Upload to Blurb fails after exactly 30 minutes (There was an error uploading your book's pages...)

After exactly 30 minutes after the upload has started, I get this error:
There was an error uploading your book's pages. Would you like to try again? The choices given are "Retry Upload" and :"Cancel"
When I retry, the same thing happens - fails after exacly 30 minutes. I am using a window 7 pc (with Service Pack 1) and using Lightroom 5.4. I have turned off my firewall and antivirus programs, rebooted, and connected directly to my router (not wireless) and ensuring my pc does not go to sleep, but did nothing I try wil help.
Anyone else get this? Any ideas? Thanks!

I had this problem as well - the upload to Blurb would not work. Creation of a PDF and export as JPEG in the book module worked.
For me, the solution was to turn off the Windows Firewall while uploading. Now it works!

Using Photoshop CS6 and after printing approx. 10 cards on an Epson R3000 printer the program gives me a dialog box saying "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents." Even after closing and reopening the program, the print command is greyed out so I cannot select any printer. This also happens with a Brother laser printer. Both printers will produce a test page out side of the Adobe product. Help!

I cannot get any help either. I get the message "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents." I have reinstalled all drivers, powered off/on all printers (2 of them - a Brother HL - 4040cn and an Epson Stylus Pro 7890 - which all worked fine until this morning). There appears to be no path to a solution. I have read all the forums and tried about 20 different suggestions all to no avail. Reboots, changing cables, reinstalling printers and drivers and Photoshop CS6 - ALL TO NO AVAIL. On a macbook pro retina with 10.10.3. This issue is out there and some get solutions - but not all - that's my crowd...the not all crowd. I have yet to be able to print from CS6 any more. This is a show stopper and my patience is wearing thin. And I'm tired of stupid questions like "is your printer powered on?" give me a break. I have the same problem, but I'm on a mac 10.9. I have 2 folders inside the Adobe Patch folder inside the Adobe folder. The items have a bunch of letters and numbers.
I've attempted 2 downloads, each going through almost the whole process and stopping about 90% saying unable to install, fix the problems listed below (there was an error downloading this update, please quit and try again later). When I click on the consumer support for further assistance, it takes me to an Adobe page that says “This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another” . I have CS4 design premium, CS5 design standard, and Acrobat Professional installed.

There was an error submitting your podcast

We have installed Podcast Producer 2 on a demo 10.6.2 server. We are able to use Podcast Capture directly on the server and podcasts are produced and able to be accessed through the Podcast library.
But when attempting to use Podcast Capture on a 10.5.8 client, after logging in and recording the podcast, when publishing we get the following message from Podcast Capture:
"There was an error submitting your podcast"

The 401 Unauthorized also shows up even when we use podcast capture directly on the server. But the podcast still works then. So I'm not sure this is really an issue.
I have a feeling this is some sort of permissions issue, but I have tried changing the permissions on the /var/pcast and /var/pcast/server folder

How do I change my server so that it uses the FQDN "demomaster.nobl.k12.in.us" everywhere instead of sometimes using the local hostname demomaster.local.
It appears this is a DNS issue. We have set the hostname using scutil and running changeip -checkhostname shows
Current HostName = demomaster.nobl.k12.in.us
DNS HostName = demomaster.nobl.k12.in.us
The names match. There is nothing to change.
dirserv:success = "success"
nslookup on the ip shows that the reverse is working and pointing to the FQDN.
Computer Name in Server admin is set to: demomaster.nobl.k12.in.us
Local Hostname is set to: demomaster
but under the podcast Producer overview screen in Server Admin our Podcast Library and Capture URL both show http://demomaster.local:port instead of the FQDN.
How do we change this?

It will take a couple of minutes to complete the required configuration.

Anyone else getting this error after clicking through the Choose Rate Plan? I can't get past this page at all...

Oh yeah, getting it since 20 seconds after the store opened! Every time I try, I get "There was an error processing your request". Then I get an email telling me I need to go to an apple store to talk to someone in an orange shirt to complete my order. Last I checked, Alaska has no apple stores. Called AT&T, they were absolutely clueless as ever. Called Apple. The first person I spoke with wasn't aware there even was a new iPhone. Then she told me to reboot my computer. Hmm. So, I called apple again and have been on hold for an hour and a half so far.

Your printer driver is having problems.
Resetting Photoshop's preferences sometimes clears it up (by removing previous print settings that the driver is supposed to read, but sometimes fails at).
Otherwise you'll have to work with Canon to figure out why the driver is misbehaving.

With iTunes 5 I went to the music store and tried to double-click a song just to hear a preview (Black Eyed Peas, Let's Get it Started). I was asked to authorize my computer, it said I had authorized 4 of 5 correctly (I have only 2 machines using it, but whatever) and then I got this error:
"There was an error storing your authorization information on this computer.
The requested directory was not found or there was a permissions error. Correct this permissions problem and try again, or deauthorize this computer if the permissions cannot be changed."
I'm on Windows, with admin access, so it's not a permissions problem. I checked the Apple Computer folder in my Documents and Settings\Application Data folder, and I have write permissions there. I deauthorized this computer, but it gave me the exact same error.
In the knowledge base there is a fix for Macs, but nothing listed for PCs. I had no problems using the store with iTunes 4.9, this is a new problem for me with 5.0. So, until there's a fix, no ITMS purchases for me!

I'm having this problem as well. I'm dissapointed it's so hard to find information on the subject.
One of the things I guessed might have bee a problem is that my music files are on a file server on the network but when I changed the iTunes music folder location back to my local drive, I still hade the problem.
Another non-standard setup I have is a recent HD change. I copied my partitions to a new drive via PQ Partition Magic. I've had no problems with any other app, but I can't help but wonder if iTunes stores some kind of invisible autorization information in a hidden section of the partition that it can no longer access.
In any case, a word from the fine folks at Apple would sure help. What do you guys have to say?

I have about of 5 people that were all recently added get the following when attempting to check there voice mail "Searching, there was an error displaying your message" After this the can get to message from off net but not from on net calls. All phones are configured the same the voicemail is configued the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I opened a TAC case and recieved the solution of un checking phone view in Unity, not sure why it only appies to 5 phones but it did work.

I am trying to download a Video from the new iTunes 6 and I do have an iPod Video, but for some reason everytime I check for purchases to download it, I get this error message: "There was an error downloading your purchased music. The disk could not be read from or written to."
For some reason the Apple Team cannot seem to help me with this, does anyone have any idea what is going wrong? I have purchased the video about 1 1/2 ago and no one has helped me from Apple yet. Please let me know....Thanks so much!

I had this same issue today. I was able to download songs but not videos. It turned out that the machine that I was downloading on was my work machine and my music storage location was redirected to my company server. The path was
\\Rgafiles-2\bcross$\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music
I suspected that this redirection was an issue so I installed iTunes on another maching and was able to successfully download the song locally. I then copied the .m4v file to my original machine.
