  • Upload patch sp04 at client side

    Hi friends,
    We successfully installed bpc7nw version. Recently updated patches upto sp04 on BI(Ehp1 side) for CPMBPC component.
    Now we have to update client side support packs to sp04(i know sp08 latest). But my requirement is to upload patch sp04.  I have seen one SDN document, which gives informtion on how to upload/install patches for SP02(.NET part).
    Is the procedure for updating sp04 is simliar to sp02. Did you have any url on support packs updation for client side?
    any suggestion pls ..
    appreciate your help ..
    Advanced thanks.

    Hi Raju,
    The way the upgrade is done is similar. The only thing you need to remember is that the SP level should be the same for the application server, ABAP, and the client. You can download the SP04 for all the components from SMP.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
    Follow the steps provided below to upload the Bundle Patch 1 (BP1) successfully to Software Library.
    1. In the Cloud Control 12c console, navigate to Provisioning & Patching --> Saved Patches --> Upload
    2. Select Product Family: Oracle System Management Products
    3. Select Product: Enterprise Manger Base Platform
    4. Upload the Metadata XML file and patch zip file.
    5. Select upload. This should give the following success message:
    Software Library Upload Status
    Software Library - Successfully uploaded to Oracle Software Library.

  • Uploading Workout History

    I was having difficulties with my internet connection last week and was unable to upload a run that I had done. After completing an additional run several days later, I was able to connect to the internet and upload the data to the nikeplus site, however only my most recent run was uploaded. The run from earlier in the week has not been added to my workout history on the web site even though it is stored in the history on my iPod. Does anyone know how I can pull that particular workout out of my iPod and upload it to the nikeplus site?
      Windows XP

    Hi, follow the instructions in my thread http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=595567&tstart=45
    Until Nike+ gives us any easy way to re-upload this is the next best thing.
    Good luck,
    Kiernan

  • Uploading patches in R/3

    Hi,
      While i uploading PI_BASIS to our existing R/3 system, i am getting error '<b>Prerequisite Not Fulfilled'</b>. The current PI_BASIS release is:<b>2002_1_620</b> and level <b>0006</b>. And PI release is: 2002_1_470 and level 0003.
    As it is a urgent reuirement please guide me <b>from which patch i have to proceed further</b>?
    Regards,
    Raj.

    Hi Rajkumar
    You mentioned your R/3 system right now is patchlevel 2002_1_620 and level 0006 and you want to go to 2005_1_620
    This is from note 821184:
    R/3 Plug-In and Basis Plug-In (only R/3 Enterprise, ECC 500)
    The SAP Basis Plug-In is a prerequisite in SAP R/3 Enterprise. Using PI_BASIS 2005.1 with PI 2003.1 or lower is not allowed. Using PI_BASIS 2005.1 with PI 2004.1 requires patch level PI 10.
    If you carry out an upgrade from PI and PI_BASIS in the SAP R/3 Enterprise System, however, you do not have to upgrade the PI_BASIS in all other SAP systems in your SAP system landscape.
    So, If you want to use PI_BASIS 2005.1 you have to make sure you R-3 plugin (PI) is 2004.1.
    You need to upgrade both PI_BASIS and PI to 2004, because both of them must be the same level (2004.1). When they are both on that level you can implement PI-Basis 2005.1.
    I don't know if you already know this: You can only upgrade from one SAP R/3 Plug-In release to the next. You cannot skip a release. This means you have to do an upgrede for both PI's from 2002_1 to 2003_1, and then from 2003_1 to 2004_1
    Best regards,
    Alwin

  • Installing 12.1.1 upgrade driver, sess disconnected & now adpatch fails

    We are upgrading EBS HRMS QA instance from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.1 in hrdev (10.37.2.4) machine.
    =================================================
    I had a telnet session from my desktop machine to the AIX 6.1 server machine.
    While Installing 12.1.1 upgrade driver, i.e.
    $ su – applqa
    $ cd /u06_qa/oracle/apps/apps_st/appl/au/12.0.0/patch/115/driver
    $ adpatch options=nocopyportion,nogenerateportion
    This created adpatch_u6678700_12Jun2010.log (attached)
    When we were in the following stage, my session with remote machine got down as my machine power went down.
         Worker 1 running adobjcmp.sql
    This resulted in abnormal termination of adpatch process on the server as you are well aware that it runs as active session from your putty console.
    Once I recreated new telnet session with 10.37.2.4, I rerun adpatch like following:
    $ su – applqa
    $ cd /u06_qa/oracle/apps/apps_st/appl/au/12.0.0/patch/115/driver
    $ adpatch options=nocopyportion,nogenerateportion
    Once I restarted adpatch session, it said, do you want to continue your old session, I said yes, and through adctrl I stopped worker 1 (running adobjcmp.sql), even though there was no such process at OS level.

    Hi Hussain
    There is no more information in log file.
    I done below to retify
    To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
    You are setting you environment to wrong file when trying to relink.
    $APPL_TOP/SID_servername.env, not $APPL_TOP/APPSORA.env
    1. Set the environment using the APPSORA.env file located under $APPL_TOP
    directory.
    Please refer to Note:149126.1 Relinking in 11.5 Oracle Applications
    2. Rename file adrelink.log from $APPL_TOP/admin/log.
    cd $APPL_TOP/admin/log
    mv adrelink.log adrelink.log.OLD
    3. Relink using : adrelink.sh force=y "ad all"
    Check newly generated log file $APPL_TOP/admin/log/adrelink.log for errors.
    4. Try to run adpatch again, continue previous session, but please make sure you set the
    environment from APPSORA.env before that.
    relink done fine. But when i try to run adpatch again, I got this error
