Upload mp4 and 3gp video, just have voice but no picture

Hello,
I upload mp4 and 3gp video, just have voice but no picture.
The recorded MP4 video files from smartphones, upload to stream server,
just have voice but no picture.
But I download mp4 and 3gp videos from youtube through third-party software,
only mp4 have picture, the 3gp videos still no picture.
Can someone tell me why, and how to solve it?

If your iMovie is otherwise acting ok, and it wouldn't hurt to delete preferences to double check that, then;
My two guesses are:
1) The movie file is corrupt in some way, unusable.
2) it is made in a codec that you will need to convert in order to play in iMovie. I would try playing it in Mpeg Streamcast (free download) and VLC, also a free download. They will sometimes play clips that quicktime won't.
But it really would help to know what the codec is, or what camera it was made on.
Video clips really don't work sometimes because they were screwed up in the camera.

How to place local mp4 and ogg video in Muse?

I have been using Flash to create interactive training including FLV over the web. Now that FLV is dead on the web. I wanted to use Muse but my customer requires video clips to be on his business server. Muse appears to only support uTube like video? Is there a work around to play local mp4 and ogg video by adding HTML code into Muse?

I coded the HTML in Dreamweaver, Inserted it into Muse, Exported to HTML, FTPed to host.
At first it didn't play because I hadn't uploaded the media files. Once that was done - It seems to work.

are you using the iOS camera? if you do, visit your apple store for further help, sounds like a hardware problem.
or:
hold home and lock button pressed until your iphone restarts.
if that didn't help, visit your apple store.
if you are not using the iOS camera, delete that app.

Videos in email have sound but no picture since I updated to Lion

I recently updated to Lion and now when I open videos in email I have sound but no picture.

AOL mail provider. I have to click on Quick Look to make anynthing happen. I then click "Open with WMV Player". Screen is still black. I click the PLAY button.

There is a known issue specific to Premiere Elements 10 and NVIDIA GeForce. The Announcement at the top of this forum tells it all - detailed description of problem, references, fixes, and fix details.

and you are experiencing Premiere Elements 10 display and/or unexplained program behavior, then your
first line of troubleshooting needs to be rolling back the video card driver version instead of assuring that
it is up to date.
Since October 2013 to the present, there have been a growing number of reports about display and
unexplained workflow glitches specific to the Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer
has a NVIDIA GeForce video card. If this applies to you, then the “user to user” remedy is to roll back
the NVIDIA GeForce video card driver as far as is necessary to get rid of the problems. The typical driver
roll back has gone back as far as March – July 2013 in order to get a working Premiere Elements 10.
Neither NVIDIA nor Adobe has taken any corrective action in this regard to date, and none is expected moving forward.

I've just transferred all of my .mkv files onto my store TV + but most of them have sound but no picture?They play fine on my PC...
Also,anyway of changing the icon on the folder to the actual dvd cover on the store TV +?Sick of looking at yellow folders!!

The Store TV+ supports the video formats:: MPEG1 (DAT, MPG), MPEG2 (VOB, MPG, TS/M2TS/TP TRP), MPEG4 (AVI, MP4, MKV), VC-1 (WMV), H.264 (AVI, MKV,MOV, MP4), RM/RMVB (RM/RMVB)
The MKV files are supported by MPEG4 and H.264 video format.
Are the files recorded in this formats?
How about playing other files i.e MPG or AVI?
Furthermore I would recommend checking the connection to the TV.

When I first turn it on I have sound and picture. After a couple min screen goes black but there is sound. Doesn't matter what I'm watching, Netflix, Hulu, movies from iTunes. I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
