Upgrading with Best Buy

Hey guys one question this last time, if i upgrade with Best Buy is there any faults or anything else associated with it? Before i attempt to get an ally phone..or something free

When you upgrade through a third party, be aware that you are signing, effectively, two contracts ... one with Verizon, and one with the retailer. Read carefully, know the limitations and restrictions that go along with the retailers "deal", and if you can live with that, then get the deal.
Many times you cannot make ANY changes to the plan for 6 months (increase minutes, add texting, etc...) or swap phones on the line without getting slapped with the ETF. As long as you are aware of and OK with what you are agreeing to, Best Buy may well be your Best Buy . . .

I dropped my iPhone 4s and the back cracked and it now will not turn on. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimated price to fix it. And I do have insurance on it with best buy. I'm on Verizon's phone plan so I don't know if it would be cheaper to have it fixed with Best Buy or Verizon. I cracked my iPod a little bit ago and got a refurbished one for free with the insurance on it but I don't now if it would be different because it is a phone. I don't know really anything about this stuff so any information that could possibly help me is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's only for the iPhone 5. On the 4 and 4S, they can repair the back glass in store for $30. They will not replace the display on a 4 or 4S. They must replace the entire phone. Replacing the display on them requires disassembling the entire phone, which they will not do in store.

  • Upgrading a phone with Best Buy vs. Verizon Wireless directly

Thanks for reading.  I'm eligible for my upgrade with Verizon on 12/19.  I've noticed that Best Buy has the Samsumg Galaxy S III I want to purchase for $50 less than Verizon Wireless online and in the VZW stores.
I questioned Verizon reps directly about the pricing and they stated that if I purchased my phone from BB instead of with them the following would/could happen:
    1)  I may no longer get my 20% PNC discount for monthly service
    2)  I would not be able to purchase Verizon's protection plan, only Best Buy's
    3)  If something went wrong with the phone I couldn't contact Verizon, only Best Buy with replacements, issues etc.
    4)  Best Buy (or any other vendor) would/could ask me to sign their own agreement which could hinder me from changing my plan, adding features and other limitations I would not have otherwise.
    5) Best Buy will push my upgrade date back four months, that’s why the price of the phone may be lower.
Can someone debunk or shed some light on this?  If the above are true I'll probably spend the extra $50 to go directly to VZW.  I have the chat log if anyone would like me to share.
Also, by the way Best Buy, I've been to the cell phone area of the Mall Woods Best Buy in Dayton, Ohio three times in the last week to play with phones and not once did anyone ask me if I had questions or needed help.  For some reason, this is an issue with this store.  TV's, Video Games, Car Audio always have more than enough associates and everyone is very helpful, but there are only two associates in cell phones and the lines to even talk to someone are always absurd.
    Thanks!

    1. Not true, your discount still applies.
    2. Not true. You can still use Verizon's insurance, though Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection has a $0 deductible
    3. Not true, you are still a Verizon customer and have the manufacturer's warranty.
    4. Not true, Best Buy Mobile has no secondary agreements you need to sign.
    5. Not true, your contract extension is the same as it is through Verizon.
Did you visit a Verizon retail store? Please remember that many of these stores are owned by third-parties and the reps are on commission, and they have a personal interest in you buying from them. In this case it appears you were completely lied to.

  • Considering upgrading through Best Buy instead of AT&T.

So here it is again- the end of my 2 year contract. I have had many versions of the iPhone since they launched in 2007 and instead of upgrading from my iPhone 4 to the lackluster iPhone 4S, I am deciding to shake it up. I am going to go the route of android.
More specifically the Galaxy Note. It was meant to be. It even comes out on my birthday. It's a Phablet. Just like I always wanted.
    But I digress.
A friend told me about the awesome promotions going on through bestbuy. The $50 gift card (already signed up for it.) and the free case that comes with the galaxy note if you preorder it.
It is clearly the better deal to go through best buy, but I guess I have a few questions:
    1. Can I preorder the phone at the store or do I have to do it online? I would like to be able to use the $50 gift card towards the phone (As it says I can in the fine print) rather than waiting for the gift card to arrive.
    2. I am not the account holder (my mother is.) but I am an authorized on the account. Should I have her come with me or do I just need her info?
    3. Does best buy typically get the phones in stock on the Release date (In this case the 19th) or later than that?
    Thanks for reading.

