UPK OnDemand Log Viewer - unsupported Siebel version

As we record using UPK the OnDemand Log Viewer is being populated with the following message:
SIEBEL.WAP Version check - Trying to record unsupported SIEBEL version [21215]
Should we be concerned? Can we ignore the message?

If you're not on the latest release, you may want to consider upgrading as it will provide you with support for the latest application versions. If you are already on the latest version, or if you have specific questions, I suggest you open a ticket with support: http://support.oracle.com/

WRT610N LOG VIEW

I have installed the Log Viewer from the ftp site. When I save log file the WRT610N V1 sends the log files to notepad on the XP machine. How do you get the files to show in the log viewer?

Does your Computer have any static IP ?
For a permanent record of the Router’s activity logs, Logviewer software must be used. The Log viewer saves all incoming and outgoing activity in a permanent file on your PC’s hard drive. In the Logviewer IP Address field, enter the fixed IP address of the PC running the Log viewer software. The Router will now send updated logs to that PC.When you wish to view the logs, click View Log.

UPK 3.5.1 error on publishing: Unsupported office version is installed...

We have UPK version 3.5.1 and Microsoft Word 2010. we are getting in error while trying to publish: Unsupported office version is installed. Install one of the supported versions: Office XP, Office 2003 or Office 2007.
Is it any shortcut to be able to publish without upgradiing to 3.6.1? thanks

I did some digging on our database since the release of MS Office 2010 there is no other way around but to apply the patch.
I am just a newbie and my senior tech did advise me that running UPK without the patch can be troublesome.

We have installed FIM MA with an account that have all the sufficient rights.It got created successfully and worked for Full Import and Full Sync. But, due to some version incompatabilities, we have installed a patch.PFB link for the patch.

Now, we are trying to refresh the schema of FIM MA. While doing that we are facing an error "Failed to connect to database". The user account with which we are connecting has read and write permissions on DB.In the event viewer some errors are
logged like "the current version of database is not compatible with the one expected by Forefront Identity Manager service. The current version of database is : 1116. The expected version is :1122" with event ID 3. PFB images for more detailed
view.
Please advice how to fix the issue.

Hello,
seems to me that you maybe only updated the syncengine but not portal/webservice.
I had that error once after an recovery from scratch and forgot one of the hotfixes to apply to all services.

When logging on Log Viewer, it shows de error message: Unable to invoke LogControllerFacadeMBean method:"getMetaDataOfReaders" In J2EE Visual Admin the error message after click in the item Log Viewer is Error while loading service Log Viewer
When I click in defaultTrace.trc nothing appears. The same for the others log archives listed in Log Viewer.

Make sure that you are using a supported JDK version as per note below:
723909 Java VM settings for J2EE 6.40/7.0
And also, make sure that the necessary environment variables are pointing to the correct JDK version.

Java/jre upgraded to 1.7.0.45 and JAR files regenerated(without force option). Able to opne forms without any issues.

I know when you log on in SQL *Plus it shows it, is there anywhere in SQL Developer that it can be viewed?

There is a report.
Data Dictionary Reports -> About Your database -> Version Banner
but it is probably just quicker to select * from v$version;

Parental control log viewer - still broken after all these years

I check this with every major OS X update. I know this has been a bug since 10.5, I think it goes back much further.
First, some background. In all versions of OS X there's a "logs" feature that allows an admin to see the sites a user has visited. It's the primary way for an involved parent to teach wise computer use. Set parental controls to 'automatic', let the user go, then review the logs with your favorite teen.
Problem is, the log viewer only expands horizontally. So many entries can't be read. You see only the beginning of many site labels or URLs. The window control has been broken too -- it shows the normal resize control even though it only works in one direction.
So Apple fixed it in 10.7
Not the window mind you. They fixed the control. Now it shows the window can only resize vertically.
Yes. The engineer was in the code. And they left the window broken but fixed the control.
It's a conspiracy. Apple is trying to drive me crazy.

Unsupported AMF version 17,491.

Hi all,
I'm getting the following error when I subscribe to a channel:
flex.messaging.MessageException: Unsupported AMF version 17,491.

Flex SDK Version: flex_sdk_3.0.0.477
I was having the problem described here

The AMF version is read from the binary AMF data in the body of incoming POSTs from the player. It would seem that something is corrupt in the request from the client. Can you include more of your server log preceeding this error? Corresponding client side logging would also be useful.

New Object Manager Authentication failed while logging in to Siebel Webclie

Below is the exceptions obtained while logging in to New Object manager created..
The Procedure I have executed was..Copied Siebel Data Source in Siebel Webclient [SiteMap --> Administrator --> Server Configuration --> Profile Configuration] and created new entry with updated parameters for schema,table owner.[Note: Updated table owner/schema has all view on Siebel schema and grantsql script executed.]
Then I have created a new Object manager which talks with earlier created DataSource. I have updated eapps.cfg with the entry..

First try restarting BI Services including Admin Server, Node Manager if issue still persists try below two options -
- Make sure passwords are same in below to locations
Oracle weblogic Server : Console / Home >Summary of Security Realms > myrealm > Users and Groups > BISystemUser
EM: weblogic domain > bifoundation_domain > Security > Credentials > oracle.bi.system -> system.user
- Refresh GUID's

PDK - Portal Log Viewer

I have installed PDK in our development Portal (Portal Version EP6.0 SP18).
After that I have assigned Java Developer role to myself.
If I click any of the links under... Java Development ->Tools -> Nothing is visible on right side frame.
Kindly advise me how to proceed.I am not able to debug using portal log viewer.
