git and compile it so I can fix this? I'm afraid my technical expertise has hit a wall in this case.
I have the ZTE Open from Ebay, MacOSX 10.9.2
I installed 1.2 through my terminal using this tutorial:
    https://hacks.mozilla.org/2014/01/upgrading-your-zte-open-to-firefox-1-1-or-1-2-fastboot-enabled/comment-page-1/#comments
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, thanks for the response. Yea, I ended up finding a compiled FFOS 1.3 on xda-forums and installed in. So at least the phone pretty much works again and it's 99% there.
Thanks again for the response and this thread can be closed/resolved now. :)

  • Upgrading UCCX version 7.X to 10.X

I am little confused ,since CCX running on 7.0 in windows platform, how can i upgrade to 10.0 in Linux platform,
CCX is running on MCS 7825 server,what is possible way to migrate and upgrade!!!

    Hi,
    As per the following link
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/customer-collaboration/unified-contact-center-express/116797-technote-uccx-00.html
UCCX Version 10.0 does not support Windows-to-Linux upgrades. This means that any UCCX version from Version 7.0(2)ES3 and earlier cannot be upgraded in a single step to UCCX Version 10.0. Windows UCCX installations must first be upgraded to the latest Service Update (SU) on Version 8.5(1), or to the latest SU on Version 9.0(2). Then, that version can be upgraded to UCCX Version10.0. As of November 15, 2013, the interim versions for Windows to Linux upgrade to UCCX 10.0 were 8.5(1)SU4 and 9.0(2)SU1.
Refer to Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (Cisco Unified CCX) Software and Hardware Compatibility Guide for the latest information on UCCX upgrade compatibility.

  • Powerbuilder application crashes after upgrade to 12.5.2 (build 5006)

I have already seen few similar posts on this forum for similar issue. However, I feel mine is different from those and could be some basic steps am missing. Thanks in advance for any comments.
We are evaluating the effort and benefits of migrating our PB 10.2.1 (build 9731) application to  PB 12.5 Classic. After downloading the trial version from the SAP site, I could migrate the application easily with only a handful of warnings. However, while running the application either from build (EXE) or from IDE, it crashes (windows application failure) frequently. In addition to that, few of our application screens opens as blank screen (doesn’t display anything in the DW attached).
My operating system is Windows 7 (32 bit) Service Pack 1. The application has many calls external DLLs (both windows standard and custom), as samples at the bottom. I believe that the correct (from PB 12.5) DLLs are copied to Powerbuilder home directory (C:\Software\Sybase\PowerBuilder 12.5 & C:\Software\Sybase\Shared\PowerBuilder) and the source code directory in my attempt to ensure that there are no issues with DLLs. However, initially I had installed powerbuilder 12.5 also under the same root as Power builder 10.0, but as I read few posts that DLLs from different version residing in same place can cause issues, uninstalled and installed PB 12.5 on different location.
Our PB application also interact with the .Net modules of the application by communicating through a custom DLL. However, that seems still working and I am able to open the .Net screens from the migrated application.
Below are the main scenarios in which the application crashes and every time I get a DLL error as given below.
    1. While running the application from IDE and selecting ‘Exit’ from the main window. This will close any instantiated objects and close the mutex by calling the windows API.
function ulong CreateMutexA(ulong lpMutexAttributes, boolean bInitialOwner, ref string lpName) library "kernel32.dll" alias for "CreateMutexW" function ulong GetLastError() library "kernel32.dll" alias for "GetLastError;Ansi"
function ulong CloseHandle(ulong hMutex) library  "kernel32.dll" alias for "CloseHandle;Ansi"
This will result in the below crash.
Faulting application name: PB125.EXE, version: 12.5.2.5006, time stamp: 0x50f93412
Faulting module name: kernel32.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17932, time stamp: 0x503275b9

    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\kernel32.dll
    Report Id: 8feef8fc-aa65-11e3-8049-f500274aecdc
    2. Opening of certain windows results in the below crash. If I try to debug the code and move mouse over the line of code being executed, then also I get the same crash. I don’t do the mouse move then I can proceed with the same line, however it will crash at a later line calling ‘classname’.
    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: PB125.EXE