'manufacturer warranty = from manufactr so is same no matter seller of item. buy item, it comes w manufacturer warranty, whatever it is. period.
protection plans are a best buy (or competitor store) warranty. if you like terms, fine, if not, dont add it to order. stores will still take yr $ -- and you can still buy items at sale prices advertised. salesperson earns lower commission is all.
cell  carriers also offer own protection plans, fwiw.  your call to add to your plan -- or not.
any or all of above may be considered a ripoff or added value, your call. but are addititonal to sale of item poster is considering.
prices on phones on bestbuy generally are NOT a ripoff, when we purchased ours was handled well, from moving address books etc to new phones to setup email accts, to not messing up the plan we wanted...
also, bestbuy will take the Sprint upgrade discount right off the purchase price, so you walk out the door spending less/ get taxed on a lower price. most other places make you mail in a Sprint rebate form and wait for weeks/months to get a check in the mail.

  • Done With Best Buy, Thanks to TRE

Bought a $40 memory card for my wife's camera a few days ago.  Found a better deal online (surprise surprise) and returning the memory card--unopened--the next day.  The rude, obnoxious clerk (typical of what you find at BB stores these days) bluntly informed me---in front of 10 other people standing in line---that this would be the last return I would be allowed to do for 90 days because I return too many items to the store.  Wow.  First, I rarely return anything to BB stores unless it's a defective product---like the iPhone windshield mount that I had to return 3 times before finally getting one that didn't stop working a week later.  I've certainly never bought a TV on Super Bowl weekend, just to return it on Monday.  I'm certainly no fraud/scam artist either.
If you are going to insist on treating your customers this way, fine.  I can tell you how I feel about that by speaking with my wallet.  It cost you a sale that night, since I had items in my hand to purchase before being embarrassed in front of a dozen people by a clerk and some obscure rule/software program that is obviously flawed.  You guys must not be paying attention to trends as they relate to electronics sales....there's a reason you're the only dinosaur left...and with policies like this, your time is going to run very short indeed.
You can bet I'm going to Twitter/Facebook on this as well...

    Good afternoon FortWorthGuy,
Welcome to the forum! While I wish you had better cause in posting, I greatly appreciate you sharing your experience with The Retail Equation with us. It’s regrettable to hear that you may have found the memory card for your wife’s camera elsewhere for a better deal; enough so that you felt it warranted returning it.
The Retail Equation (TRE) is a separate company from Best Buy that we, as well as many other retailers, use to monitor returns and exchanges on an individual level. The information collected to monitor these returns and exchanges is electronically secured in accordance with state and federal laws regarding customer privacy. For more information about The Retail Equation for Consumers, you should feel welcome to visit their website here.
I apologize if you have found this policy to be a deterrent to shopping with us, and hope that you will provide us a chance to win you back in the future. It is certainly not meant to cause this reaction, and I am truly glad that you've chosen to provide us with your feedback. If you should have any questions, please let me know!

  • Verizon phone upgrade at Best Buy?

I was wondering that since im on a family plan and am not the" Primary Line" will the person who is the primary line have to come into the store with me when i get my upgrade?

Ok, this what I can tell you from experience:
In a 'Family Plan' there is an 'Account Owner', the person whos name is on the bill, basically the primary line. There could only be one Account Owner, but you can switch to any other number on the line. Then there is an 'Account Manager', who can do almost anything the Account Owner can do. I only know one restriction so far: If the Account Manager wanted to have their own line, they have to get permission from the Account Owner or the Account Owner have to be there to start it. There could be more than one Account Manager in one family plan. If you are not either one of these people, you can't do alot. You can't get Techincal Support inside a VZW store, change the plan, pay the bill, and recieve an upgrade. Getting an upgrade is 'signing a new contract', and you can't make account changes without one of these people.

  • Have Best buy instal Ram upgrade on my macbook pro.

A couple months ago I bought a macbook pro 13 in from best buy and today I just bought the crucial 8gb ram upgrade for it. I have the tech support and best buy accidental warranty for my macbook. How to I get them to install it for me?

Yeah whoops it does say hardware installation on the list of covered items... somehow I glanced right over it.

  • Best Buy has Zero iPhone4s but the AT&T store NEXT DOOR has 80 (with more arriving!)

