Upload / download BDS document buttons missing from MS Excel View dialogue

Upload / download BDS document buttons are missing from MS Excel View dialogue window.
This means that users cannot upload pre-built MS Excel templates into their own layout variants.
Test systems have this function, but production box does not. Is there an ABAP or Basis setting that is missing?

Go to t-code SE78 and click on F5 button on keyboard and upload the image from your desktop or any other folder, giving appropriate name to the graphic and check radio button ' color bitmap image' for colured docs.
This way graphics are loaded into SAP system.

Why is the panorama tab button missing from my tab bar

Just downloaded Beta 4 and find the panorama button is missing from the tab bar. Your video showing how to manipulate tabs show the button on the right hand side of the tab bar, on my download it is missing why, also some of the other bars shown in your video are missing to, why??

You can add it if you want, right-click on a toolbar and select Customize. You can then drag and drop the "Tab Groups" icon from the customize toolbar dialog onto the toolbars. You can use this method to add other icons to the toolbars.

Format menu button missing from MS Word for Mac

Hi all,
This is driving me crazy! My Word for Mac 2004 works perfectly, usually love it, but for some reason, the format menu -which I use to customize my default bullet and numbering lists, paragraph spacing etc. -is missing from the top of the screen. I've got File, Insert, View, Edit, Font, Tools, Table, Window, Work, and Help, but no Format. Lately I've been getting by just using my formatting palette and formatting toolbar, but it's really not enough. Also, the toolbar button from the Insert button is also missing.
I feel like I'm going nuts! You know how you'll look everywhere for a pair of socks and then find it right in front of your nose? Please, someone embarrass me with an easy answer!

Error in uploading BDC Models (Server name missing from URL in Property wcfmexURL)

We are using multiple Dialogue Instances in DUET Enterprise.
Problem: Before we did the Reverse Proxy Configuration for App Servers, Our BDC Models got imported in SharePoint Successfully (Correct WSS Setup and STS Urls) but After doing the Reverse Proxy Configurations, when we regenerated the BDC Models, apparently Server Name is missing from URL of the Propoerty "wcfmexurl".
Below is the Error Text:

This Error is gone after implementing the Note. Now the generated BDC Models have the correct URL for wcfmexURL property.
now we have the Following Error:

For this Error, our SharePoint Administrator is checking below Steps.
1.    1) Open “wcfmexDocumentUrl” URL in the browser and copy all SSL certificates (including Root Certificates) to a file. Then import these certificates in the Trust Relationships section. Then try the import of the BDC Models
2.
2) 2) Verifying Your server uses a virtual hostname and all the configuration (e.g. SSL certificate) is done for this virtual hostname. Also the URLs that are created and used in the BDC model are Same virtual hostnames, but not the ones from the physical server.
3. 3)Re-verify SAML Authentication type and transport security at SAP.
4) 4) Browse WSDL at SharePoint Server and verify “WSP:Policy” and in WSDL make sure that it contains an entry:

"Personas" button missing from SMEN

Hello guys,
Currently i am implementing SAP Screen Personas 2.0 on a Demo Development environment, i was able to solve some issues, but now i am stuck since the "Personas" button is missing from SMEN whether i logon from using Silverlight or HTML links, also tried with the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera from a Windows 7 x64 Enterprise Edition client machine, result is the same.
Tests are being made with a custom admin user with SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW and S_A.SYSTEM profiles which also has the /PERSOS/ADMIN_ROLE role and a customer made role with objects /PERS/AOBJ, /PERS/AUTH and /PERSOS/AD, all fields have "*" as only value.
SAP_CUS client copy was made from client 000 to working client.
In the UI Admin transaction i've made the checks and everything is green.
Details of the system:
EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SPS08
Kernel 742 PL 100
SPAM 7.40 0056
PERSOS 200 SP02.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Print Button missing from list

When I create a new project the Print option is frequently missing from the Toolbar Buttons field in Webhelp Settings. Sometimes I close the dialog, reopen it, and "Print" is miraculously there, so I can select it. Other times I can't make it display. Is there a switch somewhere, where I can indicate that I ALWAYS want the Print button? If not, how do I make it display when it doesn't? Thanks!

Whether or not you see a Print button is dependent on whether one was included in the skin you are using. Your example depicts that your skin selection is "Default". In order to see an option to include a Print button, you need to choose a skin that has one defined.

Close window button missing from my active+inactive tabs

Hi. Does anyone else have the problem of the close tab button disappearing from the tabs, irrespective of whether they are the active or inactive tab?
I can only get the buttons back by pressing the big "+" and opening a new tab and presto, all the close tab buttons appear again.
Using firefox 8 on a windows 7 laptop. Not sure if it happens every load or just sometimes, but is frequent enough to be annoying.

I have narrowed down the problem further now- it seems that when I have an open mozilla window, and then open a link from another programme (have only tried thunderbird so far), the new tab may or may not have a close tab button on it (not right 3 out of 4 times)
Didn't seem to happen when I tried safe mode, but I only tried it 3 or 4 times.
It's not a big issue for me, but I guess bugs should be figured out.

"Firewall" and "Internet" buttons missing from "Sharing" preferences page

I recently upgraded two servers to 10.4.3 (one was running 10.2 and one was running 10.3). On both servers now the Firewall and Internet tabs are missing from the Sharing preferences. Also, under the list of services on the Sharing prefs, there are only three services listed:
REmote Login, ARD, and Remote Apple Events. No other services are listed.
I found this problem because something in the firewalls changed and was blocking access to the servers via ARD. If I stop the firewall, then ARD works. So I wanted to go into the firewall settings and open up the ports required by ARD. Lo and behold, no Firewall tab on the Sharing page!
I've searched everywhere for info on what could make most of the services disappear, along with the Firewall and Internet tabs. But I can't find anything. Any ideas out there?

A call to Apple confirmed that the majority of services on 10.4 Server are now handled through Server Admin rather than through the Sharing preferences window.

Show Fonts Button Missing From Viewer

I use iMovie almost exclusively to make slideshows. I like to use iMovie because it gives me greater control over titling, Ken Burns effects, transitions and music. I never used iMovie '08 because it didn't give me those abilities as had '06.
I'm just starting to use iMovie '09 and have run into a problem. In a project that currently has two chapters, both of which have their own title and contain several photos, the Show Fonts button appears in the browser viewer only in the first chapter.
I have closed iMovie and restarted the computer, but that doesn't get the Show Fonts button back in the second (and I assume subsequent) chapters. This will be a serious problem for me if I cannot find a way to manage fonts in all chapters.
Any help will be most appreciated.

you can't change the fonts in all of the titles, just some of them.

You need write the abap program in the following manner,
1. Read the data from the excel sheet and then enforce the checks if at all any in the new program.
2. Fill all the parameters of the BAPI *BAPI_CASHJOURNALDOC_CREATE *.
3. After the above BAPI call, you need to call another *BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT *.
4. Once Transaction commit bapi is successfully executed then only you will get the document number.
Please follow all the above mentioned steps then you can create the Journal Voutures migrated from an excel sheet to SAP successfully.

Names button missing from Facbook Albums

In this video as well as the Facebook tutorial video on Apple.com it shows that when you have a Facebook album selected there should be a "Names" button on the bottom (to the left of edit.) I don't see that in iPhoto. I've tried deleting PLIST files, rebuilding the iPhoto library, reinstalling iPhoto and loosening up all the privacy/security settings on my FB account. Nothing works. Does anyone have a clue how to get this functionality? Both of these videos claim that tags created on facebook.com sync back into iPhoto and allow you to create faces on the corkboard using them, but this doesn't work at all for me. In fact it's the opposite, all tags added on facebook.com get wiped every time iPhoto 'checks' the album.

UPDATE: I do see the "Names" button if I select two or more Facebook albums. If I only have one Facebook album selected, it's missing. It's like the entire feature is broken and all iPhoto is now is a dumb uploading engine. I don't see the name tags with the Facebook F logo designating that that face/person was sync'ed over from a facebook tag.
If anyone can shed some light on this I would be extremely thankful.

After installing ios8 my iCloud setting is stuck in the upgrading mode, and some documents are missing from my pages app.

After installing the IOS8 on my ipad2, the iCloud drive is stuck in the upgrading mide. I am also missing some documents that were in my Pages app. Can anyone help my fix this issue?

I have just encountered a similar issue and I think it might have been the same as one you are getting. Turns out, I accidentally switched from my local store to US Store (App Store gives you a pop-up offering that), and purchases are tracked separately between those, causing all your purchases to become invisible.
Go to Settings, log out of App Store, log in again, and you should receive a pop-up saying that your account is associated with a different store, offering to switch back. Now all apps are back and available for download.

Totals, Subtotals and ABC Analysis buttons missing from ALV.

I have used FM REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY in my report without specifying a PF-STATUS that means STANDARD PF-STATUS is used in ALV, and moved from Quality to Production, till yesterday all the features such as Sort, Filter, Local file along with Totals, Subtotals and ABC Analysis were visible, today all buttons are visible but TOTALS, SUBTOTALS and ABC ANALYSIS buttons are missing.
I have not done any changes to the Code nor the layout.

I have checked the Layout.
In Layout in Quality there are checkboxes in Summation/Totals column in front of Numeric fields,
but these checkboxes are not visible in Layout of Production system.

Submit button missing from form, can see it in Pro but not in Reader XI

I've created and disributed forms in the past with no problem, however, when I open up my form in Reader XI, the submit button is missing. In the purple ribbon, it instructs people to click the submit button once the form is complete but there is no button showing. Help!

What does this command say:
ls -ldaeO@ Documents
If it has 'hidden' attached to it, then look at the "man chflags" command.
chflags nohidden Documents
