Upload of logo

i want to print my company logo on my smart form.for this i copied logo from company's website &saved it in MSWORD.doc.after this i went to se78 &double-clicked on the node BMAPbitmap images which is under GRAPHICS node.i went to import option on the application tool bar.then gave the file path in the popup window.but im getting message as 'displaying error as file c:\..... has an invalid format.plz help in uploading the logo.

when you download the logo, save it as .bmp.
it will automatically download it and save it at the specified location
i have done like this now only it is working
write click on the photo on the website and save as .bmp

Hi,
There are 2 ways of getting images into SAP. One is uploading as Graphics; in this case, BMP should work just fine. Or you can import the image as Standard text, in which case you need to convert it to TIFF baseline 6.0 format, uncompressed. Use a specialized software such as Corel, etc.

You have to for a pre-printed stationary for the logo.
I mean use the stationary which has logo already printed & then use form editor to print the data.
For what purpose your using form editor?
If your using for Payslip/Renumeration statement, then this is the only way. I had done the same thing, used pre-printed statinary containing logo on it.

Upload color logo

Hi All,
I have to upload color logo in sap-script and smartform.I uploaded a 24-bit bitmap logo.but its not printing in color however its showing in color in print preview.i have changed the setting in SPAD but it shows as dotted lines now.Could anybody tell me which format i have to upload the logo for sap-script and smartforms.

Upload a logo image file

I was able to upload a logo image file successfully, but it didn't put the file in the directory specified in /i/. Where does it put the file (in what directory?)
For now I work around the problem by manually copy the file to the directory represented by /i/. Then,
I access that file, i.e. add the logo to my application by specifying Image = /i/my_logo.bmp in the Logo region
and that works.

when you upload an image it is stored in the repository (database); you can access by entering htmld region) (in an:
<img src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#my_image.jpg"/>
- images placed in the /i/ directory my be accessed thru' #IMAGE_PREFIX#my_image.jpg...

Inserting Logo in SmartForm
Follow the given steps in order to add a logo,
1) In Smart Forms Editor, In left pane, right Click any Page (say Page1) and select Create -> Window, Give it a name and Description (Say Window1)
2) Right Click on Window (Window 1) and select Create -> Graphics, Give it a name and description
3) In general Attributes, Select Name, get search help (F4) , you will find a list of pictures
4) Select any picture and set its Resolution in DPI
5) Press F9 to open Smart Forms Builder, Select window (Window1) and In Output options window set, size and position of the Logo
6) Set any other parameters if required, save and activate.
7) If there is only 1 Window in the forms, set it as Main Window in general attributes.
8) User TCode SE78 to upload new pictures and logos.

Please note that if object name is not indicated as 'ZHEX...', the logo may not be printed !

Error while uploading a LOGO into SAP by using SE78

Hi All
we are not able to uplaod a LOGO into DEV200 but the same LOGO is successfully uploaded into DEV215. When we tried in DEV200 it is giving the error "ERROR LOADING FILE <PATH>".
As a Basis/ Security consultant I checked:
1) Authorizations
2) Client settings ( in SCC4 ) and System Change Optioin in SE06
These both are looks fine.
Can anyone Please help to resolve this issue.

Which type of scheduling setting have you configured for WBS scheduling and for n/w. ?
Also, download calendar from SAP to MSP and then add column 'Task Calendar' in which select the downloaded calendar.

Store the images in the MIME Directory.
-> Declare a simple type data type in the Java Dictionary.
->Give values and description in the enumeration type.
-> Declare a value attribute of Simple type in View Controller.
-> Add a image UI Element and bind it with two attributes(Ctx1 and Ctx2).
Use the code below to get the name of image and further set it :

Uploading a logo via SMW0 doesn't work

HI.
I've tried uploading a company logo via SMW0. However I'm prompted to enter a Package. I've tried $TMP, Z001 (the package our developers are currently using), and tried others starting with "T" as suggested. Whether I try to upload as a local object or select the other icon (transportable to other systems), I have not been successful.
This is a Dev server. Once uploaded, I hope to transfer to QA and Prod, or replicate, whichever is doable.
Am I missing a step somewhere?

Here the steps:
   1. Transaction code - SMW0
   2. X - Binary data for WebRFC application
   3. Hit Enter
   4. Click Execute
   5. Click Settings -> Maintain MIME types
   6. Click the Create button
   7. Fill in :- TYPE : image/gif EXTENSION : .GIF
   8. Click Save
   9. Click Back to the Binary data for WebRFC
10. Click Create
11. Fill in :- Obj. name : ZXXXX.GIF Description :
12. Company Logo
13. Click Import and specify the filename where your
14. GIF file is
15. located.File type is BIN. Finish press the
16. Transfer button.
17. If successful, your logo will be shown in the
18. Binary data for
19. WebRFC.
20. Transaction code SM30 - Table/View - SSM_CUST
21. Click Maintain
22. Click New Entries
23. Name Value to be set
24. START_IMAGE ZXXXX.GIF (this entry may need to created)
25. RESIZE_IMAGE NO (may need to be created. 'Yes' is the system default if not included. If your graphic contains text or other elements that do not scale well, use this setting. I found that an image of 500x500pixels is a good starting point)
26. Logoff and Login again (or login to another session to test)

How to upload jpeg logo

hai , every body i have a dout that how to upload a jpeg logo of a4 size into a script.

Hi Masthan,
It is the same process for A4 also, as you normally try to upload other size logos.
Convert the logo to tiff format. Using RSTXLDMC convert this tiff file to text element/ID file. Then include this in your Script. The only pre-requisite is that your window should be enough to accomodate this A4 file/logo. So by this, if you want the Script to be printed on a A4 page, then only the logo will be printed with no other texts. If you use bigger size paper than A4, then you can see the other texts if any along with the logo.

When i am inserting company logo into sap scripts, i successfully uploaded, but the problem is i am getting black and white image instead of color,but in RSTXLDMC i am giving parameter as BCOL only, could anybody help to get my problem resolved. it is very urgent. The logo which i am inserting is colored.

These are the steps to be followed for uploading graphics in R/3 system
1.   First save the file as BMP
2.   Open the BMP file in IMaging (Goto -> Programs -> Accessories -> Imaging) and
      make it Zoom as 100% and save as *.TIFF
3.   Open SE38 and execute program RSTXLDMC
4.   Give your TIFF file path name
5.   Select Bcol (for Color)
6.   TEXT ID will be ZHEX-MACRO-*.
7.   Inplace of * write your own logo name (ZCOMPANYLOGO)
8.   Execute the program
9.   Now Goto SE71 create your ZFORM
10. Create logo window
11. Goto text element of logo window
or
In 4.6x :-
1. Goto SE71 Change the mode to GRAPHICAL
2. Choose the Graph Tabstrips
3. Now type in some name for the LOGO WINDOW
4. Press the IMPORT BUTTON and then IMPORT the BMP file from your DESKTOP
5. The code will be written automatically. You just need to drag and drop wherever you want
     the graphics to be.
Please note that in 4.6c onwards, you can also used Windows Bitmap file ( .BMP).

we can import userdefined logos using rstxldmc in scripts as a stanadrd text and we can insert those thru graphics... wat is the procedure in smartforms.

here also we have a graphics button is there we can assign here.
Right click on left side logo window. in that we have a graphic option is there. in that we give the file name what ever the logo has assigned in the system. we upload that one. by giving all inputs to that one like resolution and all.