Best Buy in Mount Laurel, NJ (1400 Nixon Drive) has ZERO iPhone 4s as of 6 PM on 6/28. Despite preordering on the 15th and I am still waiting with no word on when my phone will be in.
So I call the AT&T store that is located NEXT DOOR @ 1420 Nixon Drive. I mean it is literally right next door in the strip mall. I'm told that they received 80 phones today and are expecting a shipment of 60 to 80 MORE phones tomorrow. The rep told me that they will have extra phone for walk-ins, but it's going to be first come-first served, etc.
    I mean, C'MON! It's like a bad joke.
I've heard the arguement "it's not us, it's Apple" from Best Buy, but I guess I'm not clear on why Best Buy seems to have no leverage to get their pre-orders expedited.
Heck, I don't understand why Best Buy can't, at minimum, get a straight answer from Apple about where/when Best Buy will be getting replenishment stock.
As a customer, I don't care who's "fault" it is - in my opinion, it's Best Buy's fault. Obviously, there's no universal shortage of iPhone 4s when the AT&T store is getting extras and Best Buy can't fullfill it's preorders from the 15th.
IMO, the problem is that Best Buy must have a pretty weak relationship with Apple to be treated this way. As a small business owner, if one of my suppliers was jerking me around like this, I'd sever the relationship. (Sure, I know this is more complex, but the principle is that Best Buy has a bunch of angry customers due to Apple's lack of support. That's a BAD business relationship, when your partners force you to lose crediblilty with customers).
I'll never pre-order from Best Buy again. But you can blame Apple for that ...

It simply amazes me that Best Buy continues to point fingers away from themselves.  I understand the RS situation.  They've never been what I'd consider an outlet for this type of situation.  While sad, RS's ineptitude doesn't surprise me.  Best Buy's does.
That tells me there are more fundamental problems with Best Buy.  They either don't have a good relationship with their vendors (in this case, Apple).  Or, they really don't have a handle on inventory and shipping basics.  Maybe, as has been suggested, there's something amiss with employees taking the customer pre-orders and putting their family and friends in front of them.  Still, this has happened at seemingly every Best Buy store.  That tells me the problems with Best Buy are very widespread.
As I posted before, I just walked into an AT&T store yesterday and bought a 32GB iPhone 4, no reservations.  Others have reported doing the same.  AT&T probably has fewer stores than Best Buy.  And, from what I can tell, have smaller iPhone stock than Best Buy.  Yet, they handled it much better.
All pre-orders were filled first.  Then, walk-ups were allowed to buy.  No employees were allowed to buy them, under any circumstance, for anyone, until the customers were taken care of first.  Simple concept.  Apparently, too simple for Best Buy to understand.

  • Is there any obvious benefit to buying my imac from the apple store vs. Best Buy?  Saves $40 so I am contemplating not haggling with crowds at Apple Store.  Any thoughts?

is there any obvious benefit to buying my imac from the apple store vs. Best Buy?  Saves $40 so I am contemplating not haggling with crowds at Apple Store.  Any thoughts?

Return policy may be different from Apple's vs Best Buy. Regardless of crowds, only buy from Apple. Dealing with Best Buy in the future, if there's a problem it may not be worth what you believe to be a $40 savings.

Is there anyway you can try to get more images/videos for the Battlefield Hardline? Personally I found BF4 a disappointment from BF3 so I am still 50/50 on even ordering this one.
Any news for PC GTA V yet?

  • Best Buy, what is a loyal customer worth?

