Upload extension and TID 7007866
I am running ZCM 10.3.3. Attempting to upload an executable. Zenworks
always displays "A newer version of Novell File Upload extension is
available. Click here to upgrade". I found TID 7007866 and followed
the directions, but now I get this error:
"Firefox could not install the file at
https://zenworks.msktd.com/zenworks/...euploadext.xpi
because: Signing could not be verified.
-260"
How do I get this to work?

Most Likely, you are not using a supported version of FireFox.

Using Firefox 9.0.1 on Windows 7 I'm unable to install the Novell File

As per the pop-up help page, I've added
extensions.install.requireBuiltInCerts in about:config and set it to
false but that has made no difference, even after restarting the browser.
I've also tried this with Firefox 9.0.1 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard
(10.6.8) - unsupported I know - with the same result.
Do I really have to use Internet Explorer? Urgh!

Is that what you mean by trusting the ZCM CA?
Perhaps this is why Firefox 9.x is not a supported browser though I
thought that was more to do with Mozilla treating major version numbers
as minor ones? Gee if only Firefox hadn't automatically upgraded itself
from 8.x to 9.x!

Searching for good ASP file upload extension...
Hi. Can anyone recommend a really good ASP/VBScript file upload extension for DW 8.0.2?
I've looked everywhere and most of the links on the Exchange are dead, or the companies no longer exist.
There are some solutions offered by WebAssist but they only work with, and support, PHP now.
I used to have Interakt's File Upload extension but, of course, Adobe bought them and wiped them out, including support for their extensions.
I'd really appreciate your recommendations. There's surely someone out there still using ASP/VBScript and DW 8.0.2...isn't there?

Window iphoto to big: no access to upload button and bug
Hi,
I have a problem with my iphoto window upload: she is to big since 2 weeks...I suppose that i'have touched something...I cannot have access to the lower right corner.
For example:if i'm on facebook and want to upload some photos, the iphoto window open and this one is to big .So I cannot access to "upload' button and this window block,bug and i need to quite safari.
If i go to " Presentation" and reduce it,it's not good ( reduce the other window) and if I click on the green button on the left corner its (in my example)for the faceBook page.
Somebody for help me?

Login to another user account on your Mac. Try Facebook on Safari there. If it's ok there, then at least you know the issue is just with your user account, not a system wide problem.

If you haven't tried turning off Safari Extensions... do that. At least you can rule that out. You can access Safari Extensions from the menu bar, Safari / Preferences / Extensions. -
Since upgrading to 11.3 we're unable to install the file upload extension for firefox (ESR 24.5) on OS X (tried 10.8 and 10.9 - the extension works fine in win7). The link "Install the Novell File Upload extension to upload directories" is there but clicking doesn't do anything. It was working under 11.2.4, but hasn't worked since we upgraded to 11.3. Has anyone else run into this and found a solution?

currently implies that whilst IE is supported on Windows (well duh!) and

Novell File Upload extension not Installing
I am trying to install the Novell File Upload extension so I can upload my PE file. It will not let me install the plugin in IE or Firefox. I have tried Firefox 22 and IE 8. I have tried from an XP, Win7 and 2003 server. I have tried all of the Active X switches in IE and I have tried the adding the about:config entries in Firefox.
Has anyone gotten this to work? To be honest this is the first time I have tried to get it to work so I can not say it was working before I updated. I went from 11.2.1 mu2 to 11.2.4.Originally Posted by spond

There is no Digital Signature tab for the .cab file or the .dll's inside the .cab file. I have only checked one of my primary servers. I will check the others. What would my next step be if none of them are signed? -
Problem Uploading Pictures and Videos
Hi,
I have a 30GB iPOD, and I can't seem to upload any pictures or videos.
I have tried playing with the settings under the tabs "Movies" and "Photos", and resetting the iPOD and so on, but nothing seems to work.
Whenever I sync my iPOD, it uploads the music no problem, but this message comes up when it tries to upload any photos or movies:
"The iPOD cannot be updated. The required file cannot be found."
Can someone help me figure this out?

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that when trying to upload photos and videos that you are being directed to use Snapfish.
The issue you are experiencing is not a function of the printer but your computer. Your photos and videos have a file extension that has become associated with Snapfish. To modify the file extension associations, please contact your computer manufacturer for the steps on changing he file extension associations so your photos and videos are not directed to Snapfish.

Activity Report download is saved without extension and unreadable
Hello,
The Portal Activity Report iView has a button which enables the user to download the report to his PC.
The problem is that when the user clicks on that button and saves the file it is being saved by this default name: com.sap.portal.activityreport.frontend.DownloadableActivityReport
The main problem is that it is being saved by default without any extension and after saving the user needs to manually add the .xls suffix.
Another problem is that once I open the report with Excel The Object Name column is unreadable.
Is there any way to resolve these issues?

The feature in general of course was supported, but what I cannot say is if it was a known issue that it didn't work correctly. As I dont't use the ActivityReport, I also have no experience if it didn't work at some time and maybe now is working.
The wrong filename I don't expect to be corrected in the meanwhile, as said, that's a problem in some places. So at least for this you could open an OSS message. And maybe combine this with the problematic column issue.
But if upgrading to SP18 would be an option for you, maybe you could first test that.

