Could u please any one help me to create a application where i can upload a csv file from the application page in silmple way
i tried this discussions but i couldnt understand.....i m new to apex

you can create an application with your CSV file by doing the following:
1. in the Application Builder tab, click Import button
2. browse the file in your HD
3. follow the default values
this should help you create your application. you might want to refer to Apex docs for more toturials.

But I have to give the path of Form from the Application Server. As i have all the forms to be uploaed in New system on the Application Server.
I will be writing the program to program to read XML file(smartform) from application server to internal table and then upload it in the System.

But Actually I want to Automate this process of Uploading the Smartforms.
So I want to directly upload it from Application server.
As it is not possible to upload the Smartforms from Presentation Server Automatically.
In this human Intervention will be required.

You have to import your logo in SAP by SE78 before using it in a SAPSCRIPT.
So have you done it?
If yes, it depends on how you have imported the logo:
- As std text:
INCLUDE <LOGO TEXT> OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE <LANGUAGE>
- As graphic:
BITMAP <LOGO GRAPHIC> OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BCOL

Problem in uploading file from Application Server

Hi everyone,
i got a problem in uplaoding a file from application server.i am having two folder (one folder name is current and another one is processed)in application server. In current folder i am having N no of files.I want to upload all the files names into one internal table and i want to process one by one file.After processing each file the file should be moved to processed folder and the files should not exist in current folder.All these process must be done everyday.Please rectify my problem asap.

Problem while uploading file from application server to internal tab in BG

When i see the file in application server.data is like this

when download from tcode cg3y i am getting correct file
When try to use open(binary mode) and read dataset i getting data as it is (junk).
i need to process in background.

Error in uploading file from Application server

Hi
My scenario is file->XI->Idoc.I am using a senedre file adpator
My adaptar cofiguration is
transport protocol NFS
message protocol file
Adaptor engine integration server
source directory .\ (application server path of XI)
file name invoice.xml
quality of servise exactly once
poll interval 10 sec
proceesing mode test
processing seq by namefile type text
But the problem is adaptor monitoring it is showng that it it polled succesfully with green signal
but in the message montoring it is showing "Canceled with errors"
in the detail list it is showing the error category is XI_J2EE_MESSAGING_SYSTEM
and the error code is CALL_CUSTOMER_ERROR
Any one can help me in this matter?

in SXMB_MONI, go through the "Trace" header section of the message and find the exact point in which the exception occurs. Paste it here.
At a glance, it seems an RFC call that fails inside the mapping... Do you use JCo & UDF in the mapping to do some lookup/check in R/3?

I tried the same. But it not populating the table and giving an error message in the return table "line   1 col   1-unexpected symbol; expected '<', '</', entity reference, charac".
I can't find any ' ; ' in the XML file. What could be the possible reason of error?

Goto AL11 - > click on the directory path and select your file -open the file - > click on menu item List - >save/send -> file
-> select the type of file.
Or you can write a small abap code using DATASETS. If you require I will post the code.

Dump while downloading data from Application Server File in 4.6 system

Hi,
When we are trying to upload data from Application Server to internal table using dataset statements, it is resulting in a dump. System we are using is 4.6c.
When we faced similar kind of issue in ECC version, we have used the statement, Ignoring Conversion Errors.
Please let me know how to handle this situation in 4.6 System.

Get all the data into an internal table in the simple format ie: a row with one field contains an entire line
After getting the data, we split each line of the table on every occurrence of the delimiter (comma in your case)

Regarding uploading the file from Application Server

I am trying to upload a .csv file to Application Server through CG3Z tcode.
But i am getting dump ad below..
What happened?
    While a text was being converted from code page '4102' to '1100', one
    the following occurred:
    - an character was discovered that could not be represented in one of
    the two code pages;
    - the system established that this conversion is not supported.
    The running ABAP program, 'SAPLC13Z' had to be terminated, since the
    conversion could cause incorrect data to be generated.
    1 characters could not be represented (and thus could not converted).
    If 1 = 0, a second or a different error has occurred.
Please let me know..how can i resolve this??

Check if your CSV file is UNICODE encoding.
If CG3Z steel not works you can check on OSS SUPPORT if a note solve your problem.