I have never written this type of message before but I felt this to be important for Best Buy to read. I was in retail for 37 years. I started out stocking shelves and ended my career a Senior Director. What I experienced in the last 3 days over a cell phone purchase with Best Buy is certainly why businesses today are not truly worried about developing loyal customers.
I was in the market for an i-phone 6 plus and went on line searching for any kind of deal on this phonefor Christmas. On Best Buy.com in bold print was the offer, "Receive a Free $150 Best Buy gift Card when you purchase any Verizon Smartphone with a NEW 2-year or Edge activation." I printed off this copy and went in to a store and asked about the promotion. I was told they had none of the phones, the deal was over on Friday so there was nothing they could do. I went to another store and got the same story. Feeling defeated I went home and got back on my computer and there was an e-mail from Best Buy saying I left this phone in my cart, are you still interested? I decided to call customer service and ask about the promotion and if I could get the phone. I got a guy named Ralph who said he was familiar with the promotion. They had phones to order on line and would help me all the way through. He did say that he was not sure if this meant just for new customers, but he said it does not say that so I will go through your purchase with you and make sure you get the gift card.
He helped me all the way through and said at the end of the transaction was when they would get me the gift card. At the end, the gift card offer still did not come up and he said, "now I see in my notes you will receive an e-mail from us within 4 hours with a link for you to get the gift card." Well, that did not happen. I waited for Friday after Thanksgiving and called customer service. This person said you get the gift card when you activate the phone. Just take the phone to the store when it arrives, activate the phone and that is when you will get the gift card.
My new phone came today and so I took it into Best Buy. I handed the associate my printed copy of the promotion and my phone and told him, I wanted to activate the phone, but only if I was going to receive the $150 Best Buy gift card. He proceeded to tell me that the promotion was last week but the "New 2-year activation" was only meant for new Verizon Customers. I asked him where it said that. He said "that is what it means" the Verizon person told us that. I again tried to tell him, I would be signing a "new 2-year activation" with the activation of the phone but I was already a Verizon Customer. He said that is an upgrade 2-year activation, not a new customer 2-year activation. I again pointed out that this distinction was not made in the add. He called his boss. His boss said the same thing that the add "meant" new customers. I said so it does not say that but I am supposed to know what it means. He told me this was a Verizon promotion and that is what they told him. So I asked if I could take this over to Verizon and would they honor it? His words" they won't, they are worse than we are."
At this point I could not beieve my ears and I said I will just return the phone. This $150 Best Buy gift card, that would be used on your merchandise with your margins would maybe have cost you $75. I will probably not purchase anything at Best Buy for a long time unless I have to. My story will certainly be discussed at gatherings as we all talk about our Christmas shopping trials, good deals and bad experiences.  Best Buy, was it worth it? Do you even care? If you want to make this right, you can e-mail me at the e-mail address associated with my "unboxed" account.

    Hello putter,
Welcome to the forum. I'm very sorry for the delay in replying to your post. It's always a smart idea to look for a good deal when you are ready to upgrade your phone. It sounds like you received conflicting information when you tried to take advantage of the promotion, and I sincerely apologize for any frustration, and disappointment this has caused. I also hope I can provide further clarification.
Per the terms and conditions of the promotion, which you can view in the link MMaier kindly provided, it states: "Valid only for customers NEW to Verizon." I'm very sorry if the agent that helped you when you called was not aware of this information. Using the e-mail you registered on the forum I was able to locate your information, and viewed that you have since returned the phone. Are you still interested in purchasing a new phone? Is there any way I could further assist you? We truly do appreciate our loyal customers, and I assure you I will also be documenting your comments for further employee training.
Thank you again for posting here on the forum, and I hope you will give us another chance in the near future to offer you a much better experience.
    Respectfully,

