Upload seems ok but then nothing happens

I have uploaded 48 hours ago my first (free) ibook with iTunesProducer and everything seems fine (no errors and a green checkmark at the end). However, nothing appears in iTunesConnect, neither a ticket nor a book. Also no result if I search the metadata in itunes Producer. Is this normal? Shouldn't there be some kind of receipt? I have tried to resend but no difference.

It's so frustrating. The help desk tries to be helpful but they just don't give you the info you need to resolve the problem. I'm sure they're mobbed. Did you actually get them to provide you with the actual error messages? Mine were pretty cryptic but one of them mentioned an image. The only image I had in the book was the cover. Like I said, once I removed it from the Scrivener compile, it uploaded fine.
Did you try putting your .epub file through a validator? That's helped me in past discover other errors. You can try this one at http://validator.idpf.org.
Or, the next thing I was going to try (if I hadn't gotten it to work) was downloading the iBooks Author app, importing my book into that, then try publishing from that. That might work for you since you have special characters and a few internal images.
Another option is to open it in Calibre (http://calibre-ebook.com). If it looks fine in Calibre, save it as a new file, then try uploading that.
Another choice might be to get a 3rd party to handle the upload for you.

    Same thing here.  I'm getting very frustrated.  When I swipe phone to open, and hit the phone icon, then make a call, most times it says "calling mobile" but then nothing happens.  Then I try to end the call and hit the END button.  Sure, it looks like the call disconnected, but as soon as I try to make another call, I see the same screen (the first called) and the words "calling mobile".  The only way I can rememdy this, naturally, is powering off and restarting.  But, c'mon...$300 for a phone that you have to power down between calls???
    I've got the latest OS update, no jailbreak, or anything exotic on my 4s.  What's more, when I try to make a call 2 out of 3 times, the dumb SIRI opens up and stops me from making the call.  (and, yes, I have very carefully checked my process that I am not intentionally activating SIRI with my cheek.)
    Again, $300 for all this in just trying to make a call?

    reset your phonr by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

    Hold the power button and the home button down until the screen goes black and the apple logo appears. This will do a reset and you should be able to update your apps then.

  • I can't download any applications on my macbook pro, it starts but then nothing happens

    Every time I try to download any application, for example today I am trying to download Gimp for Mac, the window goes blank and in the browser it looks like it's loading but then nothing comes up.  I have tried creating a new user account but the same thing happens when I download in that one.  I think it is a system issue but I am not technically minded and so struggle to figure out what is happening.  I can download itunes, apps from the app store.  But nothing else.  Even flashplayer updates don't download.   Can someone help me because it is increasingly frustrating!  I am needing Gimp for Mac in order to open up software I need for a new course I am doing, which means I need it today!!  Thank you to anyone if they can help.

  • IE works, Firefox has no connection- no error message- just continues to say "new tab" and "go to a website," when something is entered, it thinks for a moment, but then nothing happens. Chrome shows error 137 and safari cant find internet.

    Firefox and Chrome stopped working for apparently no reason. IE works. Have tried proxys, firewalls, and restarting. NOTHING WORKS. Firefox is the oddest as there are no error messages, but just shows practically no movement. Only movement is a quick "loading spin" in the address bar, but then nothing. The tab continues to read "new tab" and the address bar says whatever site I typed in, but goes no where. Chrome shows error 137 if that helps.

    It's not just you, I can't authorise my phone. It seemed to go down just after I started the update (it wasn't my fault though). I am using chrome, and it does not seem to be a firewall issue, or the bannerblock issue that I read about else where, since I dont have that program installed. Strange though how the support forum is still running. If I go to http://www.apple.com/support I get nothing, but googling topics allows me to see em.

  • Trying to update Firefox and I downloaded setup.exe, but then nothing happened

    I currently have 3.0.19 version of Firefox and finally decided to update since this version crashes whenever you go to google maps. My automatic updater did not work (error message was just that it failed for an unspecified reason). I went to the mozilla website and clicked on the free download button. It then asked if I wanted to save the Firefox 7.0.1 setup.exe which I saved to my Mozilla folder. Then nothing happened. When I clicked on the link if nothing automatically happens it just asks if I want to save the same file. I've restarted, but still have the same old firefox version. Is there more I need to download, or do I have to run something?

    Just to clarify...
    Did you know that by purchasing it in iTunes, you are purchasing the iOS version of Pages and Numbers? If you wanted the Mac version, it should be downloaded from the Mac App Store.
    If you DID want to download a copy for an iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, then try purchasing these apps on one of those devices rather than iTunes and see if it works.

  • I submitted my information into the 'uptodate' program to download Lion OSX and it verified that I was able to get the upgrade but then nothing happened. How can I get the upgrade without having to pay for it?

    When I tried to go back through and do it again, it gives me and error that says that my serial number has already been registered to the uptodate program and it wont allow me to continue any further. Is there a place I can go in my computer to find it and start the download? I got all the way to the point where I submitted my purchase (for free) and then as soon as I did that, nothing started...

    Is this for a new MacBook Pro? If you are entitled to a free upgrade, but are having trouble with the Mac App Store and can't download Lion, call Applecare and explain the situation and see if they can help you. It's always possible that the Mac App Store has been extra busy lately and for some reason may not have processed your request properly.
    First, though, check in your applications folder to be sure that the installer isn't already there. It's called "Install Mac OS X LIon.app". Step one is to download the installer. Step two is to run it. It will vanish from your Application folder after it runs, so if you want to make a copy of the installer, make one before you run it.
