Note : Quality certifiactes which is important for business,there are two types.
Incoming Certificate - while performing incoming inspection against MIGO (Vendor PO),quality inspector/engineer should prepare the certificate,this scenario is called Incoming certificate.
Outgoing Certificate - while performing Final inspection against Prod.order or Sale order delivery,quality inspector/engineer should prepare the certificate,this scenario is called outgoing certificate.
Quality certificate profile is mandatory with characterstics values.

One additional question: When I import info records using LSMW, one condition record (PB00) is created automatically. Is it possible to change the validity of that condition record using LSMW, too? Or can I only create new condition records?

To be honest I don't understand your question. When You execute LSMW and create project, then all steps are shown in a very clear way with good description. With which one you have problems?

I am trying to upload quota arrangement using IDOC method, since there is no Standard/Batch Input Method as well as Bussiness object method available for it.
I am not using Batch input recording method since no of vendors will varies depending on the plant & material comination.
I am unable to load it using IDOC as I not able to identify process code for I DOC message Type LIPEQU.
I slhall be thakful in case you can provide the same or alternative method to upload Quota arrangement in addition to Batch Input recording.

Upload of OM infotype using LSMW

Hi Experts,
I am trying to upload PA and OM infotypes data using LSMW. I was able to do PA infotype but in OM STEP 4 Maintain Structure Relationship it throws me an error No Target Structure Found.
Any inputs would be really appreciated.

Make sure that your recording of OM infotype is selected in first step of lsmw (Maintain Object Attributes). If possible share the snapshot of first step.

How to upload Methods long text using LSMW

Hi,
I am using LSMW - direct input program (Object 0001 Method - 0001) to upload methods long text.
I have two files with header and item as below
Header file:
Object : QPMETHODE
ID : QMTT
Item_id : link between header and item (method number)
NAME: Passing concatenated value of "sy-mandt, company code, Method number, 6 char space for version and language"
Language : E or S.
Item file:
Item_id : link between header and item (Method number)
Text Format : blank
Text line : long text
Here the problem is, after converting the data i have run the direct input program to upload the long text, but it is not updated in the transaction QS34.
Could any one help in this?

The field QMTT-LTEXTKZ is a flag which says whether Inspection method has a long text associated with it at transaction level. You are not able to see the Long text in the transaction though you have loaded & able to see the long text by FM READ_TEXT because in your case the field QMTT-LTEXTKZ = ' '. so I suggest you to load the long text in following way.
Step 1: make a small recording to Tx: QS33 - push the long text button to get the long text editor. in this editor, on second line of the tag, put a * and save the transaction. By this way you put a X in field QMTT-LTEXTKZ & hence register a longtext for Inspection Method.
Step 2: proceed with the loading the Long text with object 0001as you mentioned.
Now you will be able to see the LT on the transaction level.

After completion of all steps at the time of running batch input session error i am getting is "maintain EN language discription"

XIF Adapter : Upload of Business partner(Using LSMW) Telephone Numbers

I'am uploading BP data using XIF Adapter and I am using the LSMW-IDOC Method (Basic type:CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M02)
Here My client came with 4 telephone numbers, can any one please help me how can I uploade these 4 telephone numbers. when I am trying to upload by default it was accepting only the first telephone number and leaving the others

I've just asked my BI colleague to do the extract to BW. I will then write a Web Service on the BW which can be called from the external system.

Uploading of PO Details using LSMW

Hi Experts,
I am trying to upload PO details in order to create PO using u2018LSMW with recording methodu2019.
Here are the following concerns
u2022 I want to create each PO with more than one line item. However, the object which I have created is creating a PO for each line item. Can you please let me know where exactly I need to keep the loop.
u2022 u2018LSMW with recording methodu2019 is the right option to do that or do we need to use u2018LSMW with IDOC methodu2019. Please suggest me.

This preparation of the source is already pretty good.
Now you describe this source structure in LSMW:
choose step Maintain source structures in LSMW
Choose Create structure.
A dialog box appears.
Enter the name and description of the source structure (this shall become the header level)
Choose Continue.
The LSM Workbench: Source structures screen appears again. The structure you created is displayed.
create an additional structure now. When you create additional structures, a dialog box with query "Same level/subordinated" appears. choose subordinated for your item lines.
Next you define the fields for each structure.

Keep an eye at the Identifying field content, because here you tell SAP how to know which line of your source file has header data and which one has item data. In other words: Here you enter the "H" that you find in the first field of your source that defines that this line is header data.
When SAP reads a line with a H it will add the record as header data, if it dont, then it is item data.

Characteristics Upload in E&HS using LSMW

Hi Gurus,
I am using Standard LSMW ( Standard batch/direct input) to upload characteristics in E&HS.
The Details about the standard batch/direct input are :
Object : 0150
Method : 0000
Program name : RCCTBI01
Program type : B
While uploading the characteristics, I am not able to update the field CLASS TYPE (i.e. KLART) in the restriction tab( last tab in the characteristics display). I couldn't find any field to map with the source field in the standard program.
Could you please help me out in this scenario?
Any sap note needed to be inmplemented for this?

when you choose BAPI or IDOC import method, then SAP will give you all extra steps in LSWM automatically.
step 13 - Idoc generation
step 14 - Idoc processing
step 15 - create Idoc overview
step 16 - IDoc Follow-Up
if all idocs are posted succesfully, then you dont need step 15 and 16.
before you use IDOCs you have to activate Idoc processing.
It is directly in the first screen when you call LSMW, before you go into your object, choose from menu settings > Idoc Inbound processing.

Upload table T510 by using LSMW

Hi .
CAn any one help me to upload data to V_T510_C by uning LSMW.
i need to update table with rates for the dates 01.01.2010 to 31.12.2010 and 01.01.2011 to 31.12.9999 to each group and level.
For eg:
payscale type 04, payscale area:04,Payscale group z000 and level 01.
for above record rates - 01.01.2010 to 12.31.2010 is 29.1 USD
01.01.2011 to 12.31.9999 is 30.01 USD,.
Like this i need to upload for all records with different dates and rates.
Please let me know how to create the LSMW record for above senario..

I believe it is not convenient to describe LSMW creation process on this forum. Please refer, for example, to this document to learn about LSMW: http://www.scmexpertonline.com/downloads/SCM_LSMW_StepsOnWeb.doc
Then you can create your own LSMW using recording with transaction SM30 and table V_T510 (every time record only 1 record in the recording).

Error when uploading Sub-asset numbers using LSMW

Hi All,
We have a requirement in which we need to first load Main asset numbers from Legacy system through LSMW and then in the next load the sub-assets for the Main Assets created.
We are using Direct Input method(program RAALTD11) in LSMW for transaction code AS91 for loading Main Assets.
And then using a file with similar structure, but with sub-asset numbers filled for creating Sub-assets using AS94 and Direct Input Method.
While doing this, we are getting error:
AU 256 Different asset class <asset-class> in sub-number.
I have seen that there is a similar thread in SDN but the solution provided there is not useful to us, so I am raising again.
I am not using Batch input method, as it is giving rise to many screen errors like "<Field> is not an input field".
Please let me know how to get rid of this error.

ensure that the sub-asset has the same asset class than the main asset, no matter which inout method you are using.