  • Best Buy Rips Me Off Yet Again

DO NOT SHOP AT BEST BUY!
    Now here is why...
September 2013: I went with my mom to the Easton store to get her a laptop. While we were waiting the guy told us that we could save $50 on the laptop if I added a mobile hotspot to my phone plan. So I looked into it and it wasn't gonna cost me anymore a month so I did it. Meanwhile I had the guy (Patrick) look up to see when I was eligible for upgrades on my two lines. He said I was now. So we looked at phones and I got an iPhone 5c for $50 after my trade in and a Samsung Galaxy 3 for Chuck for free. So my total bill was $50, which my mom paid for since I was getting the $50 taken off of her laptop for the hotspot. Meanwhile in order to do the trade in the guy says he needs my credit card in order to get me my money back. So I give it to him and ask him 4 DIFFERENT TIMES "this is not going to charge me right?" Each time he assured me it would not. So we finished everything up and went on our way.
Flash forward to Octobers Cell Phone Bill: I receive my cell phone bill and it is almost $800!!! Immediately I call AT&T and she tells me that the guy at best buy screwed everything up. First of all she says I do not need a mobile hotspot (which was gonna end up costing me $40 a month which the guy never told me) because my iPhone works as a mobile hotspot. The she tells me my line got put on a family share plan and Chucks line got put on its own MEXICO TALK PLAN! Why would I need a Mexico talk plan? Luckily AT&T was nice and credited almost everything back.
Flash Forward again this time to today: I just recently paid my credit card off in full. I was so proud of myself. Well today I look at my statement and my available credit is missing $100. So I call and the lady tells me that I was charged 6 times for $10.69 each and 4 times for $10.74 each by GEEK SQUAD! So she gives me their number and I call. The guy at geek squad tells me it was mobile protection for an iPhone 5c and a Galaxy 3. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS PROTECTION!!! Why would I need protection through them when I already pay for it through AT&T? So the guy tells me he can cancel the protection but not refund it. At this point I get mad and say "The hell you can't" so he puts me on hold for ten minutes and comes back and says I submitted a dispute to our back office it will take 7-10 days for them to research it. Yea I'm sure that will produce results. So I am going to the Easton store tonight and I will raise hell until restitution is made!
PS: My mom had an issue with Best Buy this week also. She purchased a TV online to pick up at the Reynoldsburg store. When she got there they tell her they didn't have the TV and that they called her. She had no missed calls or messages. Meanwhile her card had already been charged. So they find the tv at the Easton store and she drives out there. She is at Easton for an hour while they jerk her around. They wanted to return the amount she paid and have her repurchase the TV! Screw that it takes 7-10 business days for return credits to post to an account. So finally they give her the TV she paid for. Then the next day she looks at her bank account and SHE HAD BEEN CHARGED TWICE FOR THE TV!!! After fighting with them in store they finally credited her account.
Moral of the story: NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP AT BEST BUY AND CONSUMER BEWARE IF YOU CHOOSE TO GIVE THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY YOUR MONEY. ALSO THEY WILL BE REPORTED!

    Hello volfan8907,
Thank you for being a My Best Buy member, and thank you for coming to Best Buy to upgrade your phones.  I apologize that the experience was not what you had hoped for or expected.
I am happy to hear that your cell phone bill concerns were addressed back in October by AT&T.  When cell phones are sold we provide a printout of both the service agreement between you and the carrier, as well as the purchase receipt for the handsets and accessories themselves so that you know what you are being sold and signed up for.  Having said that, it is also important that our Best Buy mobile sales team is able to accurately explain what you are getting.
While it is understandable to be upset if you did not realize you were being signed up for a monthly service agreement, I hope you did not cause a scene at the store, as this likely would not be productive or beneficial.  I will send you a private message to gather a little more information from you and see where things currently stand.  To check your messages log into the forum, then click on the envelope in the upper right corner.
    Best regards,

  • Best Buy Elite Plus-Worst Customer Service Department EVER.

I just spent the last 2 hours on the phone with 2 different people in the Elite Plus customer service department.  I explained the problem (wrong shipping method generated on an expedited order), the solution (annotate unshipped part of order to ensure that this does not happen again, attempt to make amends for improper shipping label) and the evidence of the error.  The first representative, after assuring me that although the mess up occured, the order would still arrive in accordance with best buy policy, stated that the only way to ensure that shipping would not mess up would be to upgrade to express shipping for $18.  After being told that I was unhappy with her solution and would like to speak to someone else, it took almost 15 minutes to get her to agree that this was what she wanted to do.  It then took another 15 minutes of wait time until another representative could be retrieved.   The second rep stated that she would have to call UPS to find out why the error occured.  I pointed out that the error could be seen on the order details.  The order had 3 parts, the 1st shipped expedited via UPS 2nd day air, the 2nd shipped standard via UPS ground and the 3rd was still waiting for release. Obviously, according to Best Buy, the customer is always wrong.  I will have to wait until the "back office" verifies that I am not lying and that my access to best buy's files is better than customer service, so that I can receive a phone call to try to solve the issue.  Nice to see that loyalty to the Best Buy franchise is such a valued commodity to the company.  I will have to make sure that I share this experience with all my friends and family, and to make sure that I take my business to a company that can fix simple errors without being dismissive and insulting.

