I try to upload on my computer a very large video that i have recorded (1.60 gigs for 22 minuts) with my itouch 4
but doesnt working ?. I use Windows XP-3. I think it is because this video are too big for Windows but not sure ..
Have you an idea how to upload this video ?.

I have i new GoPro camera who filmed large videos and i have no problem to uploaded this largers videos on my hard disk (more than 2.5G each videos).
It's really Windows Xp who are not able to uploaded my ipod videos or it's with Apple ???

I tried uploading very large files to SharePoint online via the REST API using JAVA. Uploading files with a size of ~160 mb works well, but if the filesize is between 400mb and 1,6 gb I either receive a Socket Exception (Connection reset by peer) or an error
of SharePoint telling me "the security validation for the page is invalid".
So first of all I want to ask you, how to work around the security validation error. As far as I understand the token, which I have added to my X-RequestDigest header of the http post request seems to be expired (by default it expires after 1800 seconds).
Uploading such large files is time consuming, so I can't change the token in my header while uploading the file. How can I extend the expiration time of the token (if it is possible)? Could it help to send post requests with the same token
continuously while uploading the file and therefore prevent the token from expiration? Is there any other strategy to upload such large files which need much more than 1800 seconds for upload?
Additionally any thoughts on the socket exception? It happens quite sporadically. So sometimes it happens after uploading 100 mb, and the other time I have already uploaded 1 gb.

Thanks for the reply, the reason I'm looking into this is so users can migrate there files to SharePoint online/Office 365. The max file limit is 2gb, so thought I would try and cover this.
I've looked into that link before, and when I try and use those end points ie StartUpload I get the following response
{"error":{"code":"-1, System.NotImplementedException","message":{"lang":"en-US","value":"The
method or operation is not implemented."}}}
I can only presume is that these endpoints have not been implemented yet, even though the documentation says they only available for Office 365 which is what I am using.
Also, the other strange thing is that I can actually upload a file of 512mb to the server as I can see it in the web UI. The problem I am experiencing is get a response, it hangs on this line until the TimeOut is reached.

I can't upload or import videos from my iphoto library, into final cut pro x. When i click, IMPORT MEDIA in FCP, It lists iPhoto Library as GRAY, and will not let me access it. I need the videos out of there. I have tried every way I can think of.

I have also tried from the iphoto side, to export the videos or share them to final cut. I have had no luck.
I have tried to drag and drop indidual video clips from iphoto to fcp, and the programs simply do not respond to each other
I can see in the OLDER version of final cut pro x, where it has IMPORT FILES as an option, it was possible. I see this on forums and youtube videos of the older versions.
However, the newer version that i have, does not have IMPORT 'FILES' as an option, it is simply all lumped together as IMPORT 'MEDIA'

at the end, you say "import preferences", which program are you describing?
So im safer using footage that is remotely being pulled from iphoto...
vs
using footage that is imported into FCP from imovie?
Is there anything i can do in fcp to make this footage more reliable or safer or more stable as i pull remotely from iphoto?
All the footage, and all the libraries to all programs, or on a new pegasus 12tb raid 5 setup fyi.

How to upload photos and videos from a camera via an SD Reader after the iOS7 upgrade?

Since uploading iOS7 I have also found that my iPad2 will not upload from my SD card reader (in this case Model A1362). With iOS6 it worked perfectly. I also cannot now upload videos using iTunes, only photos.
This is a major loss of functionality for me since, when travelling, I would upload pictures and videos from my camera to the iPad, edit them on the iPad, and then post them on social media. It also acted as a backup in case the SD card was damaged or lost.

Mine works now too. Maybe it was the upgrade to iOS 7.0.2? Or maybe it had something to do with changing SD cards? I was using a high performance 4GB card, switched to a standard 2GB card and it worked and now appears to work with the 4GB cards as well (standard and high performance).
Go figure.

How to Upload a Very Large Video on my MacBook?

I have a large video file on my camera and both iphoto and image capture won't upload it. The camera is a Canon Powershot SD 750. Both iphoto and image capture say they are uploading, but after a while iphoto says it is done without uploading the video, and image capture just sits there and says it is transferring and never finishes. The video is probably a little under 2gb in size. I currently have around 4gb of space in my computer hard drive.
Any other suggestions on how to get it onto my computer?

Welcome to the forum!
First and foremost, ALWAYS leave at least 10% free space on ALL hard drives ... especially the boot drive. The OS uses the free space for temp and swap files. Without enough free space things will start getting weird.
Since there's isn't enough free space on your boot drive, delete any unneeded files or move them to another drive.

