Hi, I have SAP BO 8.82 PL 08 and I cannot upload on BI Ondemand from Quey manager.
What do I have to do to get an user and password to do this on https://bi.ondemand.com/session.

For accessing BI On Demand, you need to sign up
For accessing BI On Demand in your organization's cloud, you need to do at your organization level then you can use it by using your BO credentials.
It is not related with your organization's BO.

I think you are talking about SAP Business One.
But this is related with SAP BusinessObjects BI.

Could you please provide some more description on what you are attempting to do? The SBO Explorer iPhone/iPad App is used to show Explorer from BI OnDemand. This feature uses data that is contained in Datasets which are encapsulated forms of information that could come from various sources such as a spreadsheet that has been uploaded to BI OnDemand.
When you ask about "reports and uploading" are you referring to uploading spreadsheets into Datasets in BI OnDemand?

How to put WSDL objects in OnDemand?

I wish to gain some experience using web services. So far I have web services enabled on the company profile and given my role access privileges.
Under Web Sevices Integration it gives me the option to download WSDL object and Schema. What I would like to know is what if I wish to create my own WSDL or Schema, how would I upload them to OnDemand?Hi !
Today, the WebServices provided by Oracle on the CRM OnDemand are predefined. You can use the WSDL to create programs using the WebServices to manipulate datas in the CRM. But today, you can't create your own object and upload it.
Can you create your own object through the CRM interface ? No, and so you can't do it by WSDL.

"Failed to load resource" error
Hello,
Does anyone give me help?
Some of my deployed applications became unable to run at all.
The error message in Chrome development tool's console is "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)"
Before last week, these applications were worked fine. But from last week (I am noy sure when), they do not work.
So, I tryed to make easy application like helloworld servlet. it works correctly on local server.
Then I tried to upload my hanatrial.ondemand.com server, and run. But it does not work with the error like above.
Additional info:
I restarted this application. Application state on JAVA application dashboard in HCP consol, became "Could not read status of application benefits: Internal Server Error (500)".
Does anyone have any idea for checking the reason ?

Now it works fine. I am not sure what's coused for this issue.
Yesterday, I tried to execute these applications which did not work with "resource error".
But now, I tried again. Then they worked well.
What I did , is just delete Data source bindings. and then dployed and run again.
I am not sure this is caused the issue. Because same actions were tried by myself on last week. But at that time, nothing has been changed.
Anyway, I am gonig to run them for Demo purpose.

On Demand doesn't support adding attachments via web services. One
solution I've seen is depending on the scenario is to create a web link
field on an object that's based on a custom text field. Your web service
can populate that custom field and the web link can generate a dynamic
link to the file in On Demand's UI. However, this depends on where the
attachment is located and if the user needs some sort of firewall access.

How do I close content loaded in IE from Cornerstone OnDemand?
My organization has recently transitioned into the Cornerstone OnDemand system and I've found that when you launch a Captivate training within IE, the close button doesn't work and neither does any button set to the Exit action. If you launch the training in FireFox or Chrome then the close button works correctly, it's just IE that has the problem. (Although in Chrome the exit button doens't activate right away.) I've found that this js code works for FireFox and Chrome when modifying the DoCPExit() coding in the Utilties.js file due to the change Adobe made in CP6.

The attached images show the HTML code that's running the content when it's loaded in FireFox, which is the top image, and IE, which is the lower image. (Sorry for the tall IE grab as the code view had the extra div after the id="CaptivateContent" div.

Instead of that you can use a button on last slide of your project to close the project window
Insert 3 buttons or smart shape used as buttons (as Finish course buttons).
On the first button apply an action to execute javascript and in the script window, use this script: parent.close()
On the second button apply an action to execute javascript and in the script window, use this script: top.window.close()
On the third button, execute a standard action and assign "cpCmndExit" (system variable) with 1.
Then publish the course and upload it to your LMS and check whether any one of these work for you?
Then in the final project you can use that button which works in previous step

As per the UI5 documentation( https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/sdk/#test-resources/sap/ui/commons/demokit/FileUploader.html) , UI5 supports multiple file uploading for IE10 and IE11. I set the "multiple: true" flag in the fileuploader example page and the file browser dialog is not allowing to select multiple files. Does UI5 provide multi file upload support for IE10 and IE11 or am i missing anything ?

Your problem makes no sense. The filename is included with the upload so that the server knows what the file was originally called. Are you running the JSP locally and reading the file directly off the hard drive??
I note also that you aren't using a multipart form, which is required to upload a file.

</form>You'll need to use the Jakarta Commons FileUpload class to correctly process a form encoded with "multipart/form-data" or getParameter("xxx") will return null. You can also use the older com.oreilly.servlet.MultipartForm or whatever it's called. I'm pretty certain that the Jakarta Commons obsoletes all the COS classes.

