Upload/Put problem - basic, need help

Aloha,
my first post here.
I used to use Dreamweaver 8 and recently upgraded to CS3.
For some reason now when I upload an HTML page that contains
j pegs, or swf files only the HTML page gets put, I have to
manually go and put each j peg or swf file. It used to
automatically put all the content of the page, why is it not doing
it anymore? Is there a setting I need to change in preferences?
Any help is appreciated.

You can 'put' or 'check-in' files either independently or
Shift+click (PC) linear groups or Ctrl+click (PC) randomly spaced
files. If you have files within folders you can put/check-in an
entire file and its contents.
You can also automate the uploading of dependent files (which
is probably what you had selected in Dreamweaver 8).
Select Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Dreamweaver >
Preferences (Macintosh).
In the Preferences dialog box, select Site from the category
list on the left.
Set the options ( you want dependent files) and click OK.
This will upload the html page and every file referenced in
the page such as images, external scripting and css files and swfs.
This can be an unnecessary step once you have completed the first
upload of an html page and its contents. You might consider simply
holding down the Alt (Windows) or Option (Macintosh) when selecting
put/check-in if you need to upload every associated file. I prefer
to leave the dependent file option deselected and use this method.

I am having the same issue. I am updating to 6.1.3 to see if that helps. It is really annoying. It seems to vibrate as well as hiss on my ear piece speaker while on a call. I keep looking at the phone thinking maybe another call is coming in.

MSI K7N2G-ILSR Problem! Need help!

Hi,i bought a K7N2G-ILSR last year when i was in Germany. This mainboard never worked as well... I wanted to work with Athlon XP 2500+ and Dual Channel 256MB+256MB=512MB 400 Mhz DDR-Ram. It hasn't worked when i first wanted to use and i changed the jumper to the securit mode than it worked but it has never opened with one button pushing.I was always trying to get screen vision with 3-5 closing and opening.One day i tried to get the jumper back and i tried to open but it never worked. I got the jumper securit again but again never worked. I tried everything but it never worked after that event. Normally i had to inform it at first and give it back or give it to the repairing but i couldn't have time. Now i have to do it this time. Now i want to change this or something else but in Turkey. I am living in Turkey and does MSI Support Centre change it or repair it? What can i do to get rid of this problem. Need help!

Ipod photo - serious music transfer probleme. i need help please

hi there.
i have a problem that i cant resolve.
i search and ask on french forum, but nobody could help me.
actually, my ipod didnt want me to upload files over 6 minutes.
an error message box used to pop up on itunes each time the delay of about 6 minutes music transfering exceed.

he told me that itunes couldnt read/write onm my ipod.
that's false cause he could upload <6 minutes music transfering time.
anyway i reeset my ipod, update it with ipod updater.
and the problem is still the same.

i tried with many kind of music, coming from diferent HD, but nothing to do.
i tried to find a help from apple, but this stupid website is made for you not to find a way to contact them.
if someone can help me, i would be glad...

If you have already done so, have a look at this Knowledge Base article: "-36 or "Disk cannot be read from or written to" when syncing iPod or "Firmware update failure" error when updating or restoring iPod
If you have no success there I would try restoring your iPod, this will erase the hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings so make sure you have all your songs backed up in iTunes. A fresh installation of the software should sort things out: Restoring iPod to Factory Settings

WRT54G Wireless Router Problem. Need Help!

I'll start with the basics of my situation and if more details are needed, I will provide to the best of my ability.
I have a comcast cable internet connection. I have 6 computers in my house. Two of them are downstairs (which is where our modem is.) The other four computers are upstairs. All of these computers are Desktop computers with the exception of one laptop.
My laptop (which is Windows XP) can pick up a random wireless signal from the room it is in. I also found out a way to share the internet connection on the computer by going into the properties of my network connection and enabling internet sharing on it. This means if I connect a network cable from my laptop to another computer, I can leech the connection from my laptop and have internet access on the other computer. I also had a switch that I used to connect the other 3 computers upstairs by means of the laptop. The problem was, the laptop was using someone else's wireless connection in the area, and it wasn't strong enough to keep up a constant connection.
I decided, if I can leech someone else's wireless connection, why not have my own. So i recently bought WRT54G Wireless Router and set it up on one of the computers downstairs (because that's where the modem is). It works fine as far as connecting my laptop to the internet from upstairs. My laptop can access the internet through the connection I set up in the LELA program.
Here is the part I am confused about. Everything is plugged in correctly as far as the router is concerned because the laptop can access the internet. But when I connect an ethernet cable directly to one of my other computers (which are Windows Vista, but I didn' t have a problem with it previously when I was leeching someone else's connection), the connection drops on my laptop, and the other computer still can't access the internet. A notice pops up that says its trying to identify the network, but it gives an error that says there is something wrong with the DNS. As soon as I disconnect the ethernet cable connecting my laptop to one of the other computers, the connection is fine again on the laptop. It's only when I connect the computers together that the connection drops.
I just don't understand why it wouldn't work when I created my own network if it worked with another network with no problem. My whole point in getting a wireless router was to have a router within good range to keep up a constant connection on my other computers that aren't in range of the modem downstairs. I just don't know where else to look. I'm not sure if it can be fixed on LELA, manually through my wireless settings, or if it could be a problem with one of my computers' settings. I've tried many different things and I'm not sure what else to do so any help is most definately appreciated. I feel like I've tried everything. I know it's possible because I've one it before, I just need the help because I'm not much of a networking person and I don't know what I should start with to make this work.

Lenovo B560 Battery problem! Need help asap

Hi, I have a big problem with my Lenovo B560.
Recently I started noticing the charging icon in the bottom right corner of the screen would go briefly from "charging" to the icon for "not plugged" (just the battery). If I moved the power cord a bit it would go back to normal.
Days later it happened again but this time a little more persistent. I didn't give it much attention. And then suddenly, last weekend it stopped charging altogether, despite being plugged. I tried different power sources, I tried moving the cable around, nothing. With the little time I had left before it completely discharged, I googled the problem and saw somebody in a thread saying "it's likely tha battery, it needs replacement", which made sense to me, since my laptop is 3-years old.
I ordered a replacement battery and waited. Today it arrived and I put it in, eager to use my computer and have everything going back to normal. I turned on the computer, battery was at 50% but it still did not charge. It showed the battery icon like before, as if it weren't plugged in. I moved the cable around again and noticed it would briefly flash back to being plugged. And then it stabilized on "plugged in, not charging" but it was suddenly at 3%. However, at least it didn't go down this time.
I tried reinstalling the Power Management Driver, restarted, everything was the same. Then I went to Device Management, I disabled the Driver and the icon dissapeared. Restarted, reinstalled driver once more, icon was still gone.
Then I noticed in another thread somebody recommended taking out the battery and turning on the computer with just the power cord plugged in. So I took out the new battery and turned it on with just the power cord. And it worked, and that brings us to the present moment. Both batteries sit next to me and my computer is currently working simply on the power that is supplied by the power cord.
Can anyone please tell me how to get out of this mess? My job relies greatly on this computer working, and I need to fix it asap. Any kind of advice is welcome. Thank you!

Update: the computer will not turn on anymore, not even with just the AC cord and no battery. Please help.

Set inside a Set and powerset problem. Need help.

I've done other posts about this but I figured I'd start a new thread since I changed it so much. I understand the idea of power sets but not how it needs to be a Set inside a set and also how to get this thing to run. If anyone could show me a power set generator or help me fix my code I'd really appreciate it.

I have no idea what a "power set" is.
But, this line:

if (S.isEmpty()) {S is the input parameter, and is a Set. Therefore, S can never equal an empty string.

T500 overheating problems - Novice needs help

Like for some others in this forum, my Thinkpad T500 is overheating.
Here are my specs:
Model: T500 (Type: 2055)
Processor: P8600 (2.40GHz)
GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650
When I'm doing most regular activities (browsing,emailing, documents), laptop is fine. The unit gets warm underneath, but I've not had problems.
If I'm doing more intensive activities (watching local video,Netflix, or Skyping), laptop starts to heat up enough so that it's uncomfortable on my lap.
When I play games (Nothing crazy intensive: e.g. Minecraft, Civilization 4), and sometimes when I Skype, the unit gets extremely hot underneath and shuts off without warning.
The heat seems to be originating from the left-hand side of the laptop, near the back. Unless I'm mistaken, this is where the GPU is located. And this makes sense, since the overheating seems to be related to graphics-intensive activities.
So, my questions are:
1. How can I diagnose this problem further? What's a good utility to use to monitor heat of GPU and CPU? Anything else I can use ?
2. Are there any settings I can change on my laptop to prevent the automatic shut-downs and excessive heat?
3. I've seen some mention of people cleaning fans, replacing fans / cooling units, or adding thermal paste. Need some advice there too.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Good day and welcome to the community.
If you've never had the machine open to blow out dust from around the fan/heatsink assembly, I'd recommend that first. If you download a copy of your Hardware Manual: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/43y6630_04.pdf , you'll see that by pulling the palmrest, keyboard and keyboard bezel (manual pages 88-90, 92-93 and 102-103, respectively), that you'll expose the top side of the assembly in the upper left. The top view image on page 107 is helpful. The CPU is beneath the end section of the wider heatpipe and the GPU is beneath the narrower.
While holding the blades of the fan stationary (important!), you can use canned air to blow all of the dust from the inside out through the exhaust vents. Once done, button everything up and see if things run cooler. If you're still overheating, you may need to clean off the old thermal compound and apply new, but try the de-dusting first.

Scroll about 2/3 down the page for the download link for v0.62 which is the latest. It can be run in monitor-only mode or can be configured to provide a level of control over your fan speed.
Please post back your results from the first step and we can go from there.

Col:peopleResource format problem - really need help!

Hi all
We are currently using the 'who is who' at the moment for searching the our coimpanies user base which is workin well. However I have a formating issue with the property 'col:peopleResource'. Basically it appears on two line when it is displays e.g.

Should display:

(the '0' is the Icon)
I have look everywhere on how to change this but I have had no joy. Any help would be great as this is slowly becomming an urgent problem!

From your description its very hard to say whats wrong, but here is my initial thoughts:
Have you defined the with of the second column somewhere, like in the collection renderer?
Are you displaying first and last name seperately or are you using displayname(contentlink) in the collection renderer?
Whenever the layout messes up, it is a good idea to take a look at the html-code the error-prone page generates as it will contain some information about why the information is displayed like it is.

Toshiba 16gb micro SDHC card problem, please need help!

I didnt know where to post about this problem, so I just post it here. I bought few months ago Toshiba 16gb micro SD HC card for my android Huawei Acend G300 it worked fine for two months, in computer and in my phone, but yesteday after I listened music my android made restart by itself. I tought it was nothing so I went to sleep. But in the morning I saw that my mobile says that I have no sd card insterted into phone. I made restart to my phone, took battery out and took sd card off and put those back in, but still didnt find my sd card. Then I put my sd card into computer with micro sd card adapter but it cant find my sd card too. it doesnt reconize it. Please does anyone can help me with that? I had important stuff on that card,

I realize it's been quite awhile since your post but, did you ever get a response on how to correct the issue with your 16GB MicroSD HC card that 'died' suddenly? I ask because I had a similar issue. My card suddenly unmounted itself (it was in a Galaxy S3) then it just was 'gone'. Phone doesn't see it, pc doesn't see it...
From what I was able to determine it would appear that this card is history and unrepairable but was curious if you ever had any luck in either recovering data and/or getting the card to be useable again.

File Mass upload (Denes Kubicek?) - Need help to find my schema

I've been looking at the excellent example on Denes Kubicek site on how to Mass file upload (http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:218).
I'm not sure how to complete the first part of this example
EXEC dbms_java.grant_permission( 'YOUR_SCHEMA', 'java.io.FilePermission','d:\datapump','read' ); How do I find my schema that this needs to be grants. I installed XE and upgraded it to APEX 3.1.1.00.09.
I've opened SQL plus and typed: conn sys as sysdba and then entered in the password and it connect. I'm a bit confused on how to find my schema. The rest of it seems to be quiet self explanatory.

Thanks I logging into the "Internal" workspace and went to Home>Manage Workspaces>Manage Workspace to Schema Assignments. I see my workspace "BILLY" is assigned to schema "BILLY".
So I logged into sqlplus using "conn sys as sysdba" and entered in the following:

Ipod nano 5g Problems !Need Help!

Hello!I am having some problems with my Ipod 5G.It is a few years old.I plugged it into my Pc,reset it and put my music again on it.I didn't use it for a few months and left it uncharged.Now,it restarts by it self and music only plays through the speaker even if the earphones are connected.I have windows 7,but Itunes has no trouble recognizing it.I tried reseting it a couple of times but no results.Please help !

You could try restoring in i-tunes.

All my problems listed, need help...

I have got my MSI K8N NEO for a while now. This are my problems with it.
Memory: Corsair XMS3200PRO 2x512MB
When I first got my memory I couldn't reformat or reinstall Windows XP. I had the memory in slot 1 and 2.
I read a lot here and checked Corsair forums and there was a knows problem with XMS3200 on K8N NEO.
So to get it working you have to put the memory in slot 1 and 3 with a voltage of 2.7 (not allways but its recommended) and to be sure, use the timings 2.5 3 6 3 T2.
I got my Leadtek 6800Gt today and ofcourse, I wanna reinstall WindowsXP.
So I boot the CD but it freezed :(
So I remove 1 of the moemory modules (the one in slot 3) and try again.
I now got 1 memory module in slot 1 with 2.7v 2.5 3 6 3 T2 timings.
NOT WORKING as soon as I started format, my comp restarted.
Well I move the memory to slot 3, restart and boot from the CD
Now it worked, YES (I only have 512MB of memory but it's a start)
Windows is installed and I'm starting to update.
I got SP1 installed on WinXP and I ran a Windows update to get all fixes
I installed DirectX9c
Latest nForce drivers from Nvidias homepage
Latest GFX drivers from Nvidias homepage
Latest AMD64 drivers
So all set for a benchmark of my new gfx card in 3Dmark03
First test worked fine...
Next test, , it freezed for some sec
same @ third and in the end of the fourth test, the comp freezed...
NOOOO!
I saw a thread here, about freezings and missing textures, so I checked it out.
Okey lower some stuffs raise volt turn of fast writes...
Test 1: prefect
Test 2: prefect
same for test 3 but test 4...
FREEZED
Okey I changed some more things, tested other settings and with osme settings (dont remember now).
I got passed all tests and in the loading of PS 2.0 the comp freezed :(((
BTW sometimes then I run 3Dmark03 the ocmp freezes and sometimes the screen goes black and the comp beeps... beeep beep beep I think it is one long and 2 short after.
So what do I do? I must be the MSI K8N NEO that's the problem
I run @ stock, even lower....200MHzx10
The memory in slot 3 2.7v 2.5 3 6 3 T2
I got a aspire 520W psu and it's very nice so itäs not a psu issue
hope I got all the info in here, if it's any other info you need please tell me

I have a big problem and need help.

I was trying to delete some files when I got a message that said that one of the files contained a program that was running. I close out the program and deleted the file but something happened. I closed out Windows Explorer and notices all my desktop and taskbar icons were gone and replaced by the Adobe Reader icon. I tried to run Google Chrome and it tried to open it with Adobe Reader. I then deleted Adobe Reader to see it that would fix the problem it didnt. Instead when I tried to run Google Chrome the second time it pulled up a window telling me to choose a program to open it with. I'm stuck and dont know what to do. The only program I can open is Windows Explorer now. PLEASE HELP!!!