How can i transfer large video from my iphone

I have a large video on my iphone 4s that will not transfer by E-mail, Facebook, Utube, text or USB. When I plug in the USB to my computer it will upload everything except my video it remains on my phone. I really need this video for a student is there a way to get it from my phone to a computer?

Windows XP cannot import video files larger than 500 MB using Camera and Scanner Wizard. You can transfer these files directly from your device by selecting them in My Computer and dragging or copying the movie files to your computer's hard drive.

Very large values from accelerometer

Hello,
I did a small impact test in the lab, and recorded the acceleration. But I got very large peak numbers, like 300g, which is unreasonable. My vi has been checked by many people, seems like no problem. Does anyone have the idea why I got such big numbers?

It would be helpful if you describe your hardware, DAQ , (signal-conditioner with setting) , sensor
and please post a link to the spec-sheet of the sensor and (if you have) the individual sensitivity (cal) value(s) of your sensor. (in metric if possible )
Now read the input voltage at a high sample rate (you can use one of the example vi's ) . If you have a pulse in the diagram hit edit-make current values default, save as a new vi and post that vi.

Uploading or sending videos from my old phone

This may seem like a silly question, but I was wondering if it were still possible for me to somehow upload or send video messages from my old phone. My old phone is a samsung-ach930. I feared I lost this phone years ago that had some sentimental videos (my son crawling for the first time, standing up, etc.) saved on it. But, this morning while rifling through my storage closet I found it! So, now I hope I can still share these videos. Is there any way this is possible? Thanks for any help.

Wow - how cool is that - you found it after all this time!! If the phone has an SD card you can simply turn the phone on and save the pics and videos to the SD card to transfer them to your computer.
If it doens't have that capability, then another option would be to temporarily activate it, send the videos to your email address (it will count as a text message), then reactivate your current phone once you have sent everything.

Cannot transfer large video from iPhone 4S

Hi all,
I have an iPhone 4S and recently shot a video which turned out to be about 50 minutes.
Now, I'm trying to transfer it to my Mac to free up space on my phone, but when I try to download it through iPhoto/Image Capture, the video doesn't come up at all in the list - the video is fine IMG_521, but the items skip from IMG_520 to IMG_522, not allowing me the option to download the video to my Mac at all.
I can view the video just fine on my iPhone and the three files preceding the large video are all 2-8 minute videos and have downloaded perfectly fine on to my Mac.
The video is really important but is taking up so much space on my iPhone - so, any help would be hugely appreciated.

When I explore the device through the PC that video doesnt even show up, but when I look from my ipad its on there. How do I get that video imported to my pc?

HT201302 Transferring large video from iPad to PC - copying file on computer didn't work

I tried connecting my iPad to the PC and dragging the file. It transfers but the file is empty (0 bytes). I'm running XP and the video is 790KB. I may need to compress it on the iPad before transfer? Any ideas? Going to try downloading to another PC NOT running XP next.
I also tried:
--transferring the video via a USB port but the device wasn't recognized on the iPad
--uploading directly to YouTube via wireless and it shows up there but I can't open the file

I switched to Optimize Phone Storage (instead of Download and Save Originals) in photo settings. I want to transfer all of my photos and videos from my phone to my macbook, but they don't show up when I plug in my phone. If I switch back to Download and Save, it looks like more space is used on my phone (so I assume it has downloaded the photos and videos that were being stored online), but they still don't show up when I plug my phone in!

It allows you to copy the photos from a digital camera or iPhone to a folder on your Mac. You can see the photos on your device and select those you want to copy.
If this works, you can use iPhoto to import the pictures from that folder afterwards.
Transfer images, video clips, and MP3 sounds to your computer from many cameras and devices that contain a camera, such as your iPhone. Once you transfer the items, you can delete them from the device.
Connect your device to your computer, then turn the device on.If the device is locked with a passcode, enter it.
In Image Capture, select the device in the Devices list.
Use the buttons at the bottom of the Image Capture window to view the thumbnails as a list or as icons to change the size of the thumbnails, or to rotate or delete images.

Can not import large videos from iphone to MAC or PC.

When I try to import photos from my iPhone 4s to my MAC (with iPhoto) or PC(with explorer) I got no problem at all but with videos larger than 2-3 gb, I receive the message:iPhoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image. Anyone has an idea how to overcome this?

Use Image Capture to upload the video files to a folder on the Desktop and import into iPhoto from there.
