Upload photos from ipad to website

Other that iCab is there any way to upload a photo taken by the camera on an iPad to a website?  Is the only way to do this is to create an application that is installed on the iPad and then accesses the camera itself on the same device?
I need a through, accurate answer please.  We are trying to decide to create a mobile application that can be used on all tablets or an application that is installed on the iPad.
Thanks :-)

So there were 19 views and no one could answer my question.  Thanks.  I'll do it myself.....
Apple haven't built the capability into Safari, and I don't think they've ever said why. I don't have the iCab Mobile browser, but the developer's site (http://www.icab-mobile.de/faq.html) says that it doesn't work on all sites due to the way that the sites are coded. Not sure whether any other browsers can upload.

You can't upload to a memory card.
You can connect the iPad with your computer and then go to (this) Computer see there your iPad as external drive, open it and look for the maps with photos to copy them to your computer.
    Otherwise you can use free Dropbox to transfer and share your photos wireless to your computer and others;

  • Suddenly cannot upload photos from iPhoto to websites like ebay

I am attempting to create listings on Ebay and cannot upload photos from Iphoto like I used to.  This happened on another website as well where I attempted to upload photos from Iphoto onto the site and it wouldn't work.  I was able to upload to Facebook and use the pictures that way, but cannot do that for Ebay.
With the Ebay issue, I'm able to get to Iphoto by clicking on the browse button in Ebay, but when Iphoto comes up, it's frozen and I can't move the page at all. I'm have to "force quit" Safari to even be able to continue using the computer.
I am using a Mac Mini, Mac OS X Lion (Version 10.7.5).  Safari is Version 6.1 (7537.71).  All software is up to date.
    Thanks in advance!!

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

  • Can anyone help with uploading photos from iPad to Facebook.  Thanks

Can anyone help with uploading photos fom iPad to Facebook?  Thanks

What app are you to trying to use ? You can't upload photos to Facebook via Safari, but a number of the Facebook apps support it e.g. the 'official' app : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/facebook/id284882215?mt=8 (thought it's optimised for the iPhone/iPod Touch it does support uploading photos), Friendly For Facebook (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/friendly-for-facebook/id400169658?mt=8)

I would like to know the most simple way of uploading the photos stored in my iPad mini to my Windows XP PC. They do not have to be synced. Tx.

They can't be synced anyway. You can't transfer photos from the iPad to your PC by syncing. You import the photos You can read about it here.

  • Trouble uploading photos from iPad 2 to Blog?

    Hi Everyone,
After submitting this question to the forum...and reading many responses, I took matters into my own hands.  (Apple was unable to offer a successful solution.)
    Apple has an ap:  BLOGPRESS
This works perfectly with Google's Blog...also known as BlogSpot...
So, pass the word....I called Apple to let them know that this solution was previously offered on this forum.  Even though some said it didn't work, it sure does.  Any/All photos downloaded to your iPad absolutely WILL be accessible to you when you want to post them to the blog.
I am new to the iPad and took it to Italy last week.  Though I was able to blog, I could not add photos.  Thanks to BlogPress, now I can.  I will be going to Spain & France with a group of students and be able to post their photos on the blog.
    Hope this helps

You can also use the Google+ App to upload photos to BlogSpot. When inserting a photo in your blog, select From Phone, and the photos on Google+ will be available for posting in your blog.
It takes a few minutes for the photos to show up, but once they are there, you can use them. Just be sure to have Gooble+ App running while updating your blog.
There is also an App called Blogster that is supposed to work with the iPad. You can find it on iTunes.

I want to see photos I took with my ipad mini on my laptop PC which is has windows 7.  I have download the icloud feature on it.  And I set up a beta library on my Mini ipad and think it uploaded my photos.  but I don't know what to do now to look at them.

    Hi rutabaga2,
I understand that you have activated iCloud Photo Library beta and you wish to view your photos on your Windows PC. Here is an article that details how to view these items:
You can also access all your photos and videos on your Mac or Windows computer, using the Photos app on iCloud.com. All your photos and videos are organized in the same way they are on your iOS devices.

  • How to upload photos from iPad photos to blogspot

I use blogspot and hoping to use iPad when on hols to take the odd photo to upload onto my blog. But just tried it and doesn't seem to recognise I have any photos 'on my computer' to try and upload. Any ideas?  Also, sort of related - when you email an iPad photo, can you choose to email from an address you've not stored in iPad mail?

    Use the Blogger App:  http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blogger/id459407288?mt=8
Yes you can type any email to send a photo, you don't have to use an email address from your contacts.

  • How to upload photos from ipad air1 to iCloud

i have sufficient space for all my photos in iCloud.  Photos take up approx 8gb - 9gb in total, 5gb on iCloud 3gb - 4gb on iPad air.  I want to store all pics in iCloud as there is no disc space available on iPad air.  It now seems that iPad is downloading rather than uploading pics.  How to solve?

  • Safari freezing when uploading photos from iphoto to websites such as walmart or shutterfly

What should I do?? Already did a hardware test.

Did you try restarting your computer?
Are you running the latest version of Safari that your computer supports?
Is all your software up to date?
Worse comes to worse, you can install Firefox or Chrome and see if you can upload using those.

  • How do I upload photos from my PC to my ipad without deleting the photos already on my ipad?

How do I upload photos from my PC to my ipad without deleting the photos already on my ipad???

The iTUnes sync syncs the contents of a folder you choose. ANd it handles only one folder at a time.
What I did to keep things straight, was to make a separate folder inside the 'my photos' part of my computer. Then put in that folder copies of things I wanted on my iPad. I could then add/remove from that folder as the mood struck and since everything in there was a copy I wouldn't lose any. (you would add/remove from the folder, then do a sync to allow iTunes to update that folder on  your iPad to match the folder on your PC)
Another way, to get away from maintaining a folder, if you don't have a ton of photos, just e-mail them to yourself, save them from that e-mail. Keep them on the iPad as long as you like, then you can delete them as you wish. Photos that are synced onto the iPad must be synced off (as in removed from that folder then a sync performed to remove them)
E-mailing the photos to yourself gives you more flexibility in managing them on the iPad.