I used to be able to print my bank statements directly from the website to my printer. Now the print program sends the file to a file with a "cgi" extension and saves it on my desktop but as an Adobe file. When i open it to print, Adobe says it is not supported or corrupt. running windows 7 on PC.

I think I may be able to help you with this problem, which I was having with CS4 when I first upgraded to Lion, and others were having with CS3. This fix is courtesy of Aisolve on these discussion boards:
Remove the Adobe PDF PPDs from the following folders:
OS/Library/Printers/PPDs/contents/Resources/en.lproj,
OS/Library/Printers/PPDs/contents/Resources/Zh_CN.lproj,
OS/Library/Printers/PPDs/contents/Resources/Ja.lproj,
OS/Library/Printers/PPDs/contents/Resources/ko.lproj,
OS/Library/Printers/PPDs/contents/Resources/Zh_TW.lproj,
Be sure to go to your system Library, not your user Library.
Also, regarding my current problem, I spoke with an Apple tech person and found that the 10.7.2 upgrade apparently is the culprit, and is incompatible with wireless printing to my Lanier printer. I CAN print connected through USB. That's a work-around for now, but I'll need to contact Lanier about upgrading their driver for OS X 10.7.2.
Aisolve was helping me with this issue, too, and assures me that if I'm able to generate a postscript file (which I was), and able to generate a PDF by distlling it through Adobe Distiller (which I am), then I can safely assume that the problem lies with the hardware, in this case the printer driver. This lines up with what Apple told me. -
I have had nothing but grief since I upgraded to 4. It is hateful. I can't print anything. If I highlight something from a website or my email and tell the printer to just print the selection, it doesn't print. It wants me to save the the file and they all have a .tif extension and nothing will print. I have uninstalled 4 and gone back to 3.6 and the problem is still there. If I highlight the desired selection and copy it to Word 2003, it will print what I want, but I can't print anything from the browser itself. That is the only problem I'm aware of so far. I upgraded about a week ago at most, maybe less than that. I'm so sorry I did. Why can't I print anything? I don't want my selection to be a file, I just want it to print!
Thank you, but it didn't work. My printer stays on away, independently of the PC. I can print from Chrome and IE7 with no problem but not Firefox. The .tif extension refers to a tagged image something. I went looking around in the control panel and I found that Microsoft Office has it's own Access Snapshot Viewer. My company installed Office 2003 on my PC but I only use Word in my work. This snapshot viewer was listed in the control panel under Printers and Faxes. It was not the default anything but for some reason, Firefox 4 installation must have kicked it into gear. I've had the Office software for several months with not one problem. I have Firefox4 for less than a week and everything becomes difficult. I deleted the Office snapshot viewer (hope I don't get fired for it) so my little HP printer is the only one listed and now things seem to be working okay. I have FF 3.6 back up and running. I didn't lose any data and I hope the support and security updates stay available for a long time because it seems like there are plenty of people who aren't in love with FF4. When I download Flash Player Installer from the Adobe distribution site Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe the file downloads to my hard drive as a generic file with no extension, and Windows can't determine which program to use in order to open/play the file. I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
Is there something wrong with the downloaded file? Or am I missing required software?

-BrandonYes, I've never had a problem before. I've even downloaded the Flash Player Install files from the Adobe distribution site on multiple occasions in the past without issue. The only thing I could think of is that perhaps the ".exe" extension was left off to avoid triggering security measures on a computer or private network that would prevent the download.
Anyway, it worked after I added the ".exe" extension to the filename, so I have no complaints! -
I just got my new MacBook Pro over the weekend, and was sooo excited. I wanted it to take back and forh to work with me. However on a website I use for work, I need to be able to upload files and pictures. but the area where the link/button "Browse" is normally at to add the pics or files, it is not showing up on my Mac. I thought maybe the site was messed up, but when I helped another coworker, I noticed on her screen (an HP computer) the link/button to browse files and upload is there. I came back to my MacBook Pro thinking maybe the website was working correctly again, but its still not showing up on mine. So I'm thinking its Mac related. MAybe theres a certain function I need to turn on for this?
I tried to unblock pop ups, even though its not a pop up screen, but this didn't do anything. HELP!!!!!If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues. -

How do i create a website that allows customer to upload images and text?
I need some help i have a friend who has asked me if i can create a website that allows them to upload their own images and text at their leisure.
His company is in the car sales trade so they need to regularly be updating their stock, and this needs to be done by somebody with limited computer knowledge so ease of use is fairly important.
I am using dreamweaver cs4 on a G5 Imac running Snow leopard 10.6.8, my skills are limited to creating uncomplicated websites but i am very keen to learn, i am aware of content management systems such as Druplal but have zero knowledge on how to use these.

Although putting together a form that would upload images and all the descriptions required seems like a fairly straghtforward project, depending on your current skill set.

The problem is with the new operating system and sending photo via email when used in my iPad.
From photo I selected 3 photos to send via email. I choose the upload key and choose to send by email. Typing text on the email is very slow. This is solved by saving the email as a draft and opening the email again from mail.
Can you amend he system to allow emails to be sent from photo as previously.Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"
