Upload nugget file into SAP (WD ABAP)

Hi all,
I had created a WD ABAP program and take backup of the program as a nugget file.Now I am confuse how to upload that file to create an aplication.
Can anone suggest me how to upload this into SAP.

You can convert XML to abap using transformations. Simple transformations is a proprietary SAP programming language that describes the transformation of ABAP data to XML (serialization) and from XML to ABAP data (deserialization).
goto SE80->workbench->edit object(or other objects)->in object selection chose more tab and then choose the transformation radio button and write a name and click create new.
Here you enter your transformation like

Uploading a file into SAP

Hi,
I want to upload a set of vendors listed in textfile into SAP through BDC.
I know I have to use fn. module 'GUI_UPLOAD' in this process.
The issue Ihave is for fn. module 'GUI_UPLOAD' , I have to hardcode the filename.
I dont want this to happen instead I should be able to browse for the file and select according to my choice, then this file should serve as input for fn. module 'GUI_UPLOAD' --filename.
Let me know how can I do this.

Hi,
you need to use a parameter and in at selection screen value request for parameter, you use other function, like F4_FILENAME, to browse. Or you can search for other function in SE37.

Uploading Excel file to SAP

Iam trying to Upload Excel file into SAP using the FM
ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE. But it is going to dump n the error is

Error Raised while uploading Excel file to SAP

Hi All,
I am getting error while uploading excel file into SAP using the function module 'TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP'.
Error Message is UX(893) - 'Excel file & cannot be processed' .
Please let me know what went wrong.

1 .TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP Funtion module will work if you have installed Microsoft Excel at front end.
2. Whenyou declare internal table for upload, specify the char only in the strcture ,don't specify any data element or dictionary reference.    If the data element and dictionaly reference is character field then its ok.
eg.
types:begin of st_data,
           field1 type char15,
           field2 type char23,
          endif.
3. Close the excel before you upload

hi guys,
i need the right function module to upload the excel file from the presentation server in to sap-crm.
1) I know we use the function module 'ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INT_TABLE' in sap-r/3 but this function module is not exist in sap-crm.
2) i tried with the function moduel 'GUI_UPLOAD' but its not uploading correctly i am gettting hases(#).
Please can any one provide the right function module to upload the excel into sap-crm with an sample code.

Warning while uploading file into SAP - SAP GUI Security

Hello Experts,
When ever I am uploading any file to SAP from desktop, system asks me:
"Do you want to grant access to this file - Yes or No"
Also there is check box "Remember my decision"

Please note: This warning is given to me only. My other colleagues does not get this warning. How can I remove this

Hi Meena,
It is just a warning message and so you can ignore it. Also, be informed that nothing is skeptical here. Things are working as it should work.
You other colleagues must have clicked Remember my decision so now it is not asking them. You can click on remember my decision and then can click on yes. From next time on it wont ask. And even if it asks you just follow the same process.

Uploading File into SAP Transaction using BSP

Hi Everybody,
I would like to know how to save the file into SAP Transaction thro BSP. I have one requirement,For example,the captured file from the web should be attached into the Equipment master (Transaction Code IE02).Its possible via SAP GUI.But i would like to know how it can be done from BSP.The same example applicable to sales order also..
Also i wondering where these files get stored.
Anybody could help me out of this issue please?...

You can do that using BDS..But you need to find the Business object to store it under Equipment Master or Sales order.
Here is the example where i stored the document under Warranty process, ie sub set of Equipment master:

Upload a doc into SAP and then FAX it

Hi
I'm looking for a method of uploading a doc into SAP and then FAX it to a customer.
What currently happens is this:
1. SAP creates a document, which is saved to a UNIX directory as a text file.
2. An external process takes this file, uses the info and creates a new file with alot more info than SAP has. This new file is saved to another UNIX directory.
3. This is where I'm stuck. I would like SAP to upload this new text file (or files) and fax each one.
The filename will contain a document number that SAP can then use to check customer master and obtain correct FAX number.
Can anyone provide a few pointers?

Hi Stephen,
Your SAPConnect config basically sends a SAPOffice message to your fax server, so to send your unix file in the same way you need an ABAP to create a SAPoffice message.
The steps in your program will be something like;
Read the unix file (OPEN DATASET, TRANSFER etc)
Format the data if necessary
Use a function module like SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to create the message
Provided you maintain the correct recipient parameters SAPconnect should process this to the fax server.
An alternative is to create a spool then pass this to SAPoffice, the approach is similar but the FMs needed will be different.

Batch Data Communication (BDC) is the oldest batch interfacing technique that SAP provided since the early versions of R/3. BDC is not a
typical integration tool, in the sense that, it can be only be used for uploading data into R/3 and so it is not bi-directional.
BDC works on the principle of simulating user input for transactional screen, via an ABAP program. Typically the input comes in the form

In Call Transaction, the transactions are triggered at the time of processing itself and so the ABAP program must do the error handling.

In case of bdc data transfer takes place from flat file into sap system ie the file existing in sap system to sap sytem
where is bapi's r remotly enabled function modules which are assigned to some business objects n used to transfer the data between different business partners who are using different systems other than sap.
not only that...
when you plan to upgrade your system version then bdc willnot support those upgradations where as bapi's will support.

Uploading & Downloading Files into DMS Server using Web Dynpro Java

Hello Friends,
      I want to Upload a file from Portal to Document Management Server and to Download a file from Document Management Server to Portal, In short, I want to give the user the facility to Upload a File into DMS Sever via Portal and also to download the file from DMS Sever via Portal.
Can anybody give me a Input for the same from Both Java Development End as well as ABAP End, more inputs are required from ABAP end, since i have a very less ABAP Experience on working with DMS. Few Questions i have in my mind?
1. How to actually access the file contents with the help of Document Number?
2. With the help of Doc-Number we can extract the file from DMS sever but to provide a option for downloading in portal, the   RFC should convert the File Contents into X-String or is there some other way?
+3. While Uploading the Data should be given in Which format to RFC? Are there any limitation with respect to size or formats. Is there any Standard RFC i can use directly in WD4 Java application to upload the file into DMS Server and which will return me the Document Number? +
Please give me your valuable inputs.

Now, I am able to download the File in Portal via my WD4 Java Application from DMS Server by passing the Document Number, but I am facing the problem in downloading the PDF files, Its not working for PDF files. Please give me inputs for the same.
