I'm visiting my father and wanted to shoot some videos with my iphone 4. Is it possible to upload them to his computer?

Yes, just be sure that your father's iTunes is set to NOT automatically synch (if he has iTunes). You can then use whatever photo/video capture program that computer has to upload the video.

Restore the phone on your computer from your own backup. Or, erase all contents and settings and set up your phone from your recent iCloud backup if you made one.

No there is nothing you can do to correct it. It is a hardware fault and only Apple can correct it by replacing parts in your Mac. More then likely the Logic board has failed. Specifically the GPU which is soldered to the Logic board so the complete logic board must be replaced.

Some one else created a share stream and I subscribed to it but it shows their picture with my name and that I created the stream. When clicking on the person with their picture and my name it shows their correct info.

30 days is only applicable to My photostream and even then it applies from the time they were added not mwhen they were taken (unless it's the same time)
I'd be inclined to restart your wife's phone and see if that helps, otherwise you might try turning photostream off and on again on her phone.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

for use with Mac OS X, or is it set up for use solely with a Windows format?
If you copy one of the QuickTime files into a folder, in your computer and try
to run it from there, does it work at that point? It may not. Could be the drive
you borrowed from a friend has some other issue; perhaps creator account
and permissions may also be limited by how the content was added there.
There is way too much missing information for me to guess, but I wonder about
how the hardware was set up and if the files are actually available to your Mac.
The QuickTime support page itself should be a portal to more information...

Some one else's name

After receiving a message from an acquaintance I noticed that a significant number of messages in my inbox were addressed to to him i.e. my box his name but it didn't apply to every message in the box.
I tried rebuilding and things had the appearance of retuning to normal however I decided to check by searching the inbox for messages with his name and there were 71 messages listed. On opening them there's no trace or mention of him.
Has any one else experienced this and is there a fix?

Uploading to some one else's iPad

How do I upload a movie I have made on my iMac, to someone else's iPad? When I connect the iPad to the computer, iTunes dialog box asks if I want to sync this iPad to the computer or add it as my new iPad. One or other of the options has to be selected before continuing, which I don't want to do. Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated.

Send them the movie to their email if it is small enough or
to a Dropbox account that they can get to. If you try
to sync that movie directly to their iPad via iTunes, it will
wipe out their iPad and replace content with what you have
in your iTunes. iPad can sync with only one iTunes library at
a time.
If they have a computer: copy the movie from your computer to
their computer via Dropbox or USB drive or email or other method,
import the movie into their iTunes and then sync their iPad with
iTunes on their computer.
You cannot get the movie onto their iPad from your computer using
the USB cable without deleting their content.

How do i uninstall itunes from a computer that i bought from some one else.

i bought an older macbook computer from a relative that still had his itunes on it. How do i get all his music off and get it to sync to my phone or ipod without losing what is on those devices? I tried to just delete it and reinstall it but that did not work. thanks.

Every time I turn my computer on it starts freaking out. The mouse starts moving on its own along with windows coming up and moving off the screen. Also the windows get bigger on their own and the screen slides around like some one else is doing it.

I have checked for viruses, restarted it and nothing works. It doesn't do it all the time just most of the time now.

Try resetting your PRAM by restarting, then holding <CMD>+<OPTION>+p+r until you hear the start up chime twice, then release the keys and allow to boot up.
