Upload a File from ITS

Hello,
We are triying to upload a file using a template from ITS. We have read a lot of post about FM WS_UPLOAD, GUI_UPLOAD....We are triying with class cl_gui_frontend_services, method gui_upload. From SAP R/3 using SapLogon, the method works propertly, but from ITS (WEB), we obtain a page from service saplsit1 dynpro 100, with a text like "Wait, Automatic Redirection...." without any button or status and the process stops.
Any idea?,

Hi,
We have load the applet in dynpro saplsit1 100 (technical resons). The applet ask us to open the file
"C: ile.xml", we repond "Yes", and then the applet show us a message "File can´t read". Maybe we have a security problem, to access to our hard disk, but how can we configurate this ?.
All replies are wellcome, we´ve got a big problem with this situation...

Hi Shinu,
this seems to be a misunderstanding. The ITS does not have excel files.
Did you mean to say that you have an application which allows to upload
files? This application might work using the webgui service of the ITS.
Try it out!

I need to upload my files from one directory into other directory.

i need to upload my files from one directory into other directory.( all its contents,folders,sub folders, files etc)
for this task
suppose my source folder is C:/test/test1/test2/test3
and my destination is D:/
first i have to check whether my dest dirctory already contains source directory..and its files
if it contains the same structure then i have to replace the destination dir structure to source dir structure( to upadte changes)
if it(dest dir) not contains source dir ..means it doesn't contain source folder then
i have to create same source folder directory structure ( test.test1/test2/test3...) at destination(D:/) and copy all its contents frm source directory...
( means i don;t want to create manually same dir structure as source at destnation dir to copy all contents)

I believe you need to read up on the class File.java (it comes with java).
Some examples:
File file = new File("C:/myDirectory");
if(file.isDirectory())
System.out.println("this is a directory");
if(file.isFile())
System.out.println("this is a file").
You will then need to read up on other classes to read/write to the file such as FileReader and FileWriter.

I want to transfer a file from client's machine to server but I am not able to upload
It is tranferring the file only to the local machine

what I am doing is I am giving an option to the user that he/she can browse the file and then select any file and finally it's action is post in the jsp form for which I have sent the code
All the computers are connected in LAN

My problem is after that I've uploaded any file from my PC to KM, sometimes when I open or download it from the KM appears blank, and when I try another way to write the file (out.write()) I've uploaded a bad file that can't be downloaded or opened it. If you have got the permission to access <b>content management</b> in portal appliction server consle,then click on content management >select the KM Repository and clik on it.Then right click on <b>folder</b>>new-->upload.After clicking the upload option one page will be open and then you can browse your local file and upload to the KM Repository.

How to allow the user to upload a file from their desktop to MII Server?

Hi,
Is there a way for the user to specify a file on their local computer to upload to the MII server for processing? We have a method that works for uploading from a shared network drive, but now the need/desire is to allow the user to upload a file from their desktop.
Ideally, this would be a file browser that the user would click on to browse their local desktop and select the file and click "Upload" but not sure what's possible?
This is using 12.1 SP4.

It give the file name only

You can't edit a file with PDF Pack, but you should be able to convert it to a Word document, and if you are really lucky edit THAT and make a new PDF. Don't expect too much though!

You can do this in steps.. First use the built in method for uploading a file into the flows files object, Next you would copy the file out to an Oracle built directory on your UNIX box using utl_file.put_raw..