Where to upload custom JACC provider jar for AS9.1 (Glassfish V2 Beta 1)?

I'm also trying to duplicate this issue on AS9.1 (Glassfish V2 Beta 1). At the first I need to deploy our custom JACC provider. I've provided correct setup in admin console Configuration -> Security -> JACC providers, I've also switched to use this provider and as I'm used to, I've uploaded JACC provider jar file to the domains/domain1/lib directory. The problem is, it's not working since starting AS9.1 complains about not found class of my provider. As I said, this is exactly how it's working for me on AS9.0U1. Anyway, I've tried to upload the jacc provider jar file to domains/domain1/lib/ext, but then starting AS9.1 complains about missing javax/security/jacc/PolicyContextException. Whole error message in the server log looks like:

You need to create a template add new--> Add template.
Then you can upload a xcelsius file or create it from zero.
You should bind the connections to the excel sheet, where you will bring the dataset.

BIOD Personal Edition. This is limited to 3 users. You can upload RPT (manually or with Desktop Publisher) or saved-data Webi. You can also upload and explore spreadsheet data (file-based dataset).
BIOD Essential Edition. This is limited to however many users a customer wishes to license. It also has the ability to create a centrally-administered organization with groups of users given permissions to specific folders of data. It can do everything the Personal Edition can do, plus you can create a dataset from SalesForce.com queries (SFDC-based datasets).
BIOD Advanced Edition. This can do everything the Essential Edition can do. Plus, it has a development environment for creating cloud-based data warehouse, ETL jobs, and a Universe. Additionally, you can create datasets based on a Universe. But the only reason you need to do that is if the user wants to use Explorer in addition to RPT and Webi. Today, we cannot Explore data directly from the Universe/Warehouse. That is a limitation we intend to fix this year.
If a customer has SFDC data AND is an Advance Edition cusotmer, they can take advantage of the Accelerator, which basically automates the creation of the warehouse, ETL job, and Universe for SFDC data. For more information on that, see this link: https://resources.ondemand.com/biod/help/SF_accelerator_getting_started.html. We do have an "evaulation" of the accelerator that people can try for free on a limited-time basis. However, if they want to use it permanently, they need to buy Advanced Edition of BIOD.

Web Services - Uploading Related Accounts
Hi,
I'm having a few problems uploading Related Accounts through web services. I'm using the AccountInsertOrUpdate method on the Account service from a .NET client (this is something that worked in earlier versions of Siebel OnDemand). The exception I get back is:
"Cannot perform NewRecord on the business component 'VONDMED Account Relationship'(SBL-EAI-04421)"
I've looked around in other forums / support web for Siebel Enterprise, and the consensus for this type of error message is that this is to do with the configuration of the EAI components Siebel side.

Has anyone else run into this type of issue?Hi, I've seen this error on other projects I've worked on. This typically has to do with permission. Make sure that your role has permissions to create these records. If you know he AccountId you do not need to provide the ExternalSystemId in the SOAP request.

Zooming error when uploading folio
I recently added an image to my project with pan and zoom checked in the overlay creator. But when I try to update my folio to test it locally I get the following error:
The upload has failed.
[svr.ConvertUnknownError]
However, it works if I check the 'pan only option' but I would like the user to be able to zoom as well, any ideas on how to resolve this?

There cannot be any empty rows of data.
File size max:
XLSX or CSV file: 10 MB | 100,000 rows | 256 columns
XLS file: 3 MB | 20,000 rows | 256 columns
If the above criteria is met and an Excel file still errors, perform the following steps:
1. Open the Excel Workbook
2. Navigate to the bottom where the worksheet tabs are displayed.
3. Remove ALL worksheets except for the one containing the data to be uploaded. There should only be one worksheet listed when you are done.
a) Right click on each unused worksheet.
b) Select "Delete" from the dropdown.
4. Save your Excel file.
NOTE: You may wish to save the Excel file under a new name if the original had worksheets containing data you may need later.
5. Attempt to upload the new Excel file to bi.ondemand.com
Troubleshooting:
Occasionally, there may be some formatting within a worksheet that is not fully recognized in the upload process. If an attempt to re-upload the dataset continues to error, reopen the Excel file and use the SAVE AS option.
Choose CSV (DOS) from the format options.

I very much disagree with Wenjun; it doesn't at all seem like you are missing any resources.
What exactly is your target URL of ../cms/resources/upload_images/? Odd that its just a folder. You can't upload to the HANA Repository and expect the file to be written into the Repository. That's just not how it works. Generally you would need to upload to an XSJS service to handle the incoming request if the target is the HANA server. -