    Hello jymie71,
I was disappointed to read about your call-in experience to discuss the issues with your BestBuy.com order. We strive to provide a superior level of service and it's clear -- based on what you describe -- that we did not live up to your expectations.  I regret the apparent confusion and inefficiency that you encountered.
In looking into your concern, I note that you called us again yesterday and accepted an accommodation for the shipping issue. Further, I'm happy to report that your shipment should arrive today.
I'm very disappointed to read that this situation may influence your future shopping destination. It's my hope that you'll give Best Buy another chance to win you over one day soon.
    Sincerely,

  • Insignia + Best Buy = Frustrating

So... I'm deciding it's time to upgrade from my 3-year-old Phillips 42in 1080i plasma I bought at C-ircuit C-ity three years ago. TV has been a true champ! After lots of looking around and comparison shopping, Best Buy has looked like the ideal place due to prices, selection, etc.
I decide on the Insignia 46in 120MHz LCD. I figure it's a simple checkout, but take the offer up on 0% financing and go through the process. This is where the frustration begins... this TV was an open-box return, so needed to be run through a special open-box system that doesn't work right. After 1.5 hours of creating new open box tags, running through computers, trying to get things working to no success, I end up having to leave and am told it'll be held for me. I'm late for a meeting at work (was over my lunch break), and I walked out with no TV.
I return the next day after work. No one can find my TV that was being held. Eventually it turns up after about 45 minutes of running through different people. I try and purchase it, but someone messed up my credit app and had incorrect info. I wait in line at customer service and have to go through more time having it all corrected and billed.
Finally, I get to bring my new TV home. I open it up, but the remote that was with it is no longer there. There was no note that is was missing, and I was told at the time there was a remote with it. My Comcast remotes don't have a code for it, so I'm kinda stuck at the moment, and probably have to go purchase a remote and hope it has comparable functionality. I get it set up, and am expecting all of the rave quality of set that I was sold on ("this house brand is all LG parts! it's amazing, that's why we stand by it at Best Buy! Stay away from Vizio, that's a frankenstein, yada yada yada" rambles sales people I've talked to at BB).
The set itself isn't the most wonderful. Grainy picture even with 1080p PS3 inputs, insane ghosting on 1080i input, etc and different than I was led to understand at the store. But here's the worst part: it shuts itself off randomly. After doing research online, this is a common defect with many models of Insignia LCDs. I can't believe that Best Buy can sell something that has such a potential issue to erupt at any time. I'm glad that mine started only within two days of purchase. How honest is it to sell lines of TVs with known defects and not at least warn customers or acknowledge the issue?
I call support, now I have to take additional time out of my day to either have techs come out and replace parts in the TV that have the same potential issue since it's a design flaw, or haul my TV back with the risk that if anything seems to happen to it in transit, I lose my warrantee. Not only that, I have to go back and invest more time and frustration with Best Buy staff who can't seem to get anything right, and after all this will offer only a refund, another of the same defective TV, or have me pay them more money to get another brand, which had they told me I'd have these issues in the first place, I would have.
Thank you, Insignia and Best Buy! Good thing I didn't go to W-al-mart, then I wouldn't have had to deal with any sales people, dishonest sales pitches, or defective house brands, and have all this extra time in my life to enjoy said TV...

Well, combining the following factors leads me to believe a high probability. It's always subjective and anything's possible, but if any of the things are true below, then I think BB has some responsibility to own up to for the TV itself:
    1. BB is supposed to gather information about returns (sales person said it was a customer return). There's a high chance that the buyer had the same issue I think.
    2. BB should have tested for issues. Since this is a common/known defect in Insignia TVs (though not formally acknowledged by either company...), this should have been evaluated before selling to another customer. Truthfully, there should be a recall and a formal solution for this issue since it's a common defect in the design and not just a quality-control issue (ala a cracked screen, bad solder connection).
And really, the reason I went with TV is because I was told this was the most amazing TV on earth, was a rebranded LG with the same level of quality, and a nice TV through-and-through with no real differences to the others outside of specs. I'm okay with someone selling me something, as long as it's honest. in the retail industry, a company is responsible for it's representations, services, and products, not me.
Bottom line, had I just went in, picked it myself, quick five-minute credit-app and point-of-sale, and found out I made a bad choice, then shame on me. BB gets involved, gives me a lousy consumer experience, misrepresents a product, and sends me home with a defective TV not up to the representation they gave, then shame on them. And I understand not everyone will see it my way from a personal opinion and standpoint, but I believe I have some valid points.