    3. Few of the application screen opens but doesn’t display the datawindow attached to it.

... many calls external DLLs (both windows standard and custom),
You have a very complex application and it is unlikely that you will receive much help in this type of setting.  As Chris has already pointed out, previous efforts appear to have been done in a sloppy manner; something indicated by the ANSI qualifiers on API functions that are not needed or relevant.  In addition, the PB alias of CreateMutexA for the API function CreateMutexW is also suggestive.
I believe that the correct (from PB 12.5) DLLs are copied to Powerbuilder home directory (C:\Software\Sybase\PowerBuilder 12.5 & C:\Software\Sybase\Shared\PowerBuilder)
You should be very very careful about doing things like this.  One should not simply scatter DLLs across directories without very good reasons as it often leads to strange problems.  On a machine with the IDE installed, you should allow PB to install everything where it wants them.  Copying or moving files is something done as a last resort - it is certainly something that you need to document in case you need to undo it or redo it at a later time.
Lastly, you might reconsider attempting this with the trial version.  I don't how "current" the trial version is but I suspect it might be a bit buggier than the most current maintenance build.  I'm guessing that you will have to do a bit more than recompiling to get the functionality related to "opening .Net screens" working.  It might help to try creating a new application and put in some basic functionality to interact with all of these external processes, screens, dlls, etc since I suspect this is where the bulk of your problems exist.

  • Upgrade from 10.1.2 build 1811 to 10.1.2.1 build 1913

I was having some build issues in 10.1.2 and downloaded 10.1.2.1 this morning. According to the instructions I could find, I created a new directory (OraBPELPM_2) and extracted all files into it. I started the application using C:\OraBPELPM_2\jdev\gin\jdevw.exe. The first time it came up it asked about migrating from another version. I pointed it to the appropriate 10.1.2 directory, answered "yes" to all options and brought up the IDE. When I double click on the bpel file in the "Applications - Navigator" pane I get the source code, but no graphical representation. When I right click on the project I do not see a "deploy" option.
Are there steps I missed? Is there a document that describes the exact steps required for someone who is new to the applicaiton?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I think that is is hard to ewxplain why it happened as you describe it. If it was reproducable, one would be able to talk about a defect, but since it isn't I thik you will have to live with it. If ever it can be reproduced, let us know.
Oracle JDeveloper 10.1.3 comes with a lot of new functionality and coding features. Once production you wont want to go back to 10.1.2 after trying 10.1.3

i didn't have any success to fix mail flow, any solution?

    Hi Alireza
    The above tech-net http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/24056.what-the-crash.aspx
will be applicable only if we get these events in the app log 1019,1018,1036,4999
You can check the transport service is running in which service account - Local or network
It should be running in network account by default.
You can run get-transportagent and check if there are any transport agents installed
If you find them then disable all the transport agents that you have installed on the Exchange servers by running disable-transportagents
Disable the antivirus if you have any installed.

  • Is HP still "Whitelisting" upgrade/replacemnts on new computer builds?

Just wanted to confirm what I read on one of these forums -  that HP stopped whitelisting a few months back.  So if I configure and buy a new one(not off the shelf), I will be able to upgrade say the wireless card with an intel card of my choice.

    Hi,
This is a 64 million dolars question. HP (and other vendors) only supports which has been tested and published on the support site (usually Maintenance and Service Guide). Even so, this may vary from country to country.

  • Quick easy question, upgrading UCCX 7.1SR5 to 8.0.2

I ordered CCX-UPG-P-70-80= (CCX PRE 7.0 to 8.0 PRE UCSS Major Upgrade) to upgrade our servers, however, we have 2 servers in a high availability enviroment. I am thinking i should have ordered CCX-UPG-PHA-70-80= (CCX PRE HA 7.0 HA to 8.0 HA PRE UCSS Major Upgrade). Looks like i made a mistake???
Also, do i put 2 in the number to order?

Correct, you need the PHA one, and you only need one.  Unless you want the second set of media for convenience.

  • Having trouble upgrading from LR 5.5, build 968504 to Lightroom 5.6

I have the non-creative cloud, purchased version of LR 5.5, and I am receiving an alert that an update to 5.6 is available.  I have downloaded the update several times, and have tried to run it, but it gives the option of "Repair" or "Uninstall".  When I choose repair, it seems to go through an update routine, but it does not actually update the version to 5.6.  Instead, it remains at 5.5, and I continue to get the "Update" alert.  Any thoughts?

It sounds like you’re running the 5.5 installer over and over, or already have LR 5.6 installed but maybe the shortcut you’re using is still to 5.5?
In any case, you can download the LR 5.6 update directly from this page:  ttp://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates
