I have a requirement to upload employee photographs in SAP.
I have followed following steps in earlier versions which are not working in SAP R/3 enterprise edition ext set 110.Please tell the new steps:

You have to use the SAP ArchiveLink to bring in the Employee's photo into Master data. Pl see the following

HR Master Data Uploads - Uploaded Employees not appearing on org structure

hi experts.
i uploaded employees using a bdc program and all the information got in. but on viewing the org structure using PPOME the positions remain vacant (there is no indication that the position has already been occupied).
Your help will be appreciated.

Upload Of Photographs with the help of BDC in ECC 6.0 (tcode : OAAD)

   I am trying to upload the photographs in ECC 6.0 Employee data, I m using my old BDC which was perfectly running in 4.6C, but in ECC 6.0, it is not working.
While uploading the photograph it is again asking for File name which i have already given during making the session of BDC into my FLAT File.
My Old BDC code part :

I have a brand new MacBook Air 11 inch, 4gb RAM and 256 gb SSD where the screen flickered abnormally and got dead all of a sudden while uploading a photograph in FB. Can anybody help?

I have a new MacBook Air 11 inch, 4gb RAM, 256 SSD and use Mavericks OS. It is still under waranty period.
Just few days ago while I was uploading a photograph in facebook, the screen started flickering abnoromally. I tried using the escape button but nothing was working so switched off by pressing the power button.
After few minutes I tried to switch it on but my system never waked up. Called up the Apple Support, did SMC and PRAM but nothing worked. Then I was advised to take it to Apple's authorised service centre.
At the service centre the engineers diagnoised and then said that the MLB/mother board needs to be replaced. Had waited for six-long days and today they had replaced the MLB/mother board. Now, the system came to life but nothing has booted. The screen goes white and a '?' question mark icon keeps on flickering.
After thoroughly diagnoising it the engineer said that now the problem is with the SSD and the worse thing is all my important documents and photographs etc are no more there. And I don't have a backup of the same!
While Apple Support contact centre is assuring they would replace any other parts if found faulty, but I feel differently. First, the MLB/mother board was changed now they say it is SSD problem - so if the SSD too is replaced there are possibilities of more faults coming up. All I can see and feel that this particular machine has turned out to be architectually deffective that calls for immediate replacement.
Right now I am using a friend's windows pc to write this mail.
Feeling completely miserable - all my expectatations gone after investing in such an expensive machine, loss of all my data, wastage of time and energy and to top it all affecting my daily work.
Can anybody please advise what shall I do?

Take the system to an Apple store to be fixed or replaced as the one you have has defective hardware.

       <h3> * Make sure that the HTTP plugin is active.</h3>
    <h4> Transaction SMICM, "Display Services" function key (shift F1). The list of services must contain a port other than 0 for HTTP. If not, you must adjust the relevant profile parameter.
     Typical entry:
      icm/server_port_0         PROT=HTTP, PORT=1080, TIMEOUT=900
Make sure that the /sap/bc/contentserver service is active.
      Transaction SICF, select: default_host - sap - bc - contentserver. Select the function to display/change the service. Check that a user is defined.
      If a user is not defined, use Transaction SU01 to create a new user. Use the "System" user type. Assign the profiles SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW to the user.
      Using the relevant data from the user that has just been created, maintain the anonymous logon data for the service /default_host/sap/bc/ and then save the changes.
Check the system PSE.
      Start Transaction STRUST. Expand the system PSE. The system PSE must be green for each application server.
Determine a suitable exchange directory.
      The archive system must be accessible from every application server. If all application servers are running on the same platform (for example, Windows), one network directory that is accessible on all application servers (for example,
server\share) is sufficient. You can generally use the global directory (profile parameter DIR_GLOBAL). You can use report RSPARAM to determine the profile parameters.
Setting up the storage
Create a table for storing the data.
      Use Transaction SE11 to create a copy of table SDOKCONT1. If you want to create the repository database, you can call the table ZCONT_DB, for example. Save the table as a local object. Activate the table.
Create the repository.
      Use Transaction OAC0 to create a new repository.
      Use the following parameters:

        Document area ArchiveLink

Upload Employee Photo into SAP

Hi,
Due to employee photo is stored as ArchiveLink and I tried to upload it by LSMW, but it doesn't work. I was wordering that, the document that stored in ArchiveLink can be uploaded by LSMW or not.
Has anyone used to upload employee's photo into SAP? If so, how?

Uploading Employee photos against IT0002

Hi,
We have a requirement to upload photos of all the employees of our client to their Personal Data infotype through transaction OAAD. I have written a BDC program for that and tried to upload through session method in foreground. Its working fine, but while picking the photo of a particular employee, its asking me to select the photo. Our requirement is once we start uploading the photos, we will run this in background. So it should not ask us to select the photo, instead it should pick the photo from the path given in the file.Our file contains Personnel Number and the path of the photo corresponding to that personnel number.
Please let me know your suggestions.

Ask your basis person to go to transaction SICF Content server and assign system user to content server.
After that HR works from Transaction OAAD , choose option Store and assign. Select buisness object as PREL ,Document type as HRICOLFOTO and create.In the pop out screen select Employee No. For action 0000,also give date for this and enter.
It will work from PA30 when you select the same employee no.

Error in uploading employee photo

I am trying to upload employee jpg photo in 0002 infotype. I have done basis settings and confige in T-Codes OANR, OAC2, OAC3, SICF, OACO,
But in OAAD I selected Store and Assign Icon, thee i had given business object as prel and document type as hricolfoto then i selected create button after that one pop-up window will come ask necessary data. there i had given personnnel number and infotype number as 0002, subtype- blank, object id 02, date of orgin as hiring date, then i had selected jpg phot from desktop . once i selected the photo it through the below error.
Repository A2 not accessible by HTTP.
Pls through some light on this.

I fetch the detail from table toahr with passing parameter
sap_object = 'PREL', reserve = 'JPG' and ar_object = 'HRICOLFOTO'.
i got the ARC_DOC_ID form table toahr. now how can i print this emp photo on Adobe form.
is this hexadecimal value or string ?
please explain the whole process for printing employee photograph on Adobe Form?

When you need to send a picture into the offline form: another image question - using Regular ABAP not web dynpro and Display a logo dynamically in adobe form
To make this work with your "situation" you need to get the real data, some kind of a RAWSTRING/ a data stream of that picture data. You got only some IDs so far, it seems.

Upload image to directory and data to database from the same form

I'm playing at building a shopping cart (never done one
before) from a tutorial by Gordon Knapp at www.webthang.com.
I have created the site and it works perfectly. Now I want to
extend it.
There is a form that allows the user to add data to the
database. I would also like to be able to upload an image to a
directory on the server and add the data to the database at the
same time from the same form. It would be good if the input field
"<input name="product_picture" type="text" id="product_picture"
tabindex="6" size="50" />" could be populated automatically by
the filename of the image being uploaded, but this isn't a
neccessity.
I have looked at various ASP Upload packages and I can upload
an image alone but none of them make it clear how to upload the
image and add data to the database at the same time.
As this is a private project I need any suggestions to by
free.
The tutorial shows how to create the site in Ultra Dev but
worked perfectly well in DW. The page concerned looks like this. It

you have to go with OAC0 tcode here in content repository double click on A5 which is standard one go in details-->clickon fulladministration then in that screen you will be having Basic path and Achive path there basis people need to give sapgui code.
they will be have this code in servermanagemt. i am not clear of this code where they can find. but i am sure of that this code will be given by basis people only. then go with OAOH tcode. give the details as usal and one more thing is that the photo should be save jpeg formate.

You can't. The Gallery service in MobileMe does not exist in iCloud. You will need to switch to another photo hosting web site.
